White House Denies Charge By Attorney that Administration Threatened to Destroy Investment Firm’s Reputation

A leading bankruptcy attorney representing hedge funds and money managers told ABC News Saturday that Steve Rattner, the leader of the Obama administration’s Auto Industry Task Force, threatened one of the firms, an investment bank, that if it continued to oppose the administration’s Chrysler bankruptcy plan, the White House would use the White House press corps to destroy its reputation.
The White House, of course, makes the denial. And except for the “blog” on ABC News, this information is not making screaming headlines above the fold on today’s newspapers across the country. I wonder why that might be?
Instead, the national media has decided that an evening stroll, taken by Mr and Mrs Obama around the White House, is more newsworthy. Yes, this is

After a date night out on Saturday evening, President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama decided to take a stroll when their motorcade arrived back at the White House.
So they began walking on the driveway of the White House South Lawn while holding hands. First they passed the West Wing, then their children’s swing set. They kept walking, swinging their hands together.
Have you ever — I repeat, ever — been witness to a more “in the tank”, completely disinterested, lazy, corrupt and purposely-avoidant news media than exists now with regard to its promotion and coverage of an American politician?
But oh, no, they’re not biased.
And here’s the overarching point: the implication is that the press corps will do precisely what Mr Obama or his administration wants, whenever it wants.
Isn’t this the same kind of extortive excrement one customarily expects from Mssrs Jackson and Sharpton? And does it not confirm that Chicago Politics, as expected, have come home to roost in Washington?

Why is this not surprising to me. Mr. Obama can do no wrong, his staff can do no wrong—in the eyes of the MSM he is perfect and they will report nothing that distracts from the image they have cultivated for him.
The American press is the panting, palavering LAPDOG of Mr Obama and his administration.

About the Obamas’ romantic evening stroll…I’ve heard a rumor — I stress, only a rumor — that Michelle Obama wants another child.
Can’t you just imagine all the gushing from the media el al were a little Obama to be born while the Obamas are in the White House?
As for the White House’s denial in re Chrysler pressure, the White House also denied that BHO bowed oh-so-low to the Saudi king. Heh.

Michelle recently said one of her pleasures is sneaking into Wash DC restaurants with a staff member and having dinner and “nobody knows it’s us”. NOw picture Michelle Obama, all 6 feet and $540 worth of Lanvin tennis shoes “sneaking” into a restaurant and having dinner with “nobody knowing”.
These people bow to Arab Kings on video but Robt Gibbs says what WE SAW is wrong… It’s like living in a virtual world where obama can ONLY be right. Always.
The media — who at one point used to PRIDE themselves on being the bullish watchdog of American politics and politicians — are aiding and abetting, PURPOSELY, most any tactic planned and proposed by the most POWERFUL politician in our country. Well Ballsack has the originator of Fosterization on the team. The firm is lucky the only thing threatened was their reputation.
