Why Fornicalia is well and truly lost:

And this is no “Urban Myth.”

No Photoshop, no digital effects.  This is completely, 100% accurate:

SFPD Chief Heather Fong, at left, is the first outwardly lesbian Chief of Police in San Francisco’s history.

Theresa Sparks, center, is a former male.  She is president of the San Francisco Police Commission and CEO of a multi-million dollar sex toy retailer.  She is transgender.

Sgt Stephen Thorne, at right, a former female, is the first transgender male SFPD police officer.

But — of course — I couldn’t tell any of that by the photograph.  Because that would be wrong.  Or perhaps insightful.  You choose.

San Francisco’s representative is — brace yourself — Nancy Pelosi.

Any questions from the audience?

  1. I was looking at that photo before reading and I thought to myself “The Adam’s Apple is on the wrong person here …”

  2. A carpet muncher, an *addadicktome* and a *takeadickoffofme*… And let me guess; SF Police have decent insurance coverage that paid for this bullshit??

    • SFPD makes a very good wage. I lived in San Francisco, for a brief time, in the very early 70s when I thought I wanted to work there. At the time, they had a residency requirement. I spoke to any number of SFPD officers; one in particular, a grizzled Inspector, told me to look elsewhere. He said I was not the department’s future — even then — and that if I hired on I would be gravely disappointed. He was right.

About SFPD salaries: “Average pay per employee rose to $130,600 in the 2008-9 fiscal year from $95,600 in the 2003-4 fiscal year. The highest-paid officer, Ricardo Guerrero, earned $223,170 last year when he worked in the narcotics division; he is now a plainclothes officer in the Mission Station.”

On the other hand, SF is the second most expensive city in which to live, only behind New York.

It would be no stretch to suggest that those operations WERE paid by employee insurance.

    • WSF, San Francisco is in fact a beautiful, beautiful city. But even I don’t visit there much because of the rampant bums, gangbangers, and its city philosophy in general. Crime is actually down, but I don’t wish to spend money there which would encourage that bent.

That said, businesses still exist there, large businesses, and it embraces two major ports. China Basin still hosts ships in SF, and the Port of Oakland is is bigger brother.

SF is continuing; it is not “thriving” nor is it “growing.”

SF’s biggest problem is also its biggest plus: it is landlocked and cannot expand. That alone adds incredible value to existing homes and commercial properties.

  3. Scalia indicates our future may include an “assault weapon” ban.
Stockton and other dominoes are beginning to fall.
I’ve felt for some time our economy is simply running on nervous energy… the beheaded chicken is still running around but will soon drop.
My son is in the desert and I’ve warned him he may need to be ready to hop a freight Eastbound even before the signs are obvious. (You can’t drink sand.)

I’m sick to my stomach about what we all see coming, but at least we SEE.
The only question is, WHEN. Not IF.

  4. SFO has been in the toilet since the 70’s… NO desire to spend any time there, and yeah, I’m betting those ‘little’ operations WERE covered!

  5. San Francisco has and still IS the “freak show” city.
Never liked it when I had to go there. It was mandatory.
    Regional offices, etc.
Always glad to get outta town!!

So, my advisory is an Earthquake will happen soon and the whole place will slip into the Sea!!!
SLURP, God takes it all back with an earthquake!

  6. My last time there was in 2006 when I did ADA compliance surveys on eight gas stations that were not in the tourist areas. Some of those areas were grim, like East St. Louis grim. Yes, the area is beautiful overall but I can find most of those attractions in other cities like Portland and Seattle.

  7. Yup, it’s lost. They just might bring an end onto themselves.

” Bay Area Rapid Transit users have all experienced it; escalators that are down at their station. But what’s really behind the maintenance issues for the transit agency?
Officials said one of the main issues is the copious amounts of human excrement found in the escalator’s works, gumming up the wheels and gears. The bottom of BART’s stairwells often act as prime spots for the homeless to take shelter at night and in many cases, relieve themselves.

The article goes on to describe a particular station at The Civic Center and.. yes it is Pelosi’s district that is full of shit. How fitting.

I am at a loss to choose which disgusts me more, the above posted photograph, or the thought of escalators slurrying human waste.

I found a great photo montage here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/26/broken-bart-escalators-poop_n_1706716.html#slide=1251016
Huffpo says 179 escalators are out of service.
#4 is a winner. Anyone for Cholera?
