[I should care to point this out: the only photo I could find of that current issue of Playboy was via Germany — no other nation dared show this on the internet, apparently.] A more focused photograph is here.

Sila Sahin has been branded a “whore” and a “western slut” after appearing topless on the cover of the German edition of the men’s magazine.
Sila, raised in Germany by conservative Turkish parents, says she fears being “spat at” and “shamed”.
Her parents are said to have reacted with “horror” at the 12-page coverage, and her mother has apparently cut off all contact.
Sila, 25 – star of German soap Good Times, Bad Times – claimed the shoot was a reaction to the “slavery” of her youth.
She added: “What I want to say with these photos is, ‘Girls, we don’t have to live according to the rules imposed upon us’.
“For years I subordinated myself to various societal constraints. The Playboy photo shoot was a total act of liberation.”

I don’t condone that photo, that is still exploitation of women, and I find it degrading to intelligent women every where. Posing nude doesn’t make a positive statement. Because the majority of readers of that despicable magazine are men and I am sure, no, positive that she was paid quite handsomely for those photos.
However, I digress, Islam has and never will be a religion of peace, especially for women and girls. They are victims of that heinous religion and deserve to be treated like human beings.

Absolutely! Magazines and tv have been exploiting women for years, making them feel that they are ugly if they don’t look a certain way. It is such falsehood.
From a Christian perspective, I don’t think it is appropriate for women to expose their nude bodies to the world. Read Matthew 5:28.
Posing nude does not empower her and it only makes the men lust after her.
She could have chosen a different avenue, other than, posing for Playboy.
Leticia, I wouldn’t disagree. But she had that option. We all have options to make bad decisions. I remember one thing that resonated with me for years, which finally broke my chill on religion. I overheard an obvious atheist ask a Christian: “So, then why does God allow such pain and suffering in the world? If He were all powerful, He could and would stop all that!” The resonance of the response indicated to me: aha! Got you now!
To which the man replied: “Because God gives us free will.”
Which Islam does NOT, and certainly NOT for at least FIFTY PERCENT of the world’s population.
I simply do not understand Leftists and women who support or adhere or enable Islam. They would be the FIRST to be eliminated or subjugated by Islam.

I have said before that, in its current iteration as practiced by adherents, it Is nothing more than a barbaric death cult. Islam isn’t what people SAY it is; Islam IS as Islam DOES. If, say, Catholics killed as many people as Islam in its name, the global riots against Catholicism would be unceasing.
