Other than that, I suppose things are just fine. That is, if the man the electorate installed is actually eligible.

What truly matters is whether or not Barack Obama Sr. is listed as his father. If he is, Bozama is ineligible to be President because his father’s citizenship precludes BHO Jr. from being a “Natural Born Citizen”.
And remember, Bobby Jindal will have this same problem, so don’t hitch your wagon to him.

Recent news report he hasn’t talked, one on one, with half of the cabinet heads since taking office. If he were a CEO of a major corporation, the stock holders would have him fired. I detest his politics but could live with them he he was a competent administrator.

No matter how we interpret what’s going on with BHO’s birth certificate, something strange is going on.
Constitutional requirements for POTUS are few and simple. It seems to me that anyone running for that office should be required to prove that he meets those qualifications.
I’m going with BS on this whole thing. I believe it’s little more than a setup and that at some point in the not too distant future this once missing birth certificate will somehow miraculously come to light. Of course it really won’t matter as the die has been cast now for sometime.
Looks like someone got to the Governor. As I said in my blog, I’m waiting for the Horse’s Head to wind up in his bed. These are the methods of the lying left. Things like this should have no place in America.

One, I think this has been outed as a lie but I’m not sure.
Two, it doesn’t matter. It is a distraction and nothing more. Even if it was true, what’s the solution? Upheaval and anarchy? Not what we need right now.
One final thought – if Obama didn’t view it as a useful distraction, he’d put an end to it. Let’s stop helping him.

cj, I beg to differ; yes, I know it doesn’t make much difference as to the position Mr Obama currently holds. That’s a given. But the issue for me is the DEM/MSM love fest provided to one man PLUS the potential for the future:
What IF, after Mr Obama steps down, it IS discovered that he was technically not an American citizen by birth? How will THAT be handled?

And those that argue Obama is Natural Born are winning the argument right now for the same reason we have a “non-vetted” Obama in the White House…
A liberal judiciary and a liberal press DID NOT and ARE NOT doing their jobs.
Our Founding Fathers feared foreign allegiances could doom our Republic and put the “Natural Born Citizen” wording in the eligibility requirements for that reason.
Anyone arguing otherwise is blowing smoke and is part of the problem, not the solution.

Pelosi needs prison time for not vetting him. Someone from the GOP Hawaii needs to talk to the DNC there and ask if they really did refuse to certify him and if Pelosi had to leave one line out of the certification form that went to the State. Wouldn’t it interesting to know if that is true?

I agree with Greybeard that we need to get this Arizona law going in every state. I think there are about 10 working on it now. Can you imagine what could happen if a state refuses to insist on proof of natural born status?

I have no idea how something like that would be handled. The very idea of it scares me, especially at a time when our country is already weak.
But, as to the future? I’m not a fan of constitutional amendments but I’d back one defining what, exactly, is meant by ‘natural born citizen’ and requiring any presidential candidate to show proof of his citizenship before he/she can be placed on any ballot, primary or general election.
And, I know GB has strong feelings about what the phrase ‘natural born citizen’ means, I’ve seen varying definitions and great ambuiguity surrounding it. A definition in the constitution solves all of that.
But again, at the present time, with so much hanging in the balance, we need to be paying attention to what Obama is doing, not to where he was born.
