Demorats have proven, time and time again, that ideology clearly trumps race, though they frequently play the “race card” when it promotes their ideology.
Past examples would include just about any “minority” appointment or cabinet member employed by the former Bush Administration — which, by the way, selected a greater number of so-called “minorities” than had the Clinton Administration.
Proving that, on many occasions, you simply can’t be “black enough” for a Liberal Racist, or sufficiently left for the Left.
Recent case in point:
The Rev. Jesse Jackson on Wednesday night criticized Rep. Artur Davis (D-Ala.) for voting against the Democrats’ signature healthcare bill.
“We even have blacks voting against the healthcare bill,” Jackson said at a reception Wednesday night. “You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man.”
You might want to refamiliarize yourself with the photograph capping this blogpost. I could be wrong, but Representative Artur Davis appears, to me, to be a black man.
With that in mind, in consideration of Mr Jackson’s comment, isn’t this a tad bit like the pot calling the kettle black?
Again, in keeping with this current administration’s tactics, any disagreement with policy or planning absolutely requires degrading personal attacks on those individuals or groups holding to said disagreement. Rep. Davis merely disagrees with Mr Obama’s healthcare bill.
Now, given that Mr Jackson is a black man, and that Mr Jackson is a racist and bigot, are you then surprised that he is excoriating a melanin-matching individual incongruent with his Leftist leanings?
I, myself, am not.
Racists, hypocrites all.

P.S.
On the other hand, Representative Jon Conyers (D, Michigan) is recently quoted as saying that our Mr Obama is being quite too amenable and “bowing down” to the GOP, and that Conyers is “getting tired of saving Obama’s can in the White House.”
I am in a weird mood today due to being on bunch of cold medicine so I am actually thining that the Idiot Panderer J Jackson’s comments prove that there is no difference betwen races. Rep Davis voting against the Health Care Atrocity proves that this is not a fight between races, its not about race at all. It’s about Intellect, something sorely lacking on the Socialist DemocRAT Side.
CB: I’ll agree with the premise that the healthcare plan, itself, isn’t about race — I’ll have to point out, however, that Mr Jackson is MAKING it about race when, in truth, it’s about policy, planning, and disagreements thereupon.

If race becomes the issue, look to the person bringing it up and see if that is a continual aspect of their world view. When that is the case, you have someone who judges by race, first, and does not consider all men to be created equal. I do agree that we are to judge men by the content of their characters and their actions, not upon the color of their skin. To do otherwise is to attempt to demonize based on race, and that is racism.
When racists are demagogues they will assert a purity of race and belief, so that those that don’t believe as they do are ‘impure’ and ‘traitors to their race’. I can find such language common between Skinheads and the followers of Jesse Jackson. I disagree with the incivility of both, and the attempts to cause division within our Nation based on race. No good has ever come of that, no matter if it is Zimbabwe, Weimar Germany, The Balkans, Turkey, China or in the ‘hoods in Chicago.
When one stands up for policy for the Nation, and asks if this is to the benefit of all citizens of all races, colors and social class, that is looking out for the safety of the Nation. That is the job we elect our Representatives and Senators to do: not to play favorites amongst race, class, ethnicity, or social strata but to ensure that all Americans are treated equally by the law. That is the opposite of what a racist demagogue wants.
It is easy to tell the difference, no nuance involved.
What was that black woman that Clinton tried to appoint who used the term “authentic blacks who have their roots in the black community”? I forgot her name and it’s not worth the trouble of looking up.
Shop: “all blacks are equal; some are more equal than others. THEY vote lockstep Demorat.”
