Obama: ‘Chain of custody’ needed for Syria action

WASHINGTON (JTA) — President Obama said he needs to have all the facts on who used chemical weapons in Syria before taking further action.

“What we now have is evidence that chemical weapons have been used inside of Syria, but we don’t know how they were used, when they were used, who used them,” Obama said Tuesday at a news conference. “We don’t have a chain of custody that establishes what exactly happened. And when I am making decisions about America’s national security and the potential for taking additional action in response to chemical weapon use, I’ve got to make sure I’ve got the facts.”

“We don’t have a chain of custody that establishes what exactly happened.”

Obaka drew a red line.  Then he pulled that red line and kicked it up a few hundred thousand feet.

  1. By drawing a red line and then not responding he makes America look very weak to both our friends and to our enemies. I would love to hear the private opinions other world leaders have on Obama! I’m thinking maybe fool, amateur, out of his league, stupid ass, joke, and such.

Iran will very soon have nuclear weapons! Let’s hope Israel steps up as Obama will not.

  2. The President is WAY over his head! He has been since the get go. I don’t believe that he or any of his advisers have a clue about anything to do with foreign policy. Their ideologies blind them to what really needs to be done.

Mebbe it’ll get better now that he’s got Kerry to help /s

    • Sir, I believe you are correct. He realizes he spoke too soon in an extremely poor attempt to appear a bit Hawkish. His Hawk flew back to bite him in the ass, when he wished not to have been bitten at all.
