Pummeled by ghastly economic news, President Obama called Monday for more spending and extended tax cuts that he said would help stimulate the economy — but these also could deepen the deficit problems that helped the federal government earn its first-ever debt downgrade last week.

    NOT A JOKE…The New China News Agency, demanded Saturday that America “learn to live within its means.” And it suggested the U.S. might want to reduce its military defense spending further to make timely payments. *shaking head*

    Leticia: how odd that China “suggested” that we cut our military, at the same they just launched their very first aircraft carrier TODAY. And please allow me to make another point:

    During Reagan we had a 600-ship navy. Today, it is a 216-ship navy. This is the smallest naval fleet we’ve had since 1918.

    You see the DEM/MSM write about that in the media? Why no, you don’t.
