FBI: Hammers, Clubs Kill More People Than Rifles, Shotguns

WASHINGTON (CBS DC) – Annual FBI crime statistics show that more people are killed with clubs and hammers each year than by rifles or shotguns.

In 2011, there were 323 murders committed with a rifle but 496 murders committed with hammers and clubs. There were 356 murders in which a shotgun was the deadly weapon of choice.

And that, in the face of your federal government attempting to take away as many firearms from you — the private citizen — as possible.

There is no other conclusion that one can draw:

The current American government fears the individual armed citizen because it — the government — cannot quite YET enact limiting legislation whilst there are armed citizens in every state.

First: American citizens must be disarmed. Only then can the government enact laws and regulations that will further restrict rights and freedoms — at the behest of the “good of the children” or the “good of the people.”

The “firearm bad” meme is simply false.

Ending the 22nd Amendment: not just specious “Right-Wing conspiracy theories”

It’s fact, it’s right in front of our faces and — yes — desired by the Left. As introduced by Demorat Jose Serrano of NY:

U.S. Rep. Josè Serrano, D-N.Y., once again quietly introduced a resolution that would allow President Obama or any president to serve an unlimited number of terms, according to a report.

According to GovTrack.US, Rep. Serrano introduced House Joint Resolution 15 on Friday. The resolution is described as:

“Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the twenty-second article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President.”

This resolution was assigned to a congressional committee on January 4, 2013, which would have to consider it before it would be sent to the House or Senate.

The bill was a reintroduction of House Joint Resolution 17 presented by Rep. Serrano in 2011. That resolution was never sent to committee.

So: why not allow an unlimited number of presidential terms?

Because, in my opinion, the wants of the bulk of the electorate just became abundantly clear this past November of 2012: give us more state and federal FREE CHEESE. The parasites in the country are, now, roughly numerically on par with the hosts. The producers and the consumers. Taxpayers and non-taxpayers.

The national hard drive has been corrupted: corrupted by the elitist Worms in DC and the spreading Virus of Free Cheese.

Don’t you find it odd that the only persons who want the 22nd Amendment abolished are those on the Left? And don’t you find it odd that the only presidential term under which the bill is introduced is that of Mr Obama’s?

Because, after all, there’s never any veracity to those incredibly crazy and suspect Right Wing Conspiracy Theories.

Is there?

Section 1.

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.

Section 2.

This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several states within seven years from the date of its submission to the states by the Congress.

Ga. mom shoots intruder 5 times in face, hides children

But best yet, let’s have taken the firearm from this mother in Georgia, so that the intruder could have killed or raped her and/or kidnapped her children.

LOGANVILLE, Ga. — A Georgia mother hid her two 9-year-old twins and shot an intruder, Paul Ali Slater, several times during a home invasion on Friday, according to multiple media reports.

The Loganville mother said she didn’t initially answer when someone knocked on her door around 1 p.m. Friday. When the visitor began repeatedly ringing the doorbell, she called her husband at work, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

He then dialed 911 and his 37-year-old wife gathered their 9-year-old twins and hid them in a crawlspace inside the home.

According to the report, the intruder then forced his way into the home and started “rummaging” through the family’s belongings.

When the suspect went into the closet where the family was hiding ,the woman fired six bullets at the suspect, five of which hit alleged suspect Paul Ali Slater in the face and neck area.

“He opens the closet door and finds himself staring down the barrel of a .38 revolver,” Walton County Sheriff Joe Chapman told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The woman fled to a neighbor’s home with her children. The woman and her two children were not injured.

This time, regarding violent entry into a person’s castle, it happens to be a story with a happy ending.

Not so much in the Leftist World, where the mother would have been left cowering in a closet with her children — literally — waiting for whatever the intruder decided to do.

Guns are tools and are frequently used for good, a fact completely ignored by the DEM/AMM.

ROCKLAND COUNTY TIMES EXCLUSIVE:

Armed guards from RGA Investigations have taken up post at the Journal News’ Rockland County headquarters.

Guns are good for the goose but NOT for the gander.

A Clarkstown police report issued on December 28, 2012, confirmed that The Journal News has hired armed security guards from New City-based RGA Investigations and that they are manning the newspaper’s Rockland County headquarters at 1 Crosfield Ave., West Nyack, through at least tomorrow, Wednesday, January 2, 2013.

