House Majority Leader Eric Cantor: defeated by TEA Party economics professor

From FoxNews.com:

Cantor upset in Virginia GOP primary by Tea Party-backed challenger

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor lost his GOP Virginia primary race to Tea Party-backed challenger Dave Brat Tuesday night in a stunning upset.

Brat, an economics professor and political novice, latched onto the hot-button issue of immigration, accusing Cantor, the No. 2 Republican in the GOP-led House, of supporting immigration legislation that would give “amnesty” to millions of people living illegally in the United States.

Illegal Immigrants Love the USHere, by the way, is what some of those loving illegal immigrants think of the United States of America and the help they are receiving from the nation — above.

The upset sent shock waves across Capitol Hill with speculation about whether Cantor would resign his leadership post and if any Republican incumbent would now dare to support immigration reform. Cantor aides did not respond Tuesday when asked if the 51-year-old would launch a write-in campaign in November.

So: is this a “one-off” exception, or the beginning of a trend?

Illegal Immigrants Secure Border

Amnesty, illegal Mexicans and invaders, the GOP and reality: a review

DumpingILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS FLOODING THE U.S.

The USBP is disposing of illegal Mexicans and South American invaders into New Mexico and Texas towns with this advice: “go home.”  Like you’d kick over a garbage can.

Sure they will.  They’ll go right home.  Because they so obeyed our laws in the first place.

The USBP is dumping illegals at bus stations in Phoenix, Arizona, where it is 110 degrees, according to one of my sources.  He states: “It is effing insane.”  I completely agree.

One place to begin:

Brewer to Obama: Stop ‘unconscionable’ policy of dumping illegal immigrants in Ariz. cities

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer is urging President Obama to put a stop to the “dangerous and unconscionable” practice of shipping illegal immigrants out of Texas and dumping them in her state.

After reports first surfaced last week that scores of illegal immigrants in Texas were being flown, bused and then abandoned out of state in Arizona and elsewhere, Brewer sent a scathing letter to the president posing a string of questions about the policy.

Urging the president ultimately to end the program, Brewer complained her administration was never notified by the federal government and only learned about the practice from the media.

“This unwarranted operation is another disturbing example of a deliberate failure to enforce border security policies and repair a broken immigration system,” she wrote.

Brewer, in her letter, voiced the concerns that both sides of the aisle have aired about the practice — that it not only burdens states like Arizona but raises humanitarian concerns. She noted reports that many of those being released are women and children, and that they are being abandoned without food or water.

“I remind you that the daytime temperatures in Arizona during this time of year are regularly more than 100 degrees,” she wrote. “Consequently, this federal operation seems to place expediency over basic humanitarian concerns.”

Of course, various “humanitarian” agencies had to step in on behalf of the US Government, which created the problem in the first place.  Truly kind people didn’t want to see women and small children and infants left homeless and in confusion on American streets.

This paragraph:

Most of the families apprehended so far in Texas have been flown to Arizona and dropped off by the busload at stations in Phoenix and Tucson. They’ve also been sent to New York and Maryland.

Why?  No one asks why?  Why are they being dropped in within the United States and not deported into Mexico and their countries of origin?  Why are they being dropped off farther and farther from their border of origin?

Then, this paragraph:

To that end, Obama on Monday described the surge in children crossing the border as an “urgent humanitarian situation,” appointing FEMA head Craig Fugate to lead an effort addressing the crisis. The White House is also seeking an additional $1.4 billion from Congress to deal with the influx.

An “urgent humanitarian situation”?  Are you fucking kidding me?  This situation was CREATED, Mr Obama, by YOU and YOUR federal government.  In terms of: NOT doing your jobs.  You created this exigency — then you decry its existence.

I repeat: this is insanity writ large and rampant.

Let me now provide an overview of this situation:

From the UKDailyMail.com:

Obama’s two-year ‘amnesty’ for illegal immigrant minors sparks TWELVE-FOLD spike in numbers pouring across border

The details then come:
  • A San Antonio Air Force base, a California Navy base, and a makeshift detention center in Nogales, Arizona have become temporary shelters for children and youths caught crossing the border without their parents
  • Republicans blame the Obama administration for the problem, citing a 2012 policy that relaxed deportations
  • It’s ‘an administration-made disaster,’ says the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee
  • President Obama now concedes that it’s an ‘urgent humanitarian situation’ and is setting aside $2 million to pay lawyers for the children
  • The US government expects as many as 80,000 child immigrants to illegally enter the US this year, a twelve-fold jump in just three years
  • More than 33,000 have been picked up in Texas since October; the Arizona facility has ordered 2,000 mattresses to handle its overload
  • ‘Instead of having an application of the immigration law, we are taking mothers and children and dumping them,’ another claimed
  • A federal judge castigated the Obama administration in December, saying it was ‘completing the criminal mission’ of human traffickers
The US Government created the situation and now decries its existence as an abhorrence.

