LONDON (Reuters) – Britain’s biggest theme park has called off the country’s first “National Muslim Fun Day” because of lack of interest, the park said Wednesday.Alton Towers in central England was to open on September 17 for Muslims — with halal food, a strict dress code and prayer areas.Music, gambling and alcohol were to be banned for the day and theme park rides such as “Ripsaw,” “Corkscrew” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” all segregated by sex.But the park said the event’s organizers, Islamic Leisure, who rented the park for the day and were marketing the event, had called it off due to “insufficient ticket sales.”“Alton Towers is disappointed that the planned Family Fun Day Sunday 17th September has had to be canceled,” the park said in a statement. A park spokeswoman said Islamic Leisure would refund those who bought tickets.

The European Union Shows Its True Colors
The European Union shows, once again, its true colors — despite the London subway event and the bombings in Spain.
That color is yellow.
From Israel’s Ynetnews.com:
The European Union does not intend to place Hizbullah on its list of terrorist organizations for the time being, EU President Finland said on Tuesday.
You can read the rest of the article at your leisure; I’m simply going to take a few more seconds to make my post succinct and my take on that one sentence very clear:
The European Union displays, for all the world to see, what one gets (and what the United States can expect) when various countries import an unimpeded flow of Islamic immigrants, legal and/or illegal. These countries are now afraid of the ramifications and welfare of their own internal structures and governments should they take a clear and united stand against Islam via Islamists or Militant Islam or for Israel.
I repeat for the brain-addled amongst us: these countries would be horrified if a mere fraction of the continuing events befalling Israel would be visited within their borders. Nor am I convinced they would even know how to survive such an onslaught.

America should be pushing Israel to hit Syria. It would greatly help the situation in Iraq for America. Syria lets hundreds if not thousands of terrorist cross their boarder to attack American soldiers in Iraq, By allowing Israel to attack now this would reduce these terrorist crossing Syria to Iraq to zero, thus saving America lives. Syria also let Sadaam send his WMD to Syria, before America attacked Iraq.
If America pushes Israel to curtail attacks, instead of pushing Israel to attack Syria, America will in the end pay a price of American blood. It will be immediate with the soldiers in Iraq paying the price for American and Israel giving into cries of the anti Israel EU and UN. It will also be long term due to putting off the conflict with both Syria and Iran.

More Of “We Are At A Crossroads”
Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan president, has invited Iran to invest in his country’s oil and gas industries during talks with Mahmoud Ahmedinejad, the Iranian president.
Talking to reporters in Tehran, Chavez said that he hoped Iran would invest in Venezuela’s Orinoco region.
“We invite Iranian companies to the Gulf of Venezuela and the delta for gas production,” he said on a visit to Iran as part of a four-nation mission that included Qatar, Russia and Belarus.
Iranian investment in Venezuela last year was worth $1 billion, most of it in oil and gas and engineering sectors.
Venezuela and Iran are both members of the Opec and fierce critics of the US and the pair pledged to stand by each other in their struggles with the United States.
Chavez met Ahmedinejad on Saturday and said his country would “stand by Iran at any time and under any condition”, Iran’s state-run television reported.
Haq, a Muslim, told authorities he was angered by the war in Iraq and U.S. military cooperation with Israel.“He pointedly blamed the Jewish people for all of these problems,” Seattle Police Chief Gil Kerlikowske said at a news conference Saturday.According to a statement of probable cause, Haq told a 911 dispatcher: “These are Jews and I’m tired of getting pushed around and our people getting pushed around by the situation in the Middle East.”
