What’s the difference between these two statements:

Barack Hussein Obama, 44th President of the United States:

I do not support gay marriage. Marriage has religious and social connotations, and I consider marriage to be between a man and a woman.”

Miss USA 2009 candidate (current Miss California) Carrie Prejean:

Well I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. Um, we live in a land that you can choose same sex marriage or opposite marriage and, you know what, in my country and in, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there. But that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think that it should be between a man and a woman.”

Results? “Celebrity” blogger and Miss USA pageant judge Perez Hilton, who is gay, said:

The way miss California answered her question lost her the crown, without a doubt!” Perez told Access Hollywood after the pageant. “Never before that I’m aware of has a contestant been booed at Miss USA.”

Let’s clear up the confusion:
Mr Obama’s opinion on gay marriage is minimized and shoved under the carpet because he is black. Well, not quite black enough for some people, but close enough for government work.
Miss California loses the Miss USA pageant because a gay judge on her panel publicly admits he didn’t care for her opinion.

The Leftists and Socialists in the media and beyond prove, once again, how completely MONOLITHIC, rigid, judgmental, non-accepting, uncompromising and intolerant they are with regard to OPINIONS and thoughts. “Diversity”? Quite the opposite: there is ONE scheme of thought, ONE way to speak and think: theirs.

  4. Hi BZ! Sorry I have not been on, Getting back into the swing of things in Dutch Harbor. As A gay male I think I might Have an interesting view on this for some of your followers. I do think Gay marriage Should be allowed just based on equal rights, HOWEVER I think ALL marriages should require classes and councling before they get that license. It is harder to get a Fishing license than a marriage license in some areas!! I know some gay and lesbian Couples that have been “married” for 50 years. Why should they not have the same rights as that idiot dimwad Brittany spears who got married and divorced in three days. Are HER marriages More “holy” or “Sacred” because they involved a man and a woman, rather than a “Same Sex Couple” that have lived together for 20 years and raised children together?
    I think not.
    Of Course, For me Personally, I asked all my Democratic friends who were little Obama-Bots Why they were voting for Obama when both McCain and Palin had a better “record” on gay rights than Obama, Who as on every other case had NO RECORD!! Like all the rest that drank the Kool-Aid they all were projecting insane predictions like he would overturn the ban on gays in the millitary, would nationalize gay marriage and that all the world would love us. Now that Son of a Bit#h is talking to Iran where they Hang gay men in public spectacles, and shaking hands with Chavez who imprisiones gays.

    BTW, did you hear that the head of the California pageant was “disappointed” with Miss California’s opinion? Could not believe it. The pageant trashed her too! Unbelievable.

    I don’t care what the issue is: if there are traditional opinions that you cannot have, and it is set in stone that you better not bring those opinions to the pageant, because no matter where you are in the point system – you’ll be shot down in the end, well, these young ladies should know this going in.

  6. This is the issue that got me onto the Google maps pinpoint locator. I sent money to the Yes on 8 campaign in California was then termed a hater on am intarwebz map. I’m glad I sent some, I should have sent more money.

    Proposition 8 is now the law of the land in the State of California.

    “Perez Hilton” motivated me to send $200 to the Proposition 8 Legal Defense Fund.

    It is what it is. Fellow citizens: show up, contribute, write your Congressman, don’t just stand there!

    Hey BZ:
    I agree with you that the media assassination of Ms. California was unwarranted and a serious affront to those who believe in free speech. But I disagree that Obama gets a pass because he is Black. He gets a pass because he has friends in high places who run the news media. He gets a pass because he is part of the Demoncat mafia and he is teflon coated.

    Remember all the negative static between gays and Blacks over the gay marriage bill in last election? As a matter of fact, many gays were blaming Blacks for the defeat of the bill, despite the fact that many Californians voted for it. He doesn’t get a pass cuz he’s Black. He gets a pass because hes part of the socialist, American hating, screwing us over big government…

    I trip off how the media hasn’t showed us that he’s renigged on almost all his campaign promises…He is a liar and a hypocrite, but the news media always portrays him in the finest light. He doesn’t even support his own auntie for God’s sake. His actions are inconsistent with what the majority of Blacks even believe in (despite their support for him at the polls). Most of us are pro life religiously and most of us support our family members one way or the other!

    Ms. California doesn’t get a pass because you don’t screw with the gay mafia when you are in the beauty queen or fashion industry. Politics and fashion are different in that regard.

    Frankly, I have a real problem with the vitriol being spewed at this woman. All she did was speak her mind and is getting reamed up the ass because of it.

    There is a show called Reaper and it is about a guy who is supposedly the son of the devil. One of his friends was in a relationship with a demon for God’s sake! All this garbage on the air to normalize what is bad and demonize what is good. We live in a society that is reversing its morals. Our President is merely a symptom of a sick sick populace.

  10. Well, I have a different take. It’s not that I think Miss California deserves to be “assassinated”. I don’t. Perez Hilton boxed her in and demanded HER opinion. And she gave it.
    My issue is this.
    She’s Miss California running for Miss USA. She has to know that Perez Hilton (and probably several other attendees and pageant people) are homosexual.
    She’s in a PAGEANT. There were a million other ways she could have stuck to her guns and NOT come right out and say marriage is between a man and woman.
    Yeah, my conservative husband blasted me for this opinion. I say in entertainment, you can say what you want, but you pay the price.
    The Dixie Chicks anyone?

    DM: of course, buttressing my point: you cannot even have an OPINION on this anymore!

    Mahndisa: perhaps I should have been more sharp: yes, he does get the pass because he is black but the pass comes mostly on the backs of the media; that’s a most valid aspect.

    JM: that too is a point and gets back to this basic question: how MUCH of your SOUL are you willing to SELL to “get ahead” in our PC society? She evidently made a decision that’s going to have future consequences. But I have to admire her honesty thinking, as you point out, that she must have known what she was doing and did it anyway.

  12. this country was founded on a religous framework and idea. the concept of marriage is a religous one, which doesn’t mean you HAVE to get married. the purpose of marriage in the bible was to find someone who can help you glorify God even more, not to just get a tax break. bottom line: marriage is religous and gay isn’t. they shouldn’t have asked such a damning question like that to her anyway. you can’t ask something and them shun them for giving the answer you didn’t want to hear. what a shame.

  14. Fifty years ago one of the greatest vocalists of the 20th Century, Johnny Matthis, liked men and everyone knew it but it was considered an artistic eccentricity and society gave him a pass. Today we have come full circle except that instead of artistic eccentricity, which the modern elites would never accept, we have political eccentricity and because he’s a Democrat he’s given a pass.

    Thanks for bringing this into a historical context. Johnny Mathis is gay, but he kept that under wraps for damner half a century even if everyone knew it.

    The media never gives Alan Keyes a pass and he is Black. See I think this is more having to do with connections people have to the Soros liberal thinktanks. Alan Keyes isn’t part of that and speaks out against the gay mafia lobby.

    The media has created a veritable messiah in Obama and perhaps his color is part of it, but as I said if it was, why is the media so evil towards Alan Keyes and other Black cons? Cuz they disagree with what the media wants them to say…

    I hope we are not speaking past each other, we might be in agreement to an extent…

    Miss California was asked a “values” question. She answered it. Isn’t that her RIGHT to have an opinion? Well, I guess not — in a leftist society in which everyone must parrot the party line.
