Rubio: Legalize Illegal Immigrants So They Can Fund Border Security

Legalization For AllHonest.  I swear.  I had another post envisioned for Saturday but, when I came across this article at Breitbart.com, it got kicked to the curb because — in concert with my Thursday post — Republicans seem to be displaying the intelligence contained within the pot of an average houseplant this week.

On Thursday, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) said one reason illegal immigrants must be legalized as soon as possible is so they can help fund border security measures by paying taxes and fines. 

During an interview on “The Andrea Tantaros Show,” Rubio, as Byron York points out, first said there was no choice but to legalize at least 11 million illegal immigrants because he said the country “cannot wait another four years” to enact immigration reform.

He then said illegal immigrants needed to be registered “as soon as possible” so the fines they pay into the system help fund border security programs. 

“We need to register them as soon as possible, not just to keep the problem from getting worse, but we’re going to require them to pay a fine, and that’s the money that we are going to use to pay for the border security,” Rubio, said, according to York. “If we don’t get that fine money from the people that have violated our immigration laws, then the American taxpayer is going to have to pay for border security.”

Does anyone besides the ol’ BZ see any kind of a problem with this urgent registration?

For those amongst us who need a bit of a nudge and a prompt, let me suggest this:

Illegal immigrants are, by their very nature, law breakers.  It’s why they fall under the category of, uh, “illegal.”  Hello?  Definitions?  Words?  Actual meanings?

So what it is about the nature of Illegal immigrants that Mr Rubio thinks will somehow suddenly yield lawful activity?

As in, magically willing to be “fined”?

Because here’s the alternative to “fined:” they can simply continue to do what they currently do best.  Exist as illegals under the radar and still stay in the country to work or conduct illegal activities or stick their proboscis into the vital and nutrient-rich streams of social welfare.

In conclusion, allow me to refine the words Mr Rubio leaves unrefined: illegal Mexicans.  Mexicans are from Mexico, a nation conquered by Spain, which is why they speak Spanish and not Urdu or Swahili.  The United States is not suffering from an illegal tide of French or, say, those from Eritrea or Luxembourg or Vatican City.  Mexicans.  Illegal Mexicans.

So let’s just do what I call the Logical Extension, Mr Rubio.  Illegal Mexicans have no real motivation to “pay fines” if the status quo does not change.  And where will you get these fines, pray tell, when lawbreakers decide it’s not in their best fiscal interest to “obey” said laws?

With finality: yes.  The American Taxpayer.

Coulter: “IF THE GOP IS THIS STUPID, IT DESERVES TO DIE”

Democrats terrify Hispanics into thinking they’ll be lynched if they vote for Republicans, and then turn around and taunt Republicans for not winning a majority of the Hispanic vote. This line of attack has real resonance with our stupidest Republicans. (Proposed Republican primary targets: Sens. Kelly Ayotte, Jeff Flake, Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio.) Which explains why Republicans are devoting all their energy to slightly increasing their share of the Hispanic vote while alienating everyone else in America.

It must be fun for liberals to manipulate Republicans into focusing on hopeless causes. Why don’t Democrats waste their time trying to win the votes of gun owners?

As journalist Steve Sailer recently pointed out, the Hispanic vote terrifying Republicans isn’t that big. It actually declined in 2012. The Census Bureau finally released the real voter turnout numbers from the last election, and the Hispanic vote came in at only 8.4 percent of the electorate — not the 10 percent claimed by the pro-amnesty crowd.

It puzzled me years ago and it puzzles me now; why is it Republicans believe that in order to win votes they must abandon their Conservative principles, cede power and then refuse to wield said power when they find themselves in the majority of Congress?

Recall effort against Arizona’s Sheriff Joe Arpaio fails

TUCSON — Despite a recent court ruling that the department run by Maricopa County’s top cop used racial profiling in his quest to crack down on illegal immigration, a recall effort against Sheriff Joe Arpaio has failed.

On Thursday, members of Respect Arizona and Citizens for a Better Arizona — who launched the recall effort against Arpaio — failed to gather the necessary 335,000 valid voter signatures by the 5 p.m. deadline. The aim was to force a recall election.

Activists behind the recall effort would not say how many signatures they were short. Randy Parraz, president of Citizens for Better Arizona, only said the two groups had collected close to 300,000 signatures.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who dares to do the job that the federal government is mandated to do but refuses, was re-elected last November — making him a six-term Sheriff.

