I’m at work today, but in celebration of this day, I recommend reading the information at these links:
The Declaration of Independence.
The US Constitution.
The Bill of Rights.
The Federalist Papers.
When in doubt, always, always go back to the basics.
God bless America, the last and best supporter of freedom on the planet and, as always, an experiment in progress.
Today’s government, unfortunately, confiscates your rights and then sells them back to you via taxes and blood. The greatest threat to this country and its American Taxpayer is not Islam or Right Wing radicals and soldiers — as the federal government would have you believe. It is that government itself.

Correct.
Here is one excellent example illustrating the lack of fence efficacy or necessity; I think it’s time for this fence to come down and its perimeter simply patrolled by technology, a smattering of uniformed USSS officers and the presumed good will of potential intruders, don’t you? Really, what problems could intruders truly create? It’s not like they mean any actual harm — and each one could be a potential voter for the current occupant.
After all, if it’s good enough for our southern border which is under federal control, it’s good enough for the White House, which is also under federal control, is it not?

One of my very favorite authors, Vince Flynnn self-published his first book, “Term Limits,” in 1997 after 60 rejections, then had it picked up by Pocket Books where it was issued in hardback. He had written 14 books in all, with a 15th, “The Survivor,” slated to come out in hardback in November.
Mr Flynn wrote mostly about his character Mitch Rapp, an under-cover CIA counter-terrorism agent. Flynn was very accurate in his writings and had insight into the game plans of covert activities. His writing was so accurate that DC became concerned.
On February 1, 2011, in his fan newsletter, Flynn announced that he was being treated for advanced Stage III prostate cancer. He found himself able to write, recently, roughly an hour a day.
He passed away, today, in a St. Paul, Minnesota hospital, surrounded with over thirty family members and friends.
Today is a sad day.
