Madeleine Albright thinks so:

Prague, Oct 7 (DPA) Former US secretary of state Madeleine Albright does not rule out a war against Iran in the nuclear dispute between Tehran and the international community.

‘This last resort can never be given up completely,’ the Czech-born Albright who also served as US ambassador to the United Nations, told Prague-based CT1 television.

Britain’s on board as well:

British defence officials have held talks with their Pentagon counterparts about how they could help out if America chose to bomb Iran.

Washington sources say that America has shelved plans for an all-out assault, drawn up to destroy the Iranian nuclear facilities and take out the Islamist regime.

The Sunday Telegraph has learned that President Bush’s White House national security council is discussing instead a plan to launch pinpoint attacks on bases operated by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Quds force, blamed for training Iraqi militants.

Rampaging Muslims have killed 10 Christians, injured 61 others, destroyed nine churches and displaced more than 500 people in northern Nigeria, according to eyewitnesses – all because Muslim high school students claimed a Christian student had drawn a cartoon of Islam’s prophet, Muhammad, on the wall of the school’s mosque.

So, of course, it’s time to kill everyone extant. Only if you’re a Muslim, though.

And then, further, when was it necessary to tell the truth in order to acquire a reason for wholesale slaughter if you’re Muslim:

According to Compass Direct News, which specializes in reporting on Christian persecution worldwide, there are 1,500 students at the high school, called Government College-Tudun Wada Dankadai, of which only 14 are Christians, and only seven of those actually live on campus. The Christian students at the school insist no one ever saw the alleged cartoon, and furthermore that no one in the tiny minority group of Christians would have dared such a feat, especially during Ramadan.

“How can we take such a risk when we know that we are a minority and cannot stand [against] them?” Christian student Shehu Bawa told Compass. “This is a lie created to have a reason to attack us.”

Oh no! A lie?? How can that possibly be so?? A lie, promulgated at the behest of the world’s finest, most honest, most pristine, most honorable religion?

After attacking the few Christian students in their school, the rampaging Muslim students poured into the streets of Tudun Wada, joined now by other Muslims. For the next four hours, reports Compass, the growing mob burned down Christian churches, vandalized Christian property and murdered innocents.

Among the churches burned were: St. Mary’s Catholic Church; St. George’s Anglican Church; Evangelical Church of West Africa; Assemblies of God Church; First Baptist Church; a Pentecostal church called the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Church; an African independent church, the Cherubim and Seraphim Church; and two other Pentecostal churches, The Chosen Bible Church and Deeper Life Bible Church.

The 10 Christians murdered included: Augustine Odoh and his younger brother Cosmos Odoh, both members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Another Catholic, Joseph Eze, was also killed. When Compass filed its initial report, the corpses of the three Catholics were lying at the City Hospital in Kano city. Seven other Christians murdered were buried in a common grave Wednesday, but government workers did not allow relatives or church leaders to identify the corpses.

A final word on Islam, the religion of peace, tolerance and understanding:

More than 10,000 Christians have been martyred in the region since the Islamic law was imposed in the region in 1999, and Voice of the Martyrs has helped surviving family members through its Families of Martyrs Fund with Care Packs, Village Outreach packs and words of encouragement to believers who stand for their faith “amidst volatile, uncertain conditions.”

You do the math.

Ah yes, Islam, the religion of peace, tolerance and understanding. And the murderers of our soldiers in Iraq.

Some persons throughout the Blogosphere may not like this but, after some time and personal analysis (my Friday post being minimalist because I was otherwise occupied with the assembly of this post) I’ve made some conclusions that I feel compelled to share now. Perhaps a few of these things were forced by the recent public statements by James Dobson; perhaps they came to a head as the result of my reading numerous associated blogs the past few days and weeks.

I MUST TAKE A STAND:

No matter whom the GOP nominates to run for President I shall, first, show up on Election Day and, second, I shall tick the name next to this GOP candidate.

This is not, I believe, the time for protest which, in my opinion, can only conclude with a Conservative defeat. And if this results in my being termed a Defeatist or a Lesser Of Two Evilist, or a Moderate, or a Traitor to the Good then — well — so be it.

Because I still believe, at least this week, that ANY GOP candidate is better than Hillary Clinton in the White House. And trust me, let me make this prediction known now: it will be Hillary Clinton as the Demoratic nominee.

Yes, I am well aware of all the standard complaints regarding the GOP and, dear readers, you’ve been witness to my numerous posts regarding the wrongheadedness of their past majority. We held the majority, the ascension, and we managed nothing more than to squabble and preen and squander our power away.

Then there are the complaints about President Bush; I am aware of them all and with many of them I publicly made excoriations. Money flows through his hands like water; he has pissed away billions on AIDS, foreign aid — you know the standard information. Iraq, immigration, Dubai ports, communications, public speaking, the One World Barbeque. I don’t deny many of these issues at all.

