Reverse Discrimination

So, this is where we are now as a society: it is now acceptable to embrace reverse discrimination, particularly if the subjects of same are white males. Of course; it simply follows.

From the WorldNetDaily:

Four firefighters are suing the city of San Diego for being forced by their superiors to attend the annual “Gay Pride” parade where they endured a barrage of sexual taunts and lewd gestures.

San Diego’s fire chief, Tracy Jarman, is an open lesbian who called the July 21 parade a “fun event” in which “all employees are encouraged to participate.”

But the firefighters said, unlike previous years, they were ordered into uniform to participate in the parade in their fire truck, despite repeated protests.

My, anyone sense anything of a reverse agenda here, perchance? But wait, it gets better:

You could not even look at the crowd without getting some type of sexual gesture,” one said, adding, “If any crew member were to hang up pictures at the station of what we saw, we would be disciplined.”

Over the course of three hours, they heard statements such as, “show me your hose,” “you can put out my fire,” “you’re making me hot,” “give me mouth-to-mouth,” “you look hungry, why don’t you have a twinkie (from a man wearing a “Girth and Mirth” t-shirt),” and “blow my hose.”

When they refused to respond to the crowd, some in the crowd turned hostile and started shouting, “F— you firemen” and others began “flipping them off.”

But, naturally, as we all know, those who reach positions of power OTHER than white males cannot even be featured as having the capability or the inclination to misuse their power because, inherently, they are much better than that aforementioned class.

Aren’t they? I mean, like the Demorats, they wouldn’t misuse their power and authority, would they? After all, that’s precisely the source of their complaints, is it not?

Nah. . .

  1. Sweet blog, looooooooooooove the name of your blog 🙂 interesting views, good read. If you get a chance check out my Ancient worldz blog:)love any comments feedback.

  2. Kind of makes you glad you’re not a San Giego fire fighter! But I’m sure there will be more incidences like this. We’ll have to see how the courts work this one out. No mention of the ACLU, though I’m not surprised. Had it been the other way around…
    Bastards!

  3. Oscar: great, thanks for the kudos, and thanks for stopping by!
And yes, concur in re UN.

Thunderstick: of course there will more like this in the future. We are, naturally, guaranteeing it. And no, you will NOT see the ACLU on this one. Period. At all.

  4. Well, I’d never make it as a fireman, one that had to attend a ‘suck the chrome off a fire engines bumper’ queer pride? parade anyway.

It would of been too tempting to hook up to an engines water tank, crank up to max PSI and begin putting out all those ‘flamers’…

  5. …and wouldn’t the rest of us be raked over the coals for requesting the SD Fire Chief to attend a heterosexual, all white, Christian, family-oriented, all-American parade?

Oh, I forgot. That would be discrimination and an infringement of her “rights”; which you, Gunz, and the rest of our Military have ensured and do ensure remain in place.

  6. I think she should be forced to attend a “heterosexual, all white, Christian, family-oriented, all-American parade”! See how she likes them apples!

At the risk of sounding like I hate women, which I obviously don’t because I am one, I sometimes wish we’d never gotten the vote. To many women vote for someone because they are attractive, which is a really dumb reason for voting for anyone. Then we have the current crop of women in politics, Hillary, Pelosi, Boxer… Ugh! Not that all that isn’t bad enough we’ve got women who shouldn’t be in charge of a chicken coop running fire stations. It’s all so ridiculous if it were a book of fiction it wouldn’t be published because it would be thought to be too far-fetched!

  7. “De Lo[l]me well observes, that in societies, laws which were to be equal to all are soon warped to the private interests of the administrators, and made to defend the usurpations of a few.” – Federal Farmer No. 8, 03 JAN 1788.

While talking about legislatures, the concept does apply as the ‘usurpations of the few’ definitely is a thing to be worried about when democracy degenerates. When I see many of the signs warned about by that generation and their thoughts on representative democracy and the abuse of power, and see the exact same things they warned about happening today… I know we are headed into hard times.

  8. All: and you know precisely WHY Chief Jarman was hired; it was the City of San Diego wishing to make a very clear statement. And a statement that did so evidently make. Now how long will her political support last?

  9. Can you imagine if these were women firefighters and were subjected to these taunts by men? There would be outrage. If gays want the same rights as breeders they need to serve the same punishment. Otherwise they don’t have equal rights, they have more rights.
Unfortunately, homosexuals are now a protected group and nothing will happen in this case other than the firefighters being labeled homo-phobes.

  10. The SD Gay Pride Parade, which when I used to work in the fitness industry, I had to attend, used to be pretty mellow. It’s gone all San Francisco the last few years.

This crap is appalling, that they were FORCED to attend.

Most people including gays in San Diego, including myself, a San Diegan, am disgusted.

  11. Mpinkeyes: thanks for commenting, please come back and, YES, the “reversal experience” is the basis for many of my posts — that is to say, just as do you, what would happen if the roles were reversed? Well, as you so aptly point out, the Left and Others So Agenda’d would have kittens and crankshafts.

Jenn: so, you live in Dansiego? My brudda lives in Coronado, the bastard.

  12. I will be back, actually I am back 🙂
It is amazing the double standard that exists in this country with the left and certain groups which happen to be voting blocks that the left is trying to court.

  13. Have you seen news coverage of a gay pride parade or whatever they call it , there are men and women dressed like circus freaks in outfits you wouldn’t find on pay cable at 3 a.m.
They wear their sexuality on their sleeve and expect everyone to be comfortable with it. Then they want us to take the gay presidential debate seriously. They can’t have it both ways. (no pun intended).
