America The Incompetent

America is a failing regime.

We, quite frankly, are simply terrible. On all aspects of the spectrum.

Just ask the Demorats. Or the Europeans.

In the meantime, one little teensy-weensy aspect of America’s economy seems, however shockingly, to kick global ass:

Boeing introduced its 787 Dreamliner on, oddly enough, 07-08-2007.

Huh. Imagine that.

How about some facts:

On July 8th of 2007, Boeing had 677 orders for that plane.

Meaning this:

The Boeing 787 was the fastest selling airplane in aviation history.

Airbus: screw you.

Your consortium of European countries, all aligned with your governmental stipends and support, still can’t trump privately-funded American technology and industry.

  1. BZ –
Airbus spent the year “restructuring” and plans to lop off 9,500 jobs in socialist countries like France. No word on how bad the Frog government will crack down.

BZ I am with you 110%%%%! All these asshats fail to see the majesty of the creative thought that AMERICANS put out. They can bitch all they want about us, but they always run TO US when they need help. Screw those dumbasses. That plane is wonderous!

  3. America is incompetent to these people because any nation stupid enough to cling to our beliefs can’t be competent at anything. They need to continually delude themselves and do so quite well. American excellence shouldn’t exist in their minds and it can’t possibly exist, so it doesn’t exist. For some reason people who think like this call themselves “reality based>”

  4. Yid: darn it, why didn’t I notice that!! Again, America the oppressive!

Jay: hmmm. Wonder why Airbus was “restructuring” — issues with the A380 and others, perhaps?

Kris: oh, and yes, there is THAT issue as well. . . :^)
    Just ask Brazil.

Shop: Reality based. Oh yeah. But my bottom line is this: when why the outstretched hand for money or defense?

  5. I’m glad. There is nothing worse than traveling on a crowded noisy airbus plane.

My company flies us on AA exclusively. I hate it. You never know what to expect. You could be on a nice comfy 757 or a crappy airbus.

Oh well. It looks like they will never be flying me anywhere again.