But Bush’s presidency is at an end, it’s not the issue; now it’s about our future, who we choose and, primarily, who occupies the White House for the next 4 years come 2008 — and, in fact, the next 4 years thereafter.

THE FOUR MOST IMPORTANT WORDS:

Four US Supreme Court associate justices who will very likely be up for replacement in the next 4 years — and the recommended appointments of which will stem from the next President of the United States.

If there is one thing that Republicans somehow FAIL to recognize (and the Demorats conclusively understand!), it’s the massive power that exists in the US Supreme Court. To me, it is abundantly clear that the Left cannot enable many of their insane socialist and defeatist policies in the public domain; therefore they must rely on the various courts of the land to confirm or deny the policies and agendas they wish. Because the bulk of their elitist, socialist, illogical, naive, egregious and fiscally-onerous policies cannot be supported or passed by the electorate, the only remaining venue is the US Supreme Court.

We as Conservatives rail against anyone who is not our Ideal Candidate. “If the GOP doesn’t nominate _____, then I’m voting for a Demorat, Ozzy Ozbourne or I’m just not voting.” And in my opinion the GOP candidate is shaking out to be Rudy Giuliani. “I won’t vote for Rudy,” is the refrain I hear from many. “He’s pro-choice, anti-gun,” yadda yadda. I’m not convinced. But one thing I do know is what he’s said about his SCOTUS choices:

On the Federal judiciary I would want judges who are strict constructionists because I am. I’m a lawyer. I’ve argued cases in the Supreme Court. I’ve argued cases in the Court of Appeals in different parts of the country. I have a very, very strong view that for this country to work, for our freedoms to be protected, judges have to interpret not invent the Constitution. Otherwise you end up, when judges invent the constitution, with your liberties being hurt. Because legislatures get to make those decisions and the legislature in South Carolina might make that decision one way and the legislature in California a different one. And that’s part of our freedom and when that’s taken away from you that’s terrible.

If we as Conservatives fail to appear on election day because our Ideal Candidate wasn’t chosen to run against Clinton, you can be assured that, with the current push to destroy Conservative talk show hosts, O’Reilly and Limbaugh for example, the Fairness Doctrine will be enabled and free speech will be minimized or completely stamped out under a Demorat rule. And that, dear readers, shall translate to YOUR inability to post and write what you truly feel; mine too. Moveon.org was an abomination. But they have the absolute RIGHT to post and write what they wish. You know my feelings on free speech.

But that’s just one issue. You’ll get HillaryCare. You’ll get $5,000 of your cash given to each new baby. Want an incentive for a flood of illegals into this country that you absolutely cannot stop? Give $5,000 per illegal child. Just wait.

You’ll see the military gutted like fish. You’ll see taxes on every level increased. You’ll see this country simper and pander to every tinpot dictator. You’ll see this country kissing the ass of Europe. You’ll see this country take it up the ass for Islam. You’ll see Christianity made an even greater pariah. And you’ll see every socialist call taken up and embraced. You’ll see wholesale rewriting of history. And those are just the things I can envision right now. We have no idea what’s in store for us should we hand the White House over to the Demorats. Elect a Dem and you’ll get even more of a plutocracy than we have now.

So please, write your comments. Then stay home on election day. Mind you, I really don’t believe you’ll be oh-so-happy with the results.

No kidding she’s right — in both senses of the word.

On women:
If we took away women’s right to vote, we’d never have to worry about another Democrat president. It’s kind of a pipe dream, it’s a personal fantasy of mine, but I don’t think it’s going to happen. And it is a good way of making the point that women are voting so stupidly, at least single women.

It also makes the point, it is kind of embarrassing, the Democratic Party ought to be hanging its head in shame, that it has so much difficulty getting men to vote for it. I mean, you do see it’s the party of women and ‘We’ll pay for health care and tuition and day care — and here, what else can we give you, soccer moms?’

Know what? Coulter’s correct. I still believe this completely:

Either women vote for Demorats because they swoon over the thought of a Sista in the Presidency, or have swooned over the former Cocksman-In-Chief. “She’s a woman; that’s all I need to know,” or “he’s so cute, that’s why I’ll vote for him.”

Or men — they are “girlie men” (say it like Ah-nold!) who likewise predicate their decisions based on how they feeel and in consideration of the emoootions of others, in a good glooobalist view. It seems the last of our Real Men are soldiers, firefighters or cops. They’re certainly not in politics, eh?

Demorats cannot deal with facts that conflict with their perception of not life as it is and shall be, but as they feeeeel like it should be. The skies on their planet are purple-orange.

It’s as simple as that.
