This is the way to handle a hostage crisis, involving a man who kidnapped a child and has made three demands. Once the demands were known, a hostage negotiator was sent to the scene. As opposed to many US incidents, this one ended on a happy note.
In summary: the “right” thing done, money saved, time saved, child returned.
Material costs to “negotiate” this scene: $1.02.

That works for me! 🙂
One less hostage taker to worry about.
$1.02?
Those are some pricey bullets!
One shot, one kill… Awesome..
And WE say OTHER countries are UNcivilized???
Texas Fred: sounds like my good buddy, Gunny Carlos Hathcock, may he rest in peace.
Henry: importation fees! :^)

A job well done, and, as you pointed out, very little cost to tax payers. Simple enough for most folks to grasp…the key word there is “most.”
Gunny: ahem. Indeed.

That sort of justice may actually do something to DETER kidnappers into pursuing another trade.
Wordsmith: thanks.
