  1. BZ,

I really jazzed about this, I will be even more jazzed when he says it.

As far as I’m concerned the election will be over when he does.

I will no longer worry about Obama or Hillary getting in, thank God I won’t have to move.

  2. I can’t put my finger on it, Ranando, but there’s just “something” about Thompson — a professional air, an air of maturity, a presence — I can’t say specifically. But I think a lot of people are waiting for this.

  3. Amen, again… And yeah, this is the best thing that has happened yet, because I for one feel that the Republican party has been over run by the Dems and there isn’t one Conservative in the whole damned lot of em, and this is the ONLY chance the Repubs AND the Conservatives have, and the best opportunity America has had since Reagan…

  4. Now remember, his record will show that he has not always made the most conservative choices. I’m all for FT. Yall don’t bail when the MSM starts pointing out his warts.

  5. I’m so glad that he’s going to run, and I think he has what it takes to go to the front of the pack in record time. His announcing later than the others may even be to his advantage. The others are already getting a bit stale and he’ll be a breath of fresh air.

  6. Very goood news. Now, unlike the dems, we actually have canidates that actaully have different views and don’t just have variations of BDS, socialism, turn Iraq into Vietnam II…

  7. I think he has more of a chance that a lot of the “experts” think he has but I just hope he can become a top tier candidate. I optimistically think he can, only because everyone is so unhappy with the current top tier. McCain and Romney suck and Rudy is great on the WOT & judges but is lacking on other important issues. I sure hope Fred is the man because we need him.
