I made about average for the industry sector during my time in government. I did not overspend, paid off my debts completely and now disabled I can scrape by without SSA… for I’m not disabled enough for their liking, just disabled enough not to be able to hold down a job in the normal world.
This, I know, will change for the worse in up and coming days, weeks, months and years. Thus I prepare for that future. The storm we talked about for years is now making landfall.
I shall not be found unready for its effects.
