Obama & The Military

There is increasing evidence that the federal government will shut down, as “loosely” as that is interpreted. In truth, that really doesn’t mean much —

But with one exception: the US military.
Mr Obama has made it quite plain that he is fine with the checks to our military personnel and their families being suspended. A bill being introduced by the Republicans to exempt our military? Chat from the Demorats indicates Mr Obama would veto same. Further: was this planned?
In my estimation, one US soldier trumps any other member of the federal government including, of course, Mr Obama himself. Particularly Mr Obama, Himself. The One. It’s a naked political ploy to HURT those most vulnerable and most important to our country. Even during the government shutdown during Clinton’s era, he exempted our US military forces.
Whilst this occurs, it’s (again) highly important that Mr Obama gets away on vacation with his family.
Simultaneously, some Demorats admit they misunderestimated the cost of the war in Libya. Imagine that.
And, of course, that Mr Obama’s regime is considering US “boots on the ground” in Libya.
So let’s expand the role of our soldiers and then, consecutively, use them as political pawns in budget games.
Perfect.
Mr Obama as peacemaker. How’s that working out for you, those who voted for The One?

  1. Why do you lie? Obama did NOT say he was fine with serviceman not collection their pay. Boehner on the other hand has not given it a second thought. Play fair. Tell the truth.

  2. So – he’s not going to pay the people who are charged with transporting his and his families over-vacationed butts all over Helengone safely and efficiently?

What could possibly go wrong with that?

  3. I think the Military has the last say… We have a volunteer/Paid military. You don’t get paid you don’t have to fight. At the point Obama shuts down, the “Leaders in the Military” should halt direct operations. I know it won’t happen but if it did, that would shape the game tremendously.

One thing I’ll say is SHUT IT DOWN. Please GOD let the US Government SHUT DOWN. I say that with a heavy heart but my reason is simple:

Look at the damage done in the last 5-6 years? IF it shut down, that means they are stuck fighting THIS issue, meaning they won’t be doing anything ELSE stupid…

Please shut it down till we get the asshat in chief OUT of DC!

  4. bd, DEAREST sir, you might even enjoy this link, published “in the clear,” as well:

Once again, Leftist pablum spewed in a dribbling fashion from the pouting mouth of persons who frown if they don’t get their continual daily dosage of governmental Free Cheese.

Dear bd, I reiterate: I WORK for a living. I KNOW how to read. I received a public school education back when there were real teachers with real books and real discipline and real intact families supporting their children. Now THAT’S an alien concept, is it not? In my family, Denny DIDN’T have two mommies.

    Hugs and kisses,

  5. Why does this surprise anyone? Putting the pieces of the puzzle together, Obama has done everything in his power to turn this country into a socialist state; from turning a blind eye to wikileaks to bankrupting our country, leaving us vulnerable to China’s significantly vested financial interest. If you look at this from a terrorist perspective, unpaid military personnel will lead to disgruntled soldiers which will lead to vulnerabilities in the war region. HOWEVER……we know better. Our heroes on the ground will fight for this country and for the rights of the oppressed regardless of this debacle. The real victims are the families left alone on the home front. How low can a government go to let that happen? Well, in my humble opinion, we haven’t even seen the Obama regime reach the new “low life” standard yet.