But worse yet: the GOP takes up the Demorat ball and runs with it in terms of ‘AMNESTY” for illegal invaders from other countries:

Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) and Paul Ryan (R-WI) both want amnesty for illegal invaders and they make no bones about it.  They think the time is both right and ripe.

From Breitbart.com:

There’s only a few weeks left until the summer recess swallows Congress’ legislative agenda for 2014, but a group of key Republicans haven’t given up immigration quite yet.

Helping guide a secretive effort to informally gauge support for legislative action on the issue before August are two expected names: Reps. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) and Paul Ryan (R-WI).

But joining them is a young conservative lawmaker whose efforts on the issue have shocked conservative power brokers and prompted a behind-the-scenes backlash.

“Absolutely,” Rep. Mick Mulvaney (R-SC) told Breitbart News, “I have been talking about immigration with my colleagues for months. Talking about important issues is part of my job.”

Isn’t it nice to know that the GOP is actively working behind your back to disable the Rule of Law in the United States of America?

Then this from TownHall.com:

After Leaked Photos Expose Unaccompanied Child Crisis, Border Patrol Agents Threatened With Firings

by Katie Pavlich

Last week, photos surfaced from Texas and Arizona showing Border Patrol processing centers overwhelmed as thousands of unaccompanied children from Central America continue to need shelter and resources. The photos show hundreds of children sleeping in crowded, chain linked cages. Agents have described the situation as a humanitarian crisis.

In response to the leaked images out of Arizona, Patrol Agent in Charge Leslie Lawson is cracking down on the use of personal technology by agents in the Nogales Border Patrol processing center.

“Due to the recent unauthorized use of a personally owned electronic device in the Nogales Processing Center, the use of such devices will be restricted to locations outside of detention areas,” Lawson wrote in a June 6 memo to all employees at the Nogales station. “Effective immediately, the use of personally owned cellular phones, cameras, or recording devices in the Nogales Detention Facility and the Nogales Processing Center is strictly prohibited. All personnel working or visiting detention facilities at the Nogales Station will be required to turn off these electronic devices and store them in a locker other secure location prior to entering the detention area.”

According to sources, agents have been threatened with firings if found to have leaked the photos to media.

Do the Logical Extension.

I’m sure you can.

P.S.

The Obama Administration is lying about how it lied about themes originally.

Just when you think things have gotten beyond ridiculous, it’s moreso: “Americans now ‘racist’ for waving American flag”

Mex_Flag_flying_over_US_flagAmericans now ‘racist’ for waving American flag.

‘What’s wrong with these white people?’

by Bob Unruh

Americans now are being blasted as “racist” for the simple act of waving an American flag.

It happened Monday in California to a small group of protesters who waved U.S. flags in front of a school where officials had banned the practice to avoid violence threatened by Hispanic students celebrating Cinco de Mayo.

Let me be clear: many Mexicans call the 5th of May “Cinco de Gringo,” because it’s more revered by Caucasoids than Mexicans.

The controversy brought a small group of protesters out Monday, and the community reacted immediately.

“What’s wrong with these white people holding up American flags in Morgan hill??? Racist a–holes,” wrote Gia Lee in a feed monitored by Twitchy.

The report also noted the school superintendent was confirming that students wearing American flag-themed shirts on Monday “won’t be kicked out.”

“Read that sentence again and then cringe at the fact that had to be said in the United States,” the Twitchy report said.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported a group called Gilroy-Morgan Hill Patriots stood in front of Live Oak High School for about an hour waving American flags.

The protest followed the decision earlier this year by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals that school officials, in a dispute four years ago, were right to suspend the First Amendment rights of students who wanted to wear U.S. flag-themed shirts on Cinco de Mayo.

How sad that people have to cringe in fear of negative labeling by embracing the flag of their nation.

Meaning: Mexicans refuse to embrace the flag of the nation they now live in and benefit from.  Truly, that is the issue here, nothing else.

Not the French, not Indonesians, not Filipinos, not Puerto Ricans, not Ethiopians, not Danes, not Icelanders, not Ukrainians, not Chileans, not Chinese.

Mexicans.

Let me remind all that Mexicans are actually South American Indians and speak Spanish because their country was conquered by Spain.  They don’t speak Aztec or Toltec or Mayan.  Mexicans speak Spanish.

One nice, embracing comment:

“F— your American flag. Racist as f—s. I’ll always have pride with my Mexican flag but not the American one,” wrote Ivan Mora.

Let me make this abundantly clear, so that I repeat:

“F— your American flag. Racist as f—s. I’ll always have pride with my Mexican flag but not the American one,” wrote Ivan Mora.

The case centers on a decision made on May 5, 2010, by Assistant Principal Miguel Rodriguez. During a break, Rodriguez told several school students they were not allowed to wear U.S. flag shirts. He allegedly told them that he had received complaints from some Hispanic students about the flag apparel, and the students were not allowed to wear clothing that would offend them.

Offense.  Wearing an American flag shirt qualifies as offensive.

Whilst, simultaneously, Mexicans embrace Mexico but not the country they currently inhabit.

Please read the full story here.

