It Just Never Stops | Bloviating Zeppelin

Some days I simply have to slap my forehead and posit:

What is it that the Demorats actually want?

The entire collapse of the country?

An entire class of whore workers laboring solely for those who want things for free and refuse to work themselves?

A complete dismantling of the military?

To speak Farsi? To speak Spanish?

I suppose I could go on and on — but the Demorats and their associates continue to attempt to undermine this country:

CARACAS, Venezuela – Sean Penn applauded President Hugo Chavez as the
Venezuelan leader lambasted the Bush administration and demanded an end to war in Iraq.

Chavez met privately with the 46-year-old actor for two hours Thursday, praising him as being “brave” for urging Americans to impeach President Bush.

“In the name of the peoples of the world, President Bush, withdraw the troops from Iraq. Enough already with so much genocide,” Chavez said before an auditorium packed with his red-clad supporters.

Penn sat near the front, at times applauding and nodding in agreement. He is the latest in a series of celebrities who have visited Caracas, including Danny Glover and Harry Belafonte.

Danny Glover? Left Nutjob. Harry Belafonte? Addled Left Nutjob.

Let’s add Sean Penn to the official list, along with Cindy Sheehan.

In addition, the Demorats wish to further eviscerate this country’s ability to defend itself:

The House proposal would not allow me to carry out my responsibility to provide warning and to protect the nation, especially in our heightened threat environment,” the spy chief said in a statement. “I urge Members of Congress to support the legislation I provided [late Thursday] to modify FISA and to equip our Intelligence Community with the tools we need to protect our Nation.”

President Bush weighed in on Friday as well, challenging Congress to pass “a bill I can sign” and vowing to veto any FISA bill that the DNI does not approve.

Demorats have essentially insisted that, in terms of warrants and the FISA court, if a foreigner speaks to a foreigner (say, an AQ member in Pakistan to an AQ member in Saudi Arabia) and, for whatever reason, that call routes through ANY kind of switcher located in the US, a warrant would have to be acquired prior to monitoring.

And folks, that’s just not simply wrong, it’s stupid and, moreover, placing this information out into the public merely serves to put al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations on notice as to how they may use American laws and policies against America.

It is at times like these that I have to ask myself if the Left and Demorats truly do want the utter downfall of this country — or — are their philosophies so corrupted that they cannot possibly see reality as it exists?

It’s probably a mixture of both. Some do want America to collapse and others are simply blinded by their lust for power.

Shop: until it became buried, I purposely listened to my closest Air America station. I can clearly recall listening to Randi Rhodes say that, first, there is no reason for any so-called war on terror because the moves in the Middle East were predicated solely upon oil and, second, the Towers and surrounding buildings were brought down by American interests solely for money and power.

How is it, then, that you can even BEGIN to have anything resembling a civilized or logical conversation with persons clutching these beliefs?

I am starting to think it is time to start “The Chronicles of Incumbistan” as this latest move in the House of Popular Emirs has demonstrated that this is no longer a Nation run even by rules.

AJ: those is power live for one thing only: to stay in power.

Great rant, BZ. I share your frustration! Personally, I think they feel they are so all-powerful and “special” that nothing can ever affect them, not even terrorism. As for what happens to anyone other than themselves, I truly don’t think they care.

I was on internet radio with Always On Watch yesterday and remember her saying that she was at a demonstration where the libs were carrying American flags. As soon as the MSM left, they threw the flags in the trash and turned over their porto potties, which made a horrible mess, as you can imagine. These are people who claim to care about the environment!

Posturers, phonies and liars, the entire lot of them.

Gayle: I hate to say it, but I find myself aligning myself more and more with Michael Savage in terms of believing that Liberalism (or, as they prefer to be called, “PROGRESSIVES”) is an actual mental disorder. I am at a loss as to any other logical explanation.

Sean Penn and the rest of the Hollywood elitists just keep showing us how ignorant of facts they really are. This is an utter disgrace that Sean Penn would applaud a dictator while the far left is telling us that Bush is a dictator.

Sean Penn’s brain is fried from years and years of drug abuse. Are you surprised that he can’t think clearly anymore? I am not.

Sean Penn’s logic completely boggles my mind. My only conclusion is that he was dropped on his head too many times as a baby.

What I will NEVER, EVER understand is how Demorats can coddle blood-thirsty dictators and praise gross human rights violaters and in the same breath brand Bush as Hitler. The absurdity of it all never ceases to amaze me.
