<p><em><span style="color: #008000;">Papa John’s Pizza is standing by a pizza delivery woman who opened fire Sunday on an armed robber in an act of self defense.</span></em></p>
<p><em><span style="color: #008000;">The pizza franchise told FoxNews.com Thursday the employee, who hasn’t been named, will not be fired from the company. </span></em></p>
<p><em><span style="color: #008000;">The employee was making a delivery in Decatur, Ga., Sunday night when a man approached her vehicle, forcing her onto the ground at gunpoint, according to the DeKalb County Police Department. The woman, who had a gun in her pocket, was able to fire at the man while on the ground — striking the alleged assailant, identified as 24-year-old Donquaz Stevenson, in the face.</span></em></p>
<p>This is a woman who brooks no shite from anyone and has the guts to actually defend herself in lieu of succumbing to an attacker.</p>
<p><span style="color: #008000;"><em>While Papa John’s prohibits employees — including delivery drivers — from carrying firearms on the job, the pizza giant said Thursday the woman would not be let go from the company. She instead will be reassigned to another role, according to the company. </em></span></p>
<p>Instead of being able to defend herself, Leftists in this nation would rather have seen this woman completely unable to fight back on an even keel. At worst she may have been killed or raped, at best she would have been assaulted for her cash.</p>
<p>Better yet, the suspect’s face will never look the same, a proper reminder of a stupid choice he made one night. Yes, a choice. There are consequences to choices. Michael Brown made a choice, and Eric Garner made a choice.</p>
<p>God bless this woman — who will still have to fight off the inner struggles of that night. And God bless the Papa John’s company for doing the right thing by keeping and protecting their employee.</p>
<p>Maybe it’s time for a Papa John’s pizza.</p>