It is a sad, sad state of affairs.  America is now turned completely upside down.

But I submit: not for very much longer.

Oh goodie — “Senator: Non-English Speakers Qualify for Disability Benefits More Quickly”

Illegal Mexican SignI’m not necessarily a great fan of the TEA Party, as the TEA Party abandoned me in a similar fashion to the GOP.  Like a broken clock, however, they are occasionally correct and, with that, I submit they are correct here  —  to a degree — as displayed on their website.

Disability Enrollees Increased by 230 Percent

by Elizabeth Harrington

(Free Beacon) – The inability to speak English is now considered a determining factor to receive federal disability benefits.

Ranking Member of the Senate Budget Committee Jeff Sessions (R., Ala.) sent a letter obtained exclusively by the Free Beacon to Acting Commissioner of the Social Security Administration Carolyn Colvin on Thursday, raising concerns regarding revelations that individuals who cannot speak English are fast-tracked for disability approval.

“I write to express my concerns about the expanding number of individuals now qualified for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI), and to raise a specific issue, the basis for many of these individuals’ disability classification, where the inability to speak English is a determinative factor,” Sessions said.

Meaning: Mexicans predominantly acquire a priority over actual American citizens born in this country.  And the noted disability is their alleged inability to speak English.

This kind of stragedy is indeed defeatist, for the individual, for liberties and for the nation.

Check this out:

The Social Security Act allows for the consideration of education when deciding if an individual is disabled. “The education factor is not limited to actual education as it relates to schooling, but includes a linguistic limitation on the ability to communicate in the English language,” Sessions said.

According to the Act, “Since the ability to speak, read and understand English is generally learned or increased at school, we may consider this an educational factor.”

Meaning: if you’re too uninterested or stupid to speak English — or too plottingly and cunningly crafty — federal rules shall fall by the wayside for you like pearls before parasites.

It gets better yet — your hard-earned American tax dollars at work:

Social Security Administrative Law Judge Drew A. Swank also testified that, “there is no burden of proof placed on the individual to demonstrate an inability to communicate in English” at hearings.

In addition, the Hearings Appeal and Litigation Law Manual (HALLEX) requires that “an interpreter be provided at the request of a claimant, even if the claimant is capable of speaking English.”

“This makes it difficult for an Administrative Law Judge to adequately determine English proficiency,” Sessions said. “Once an interpreter is provided, the claimant, perhaps under instructions from his lawyer, never speaks a word of English at the hearing.”

Imagine that.

The American Taxpayer fleeced by the federal government, and then fleeced again.

A final factor to consider:

“The population of the United States grew by 9.7 percent between 2000 and 2010, but the number of SSDI applications grew by 230 percent,” Sessions noted.

230%!  Why might that be?

Anything to do with the inability to find a job due to the onerous regulations and abysmal economic policies foisted upon Americans by Mr Obama?  Bueller?

With nothing left, an application to SSDI — and easy approvals in mind?

Hmm.  I wonder.  .  .

Sen. Sessions: ‘Deliberate Plan by President’ to Collapse U.S. Law Enforcement System

Cruz-on-obamas-lawsFrom CNSNews.com:

by Craig Bannister

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) said today that Americans need to stand up to “a deliberate plan by the president of the United States” to collapse the nation’s law enforcement system regarding illegal immigration.

“Our law enforcement system is in a state of collapse, and it’s a deliberate plan by the president of the United States, and it’s wrong. And, people need to be aware of it and need to stand up to it and I believe the American people are beginning to do so.”

“So, you come into the country illegally and the attorney general of the United States declares that these individuals have a civil right to amnesty. How can this possibly be: the chief law enforcement officer in America?

I believe those are entirely viable comments for Mr Sessions to make.

Then, of course, there is this:

Hoping for Asylum, Migrants Strain U.S. Border

by Julia Preston

HIDALGO, Tex. — Border Patrol agents in olive uniforms stood in broad daylight on the banks of the Rio Grande, while on the Mexican side smugglers pulled up in vans and unloaded illegal migrants.

The agents were clearly visible on that recent afternoon, but the migrants were undeterred. Mainly women and children, 45 in all, they crossed the narrow river on the smugglers’ rafts, scrambled up the bluff and turned themselves in, signaling a growing challenge for the immigration authorities.

The migrants are no longer primarily Mexican laborers. Instead they are Central Americans, including many families with small children and youngsters without their parents, who risk a danger-filled journey across Mexico. Driven out by deepening poverty but also by rampant gang violence, increasing numbers of migrants caught here seek asylum, setting off lengthy legal procedures to determine whether they qualify.

We are on our way towards not being a nation of laws, but a nation of conveniences and entitlements — expected now by persons not born on our soil.

This is a dangerous path to tread.  What occurs when other venues of persons decide, on their own, which laws they will or will not obey?  What happens, thanks to the Obama Administration’s non-handling of and disinterest in holding the IRS accountable — for example — when people have no confidence in the IRS and decide to no longer voluntarily comply?

This is, again, a dangerous path to tread.