According to police reports on public record, Journal News Rockland Editor Caryn A. McBride was alarmed by the volume of “negative correspondence,” namely an avalanche of phone calls and emails to the Journal News office, following the newspaper’s publishing of a map of all pistol permit holders in Rockland and Westchester.

Due to apparent safety concerns, the newspaper then decided to hire RGA Investigations to provide armed personnel to man the location.

Rather than take the map down following the public uproar, the executive board at the Journal News has decided to “stick to their guns” and double-down on their original decision, as they have said a map listing all pistol permit holders in Putnam County will soon to be posted.

Imagine that.

This is the same newspaper that thought it prudent to print the names and addresses of persons holding lawful firearms permits in Rockland and Westchester counties in New York state. Thusly placing all those persons in great potential jeopardy.

In reaction, a blogger acquired the personal information of the article’s author as well as the publisher and editors of that newspaper.

Now the newspaper that hates guns — is itself relying upon guns to keep its employees “safe.”

What? You mean there are actual applications for firearms?

You blustering, hypocritical American Media Maggots.

The Journal News has exercised the rights they clearly want to deny everyone else. Their hiring protection for themselves has validated the pure rationale of every single one of those pistol permit holders they demonized by their propaganda piece. Pure Abbott and Costello comedy.

Our Rockland County Legislators are yet again a day late and dollar short by being aimlessly reactive. They know they cannot legislate the press on what not to publish. Pistol Permit holders’ private information is now out there for any miscreant to exploit. That damage is already done.

So, now their kabuki dance to craft some kind of privacy legislation is for show and ineffective, because it will be struck by the 1st Amendment, if it so much as smells like press censorship.

By next fiscal quarter, the Journal News will soon be obliged to make a business decision, when their product demand, will be measured by the consumer need, to line the bottom of bird cages.

What our community needs to seriously reconsider is a security experts review of this so called school lock down policy.

We will eventually discover that the Newton, Ct. school massacre was enabled by a counter-intuitive policy that huddled victims into a corral for slaughter, instead of crafting an escape and evasion plan.

The Newton, CT. investigation has yet to disclose any findings that can explain why it happened. Judging from the inconsistent reporting, they have yet to disclose precisely what happened. We need to be prepared to stop the next one.

Clearly, the answer is no where near the hysteria driven agenda of grabbing guns from the law abiding to protect us from the evil possessed, intent on mass murder.

Al Gore sells Current TV to Al-Jazeera — for a $100 MILLION profit

Yes, you read that correctly.

Al Gore’s “Current TV,” which was a fiscal and business joke, and sufficiently Left that it didn’t make money and was hemorrhaging cash (just like Air America), was just sold to a Muslim terrorist-endorsing “news organization.”

Former Vice President Al Gore has made himself a much, much richer man by selling his little watched cable channel Current TV to the Emir of Qatar-funded Arab news channel Al-Jazeera.

Gore netted $100 million with his 20 percent stake in the network when it was sold for a reported $500 million on Wednesday.

Al-Jazeera plans to euthanize the struggling, seven-year-old Current TV and turn it into Al-Jazeera America by adding five to 10 new U.S. bureaus beyond the five it has now. More than half of its content will be U.S. news, and the network will have its headquarters in New York, according to a rep.

Yes. Al Jazeera paid half a BILLION dollars for an American network, in order to insinuate itself into 40 million homes.

These are our petro-dollars coming back at us, to target us, to kill us, to help mainstream Middle Eastern Islamic TERRORISTS. This is a purposeful attempt to make Islam appear docile and friendly for those Americans who are brain dead. Which is, by the way, now the bulk of Americans. Check their vote in November.

Make no mistake, and let me be perfectly blunt (it’s what I do):

Al Gore is nothing more than a traitor to the nation, who sold his soul — and that of America — for cash. He is a traitor and a whore.

Further: he refused to sell to Glenn Beck for ideological reasons.

Here’s another point: Gore PURPOSELY tried to sell Current TV prior to the end of the year — because he didn’t want to pay the taxes imposed after January 1st of 2013. That was clear and simple tax avoidance.

Al: it’s your DUTY to pay more taxes! Haven’t you gotten the Progressive Memo? Thankfully, you now will. Aaaaaah. . .much better. Yes?

One bright light: Time Warner Cable dropped Current TV directly following the sale:

“Our agreement with Current has been terminated and we will no longer be carrying the service. We are removing the service as quickly as possible,” the company said in a statement.

But how long can Time Warner hold out against the AMM/DEM?
