Deeply-bronzed Patricia Krentcil, 44, faces up to ten years’ jail for child endangerment after police were called to her child Anna’s school.

The girl reportedly told a school nurse she was in pain from burns while “tanning with Mommy”.

Officers reported that Anna had a “pretty severe sunburn”.

But Krentcil — whose skin is a mahogany brown after visiting a salon 20 times a month — has dismissed the accusation as a misunderstanding. She said: “It’s preposterous. It’s all made up.”
