Calling former President Jimmy Carter a Moonbat is a slap in the face to all Moonbats.
RAMALLAH, West Bank – Former President Jimmy Carter today warmly embraced a top Hamas terrorist and laid a wreath on the gravesite of former Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, whom Carter called a “peace fighter” and a “dear friend,” according to Palestinian officials speaking to WND.
Visiting the West Bank city of Ramallah, Carter attended a reception with Nasser Shaer, a senior Hamas leader. The reception was closed to the media, but according to participants and the Hamas leader, Carter hugged Shaer and kissed him on each cheek, the customary greeting for good friends. Many U.S. diplomats refrain from kissing Palestinian officials.
“He gave me a hug. We hugged each other, and it was a warm reception,” Shaer told the Associated Press. “Carter asked what he can do to achieve peace between the Palestinians and Israel … and I told him the possibility for peace is high.”
- The violence stops.
- The violence stops for a minimum of one complete month.
LOL BZ! I never thought about it but you are right. Carter is far worse than any moonbat. He must really hate Jews to be doing what he’s doing. He “warmly embraced a top Hamas terrorist.” Doesn’t this type of behavior make him a traitor? Do we have to put up with this tratorous scum just because he was once our president? GRRRRR!
Chamberlain gave away the Sudetenland and the rest of the Czechoslovakian republic went with it.
Carter wants to give away Israel via similar means.
And Lebanon, too, come to think of it.
More than willing to sacrifice other folks for peace!
And then there is an American Radio commentary captured from the pre-WWII archives, that really was fascinating to listen to:
“Now we know that Neville Chamberlain, who is a Realist and masterful man, has made up his mind that the time has come to give up attempts at ideal solutions to the European problems, such as through the League of Nations. To deal with facts, as he found them, and the two outstanding facts were the two dictators, Hitler and Moussolini. Both had grievances that had to be recognized and it’s possible were right. Before Europe would turn over in bed and most dream comfortably. And Chamberlain told his Cabinet that he was going to settle this and on a Realist basis.”
That was *before* the Sudetenland, and just on the eve of Austria sliding into the Nazi grasp via the Anschluss. Dug that up and other delightful nuggets looking at last year’s foreign policy antics with Syria. What is absolutely chilling is how the politicians and the press cast those times to the public. We hear the distinct tone and tenor of those folks willing to take the ‘realist’ approach to dictators and tyrants. Substitute in Mrdinnersuit, Nasrallah, the terrorist leader du jour of HAMAS, Assad, and Chavez for Hitler/Mussolini and ‘grievances’, and you get a good idea of exactly where all this is going.
Strange that some folks still need a roadmap when the trail is already well marked out.
Carter doesn’t just embrace him, he kissed him on both cheeks by custom. And AJ, absolutely CORRECT.
BZ
Now BZ, you’re being too much of a pessimist…
There can be peace…
Once Israel kills all the goddamned Palestinians…
I just got done watching Joe Lieberman of all people comparing Carter to Chamberlain. Yikes!! I’ll be adding this link to my post.
Chamberlain was at least going thru as a representative of the govt going along with approval of the policy makers. Carter is deliberately trying to undermine govt policy and pure simple observational logic.
BZ,
You got me when you said he is worse than all moonbats. LOL!
Carter is no different than Obama and Gore and the rest of them. They will give Israel to her enemies some day if they are allowed to be in power.
He’s worse. Chamberlain was a misguided fool, but Carter is an evil man. To think I once considered him a good-hearted fool. How wrong I was.
I seem to remember my parents always telling that if I didn’t get along with someone, to go and talk to them.
What can it hurt?
BZ, I can’t wait to see you answer to Ranando’s question.

Talk is cheap, nukes speak louder than words, and when Hamas gets one, you’ll see what I mean…
The senile old jackass needs to be in a home somewhere where he can’t f–k up foreign policy.
Don’t be too hard on me BZ….
I find it funny that you Gayle and others have NO problem with Bush and the New Iraqi Government talking with the insurgency that is killing American troops. Talking with the Insurgency to find ways to stop the killings, it won’t work but you seem to be OK with that.
What’s the difference?
Carter is the second worse President, Bush will go down as the first.
Y’all should give him a sex change… the dude definitely has a hormone imbalance … he might even wear a burka, after, so we wouldn’t be able to tell who it was that was performing ultimate acts of idiocy…
Somewhere a doctor should be sued for malpractice. He obviously missed a case of Alzheimer.
