6,125 Proposed Regulations and Notifications Posted in Last 90 Days–Average 68 per Day

From CNSNews.com:

(CNSNews.com) – It’s Friday morning, and so far today, the Obama administration has posted 165 new regulations and notifications on its reguations.gov website.

In the past 90 days, it has posted 6,125 regulations and notices – an average of 68 a day.

Some of the proposed regulations revise regulations already on the books.

The website also links to a video of a speech President Barack Obama gave at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. on Feb. 7, 2011, in which the president promised to remove “outdated and unnecessary regulations.”

A number of groups, including the Competitive Enterprise Institute, expect a rush of new regulations now that President Obama has won a second term.

Yes indeed, welcome, America, to the second terms of the president who believes you are simultaneously under-taxed and under-regulated.

And he’s going to do something about that.

Right now.

P.S.
When UK’s The Economist thinks you’re over-regulated, you have a problem, considering the magazine’s source.

    • Just watch, as an example, my state — Fornicalia — slip into the shadows and then the darkness of business death. Over-regulated, over-taxed, state hands throttling the throats of businesses big and small. And businesses continue to flee.

That’s the US to come — or, rather, to continue — under Obama.

  1. I understand. Implementing and enforcing and monitoring compliance of all these regulations, printing them, distributing them, providing training as needed, etc., is how our feckless leader will give jobs to the jobless and reduce the unemployment rate. Additionally it will ensure that more people are uncertain whether they are in compliance with relevant directives thus justifying more regulations to provide more clarity the oversight of which provides more jobs and so on and so forth. Eventually there will be enough regulations for each citizen to be assigned one which they will have the job of monitoring for compliance. Thus, everyone will have a job, there will be zero unemployment and happiness will prevail throughout the land.
    I can hardly wait…

  2. Perhaps someone will begin to realize full implementation of U.N. Agenda 21 is at hand.

Dolorous Umbridge is indeed our headmaster.
