Tuesday night’s GOP debate

Hugh Hewitt & Donald TrumpCNN hosted the final Republican debate of 2015, Tuesday, December 15th.  Once again Hugh Hewitt was one of the questioners, and Wolf Blitzer was the moderator.

GOP Debate 12-15-2015First Debate:

Consisting of George Pataki, Rick Santorum, Lindsay Graham and Mike Huckabee, Huckabee appeared the most relaxed and easily spoken, whilst Graham was the most contentious but most emotive and passionate of the bunch, making some points as well.  In my mind, Graham was the winner though I certainly did not agree on all of his points.  The bottom line is this: the GOP could do without all of those persons clotting the ranks.  They should all move on.  They are yesterday’s news.

Second Debate:

The “prime” debate consisted of John Kasich, Carly Fiorina, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush, Chris Christie and Ron Paul.

Rand Paul was obnoxious, Trump neither won nor lost and, to my mind, it was a toss-up between Cruz and Rubio.  Though, I must say, Christie did in fact score some serious points.

Ben Carson was massively unimpressive; a manikin could have been substituted with equal efficacy.  Carson isn’t ready for much of anything political.  Yes, no argument, Carson is the quintessential nice and good man.  He is not a politician and not ready for a position like this at all.  I should submit he’d best stick with his day job and, at most, local politics.

Kasich was also obnoxious.  He always has been.  There is a certain “something” about Kasich that simply rubs me the wrong way.

Fiorina spoke well but no one seems interested in listening to her. Her campaign appears to be, however, run by morons who have no idea how to market her.

Bush tried massively to be what he is not: overbearing, pushy, contentious — and it doesn’t play well with him because that’s not his nature.  Most everyone can tell it’s a FALSE persona, apparently shoved onto him by his handlers.  It’s fallacious and duplicitous and even 5-year-olds can see through it.  Bush is done, stick a fork in him.  He’s not the future of the GOP.  This proves Bush will do anything to win the presidency.  Things that are so incredibly removed from his comfort factor.

We see you, Jeb.  We know who you are and who you aren’t.

Since writing this a few hours ago, I have some further input.

Upon further consideration, Cruz and Rubio disappoint.

It is Christie who, frankly, appears more presidential and not so navel-gazing.

Can’t say “Christmas” at NY’s PS 169

Santa Claus is banned. The Pledge of Allegiance is no longer recited. “Harvest festival” has replaced Thanksgiving, and “winter celebrations” substitute for Christmas parties.

New principal Eujin Jaela Kim has given PS 169 in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, a politically correct scrub-down, to the dismay of teachers and parents.

“We definitely can’t say Christmas, nothing with Christmas on it, nothing with Santa,” PTA president Mimi Ferrer said administrators told her. “No angels. We can’t even have a star because it can represent a religious system, like the Star of David.”

But here’s the caveat.

Whereas before there was none, now there is the beginning of some actual pushback to political correctness.

Like it or not, I attribute that to one man: Donald Trump.

Absent the recent conduct of Mr Trump in response to the manner in which he is conducting his campaign and the focus he has brought to particular issues, I suspect the backlash to such politically correct behavior would not be building, much less being named.

And yes, there is pushback to Principal Kim’s position.

For that, I thank Donald Trump.

Obama: REFUSING to allow social media screening for K1 visa applicants

Fearing a civil liberties backlash and “bad public relations” for the Obama administration, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson refused in early 2014 to end the secret U.S. policy that prohibited immigration officials from reviewing the social media messages of all foreign citizens applying for U.S. visas, according to a former senior department official.

“During that time period immigration officials were not allowed to use or review social media as part of the screening process,” John Cohen, a former acting under-secretary at DHS for intelligence and analysis. Cohen is now a national security consultant for ABC News.

Four dead in Benghazi.  Fourteen dead in San Bernardino.  And that policy is SECRET.  I wonder why that might be?

And Obama along with his Leftist Cabal couldn’t care less.  Anyone (except them) can readily be sacrificed on the altar of political correctness.

There is NO Constitutional RIGHT to a visa of ANY KIND in the US.

Looking at the social media on Tashfeen Malik, I submit, may in fact have saved FOURTEEN people from being killed in San Bernardino.  All it would have taken are a few clicks into Google and entering brief information into some fields.

Tashfeen Malik “passed” three US background checks, yet embraced jihad on social media as documented by the UKDailyMail.com.

  • Malik said she supported violent jihad and that she desired to take part in it

  • If officials found Malik’s messages, her visa likely would have been denied 

  • Screened by Homeland Security and State Department after entering US

  • Malik and husband Syed Farook killed 14 people earlier this month after passing through customs in July 2014 and getting married the next month

This is not just a shame — considering the deaths of fourteen American citizens and twenty-two persons seriously injured — it is plotted and purposeful incompetence.  Information indicates that K1 visa applicants were not checked via social media.  It is not just abominable absurdity and purposeful incompetence.  It is from a Jeh Johnson memo.  It is the POLICY of the United States — because of a politically correct narrative embraced and promoted by Barack Hussein Obama.

Obama once AGAIN, as well as his administration — and Jeh Johnson — has AMERICAN Blood On HandsBLOOD on his HANDS.

NOT to check social media was POLICY.

Obama lies to Americans.

Americans DIE behind Mr Obama’s political correctness because he doesn’t wish to disturb, offend or inconvenience Muslim applicants.

ISIS USES SOCIAL MEDIA FOR RECRUITMENT.

Yet the US fails to — per its policy — and must NOT check social media to “vet” K1 visa applicants.

State Department records show that in 2014 the U.S. government issued nearly 10 million nonimmigrant visas, over 40,000 of which were K-1 fiancé visas like the one Malik used to enter the country.

And yet we think that Obama and this government has the slightest ability to “vet Syrians”?  Much less the actual inclination?

It’s not too terribly far from calls for torches and pitchforks, ladies and gentlemen.

Illegal Aliens Busted in Cloned Border Patrol Vehicle

Human smugglers carrying 12 illegal aliens were captured north of Laredo in a cloned U.S. Border Patrol vehicle.

The incident happened on Interstate 35 at mile marker 65 near the town of Cotulla. That would be located nearly seventy miles into Texas. A border patrol agent became suspicious of the cloned vehicle while he was following it, Border Patrol Agent Hector Garza told Breitbart Texas while acting in his capacity as president of the National Border Patrol Council, Local 2455. After stopping the suspicious vehicle the driver was arrested and the agent found 12 illegal aliens stuffed inside the Chevy Tahoe that had been painted with Border Patrol vehicle markings.

The vehicle was painted to look like a Tahoe regularly used by the U.S. Border Patrol. It did not have any overhead lights normally found on the vehicles. It did; however, have a light bar mounted on the dashboard and the rear view mirror had been removed. It appears the rear seats may have been removed in order to stuff more people into the vehicle.

Here’s an interesting point: Leftists say that more Mexicans are self-deporting themselves than ever before and that, overall, fewer persons are coming over the southern border illegally.  That’s their meme and they’re sticking to it.

The truth, however, is the precise reverse.  What’s actually occurring is that the Obama Administration is deporting fewer illegals than the US has in a decade.

Moreover, the numbers are actually increasing.

Many of these illegals are kids and young people buttressed by the belief — a true belief — that the US is overlooking illegal crossings.

And what of this stat?  Mexico deports more people than we do?
