Glad he is happy…..glad it is not parked on my driveway!
Let me guess: you either walk everywhere or you ride public transit. Because if you have one of today’s car’s, they generally have no soul and, frankly, I’m sorry for you. Sorry you’ve never experienced something that has a metal soul. And if you have a car — let me guess — a hybrid or electric?
Let me throw this out there, WT. What kind of vehicle do you think ol’ BZ drives? That should be an easy question to answer. ‘Cause first and foremost, BZ doesn’t “do” public transit. At all.

Awesome story. I love to hear car related stories like that. I am restoring a ’70 Chevelle SS that has been in the family just a bit longer than I have. Mom and dad bought it new, and brought me home from the hospital in it. He sold it to his dad in ’73. Granddad drove it until he passed away, and left it to me in his will. I in turn brought my first-born home from the hospital in it. One day it will be her car.
Now THAT is how you handle a family car! Thank you for sharing that here.