And by the way:

“Arpaio has promised to appeal the ruling.”

Excellent.

Swedish “youths” riot in Stockholm: a euphemism for Muslims

Swedish police seek reinforcements after youths set ablaze cars and attack property and schools in poorer suburbs of capital

Police in Stockholm are to seek reinforcements after youths set cars ablaze and threw stones at police for a fifth night running, officials said.

About 30 cars were set on fire in poorer districts in north-western and south-western parts of the Swedish capital on Thursday night, with rioters causing widespread damage to property, including schools. However, a police spokesman said the overnight violence was less intense than in previous nights.

Euphemism: “youths.”  But inquiring minds might well ask — actual journalists — who are these “youths”?  They are portrayed as “immigrants.”  But what kind of immigrants?

What the rest of the media isn’t telling you: they are predominantly Muslim, and male.

And they’re not much interested in assimilating; they are, however, interested in remaining in enclaves.

That they don’t necessarily wish to assimilate, to integrate, to learn a new language and a new culture, that is, I submit, not the fault of the Swedes.  It is, however, their problem to solve.

Does this sound like a quagmire encountered by most all westernized countries?  I would submit: yes.

And let me take it one step further: it is not the host country’s job to assimilate the immigrant’s former country.

Let this statement percolate about a bit in your wheelhouse:

“In the old days, the neighbourhood was more Swedish and life felt like a dream, but now there are just too many foreigners, and a new generation that has grown up here with just their own culture,” he said, gesturing towards the hooded youths milling around in Husby’s pedestrianised shopping precinct.

“Also, in Sweden you cannot hit your children to discipline them, and this is a problem for foreign parents. The kids can feel they can cause whatever trouble they want, and the police don’t even arrest any of them most of the time.”

I think that person hit it home.

That said, this column absolutely nails the issue.  Read it carefully:

“Sweden has been trying harder than any of the countries in Europe to try to push for integration. We have invested virtually billions from taxpayers’ money into it, we have tried everything that the scientists have presented – and still it’s not working,”

“They live in their area, and they feel the area is their own. And when the police arrive, they feel they are you intruding into their, sort of, ‘country.’ The police… who work in these areas, there have to be in two cars, one protecting the other. People are trying to maintain buildings, to have security guards, the fire department can’t work, they get attacked by angry immigrant youth that feel like they’re intruding into their own area, even though they’re trying to help,”  the chairman of the Sweden’s National Democrats Party Marc Abramsson told RT.

The Truth In Stockholm: “They Don’t Want To Integrate”

Youth gang Muslim riots in the Swedish capital Stockholm have entered fifth straight night. Hundreds of mostly immigrant teenagers (?)  tore through the suburbs, smashing windows and burning cars in the country’s worst outbreak of violence in years.

Obama Blames U.S. For Gun Violence In Mexico

“Most of the guns used to commit violence here in Mexico come from the United States,” President Obama said during a speech at Mexico’s Anthropology Museum.

Unspoken was the fact that those so-called “deadly guns in Mexico” also sourced from the US government itself, via the “Fast & Furious” program under BATFE.  Univision in Mexico also discovered additional information about how the US government more fully armed the Mexican drug cartels.  Thank you, Mr Obaka, for your lies spewed directly upon the sovereign soil of Mexico on Friday.  A refresher for us all:

As with all else on the planet, whatever ill that occurs is the responsibility and fault of the United States of America.
Yes, the US is the root cause of all gang violence in Mexico.  Yes, the US is the root cause of all the gun violence in Mexico.  Yes, the US is the root cause of all the poverty in Mexico.  Yes, the US is the root cause of anyone in Mexico having a firearm in their possession.  If Mexico wanted to stop foreign gun violence, perhaps they should build their own firearms manufacturing facilities.  Then the drug cartels could take over these factories for their own ends and simply cut out the middle man.Let’s take a step back.  Ultimately, what is Mr Obama doing here?  I say it is this:

He is speaking directly to the new voters of the United States.  He is speaking directly to the new Tit-Sucking Underclass about to be created when amnesty occurs, and when Illegal Mexicans are allowed to be seated on juries and decide criminal and civil cases involving their drug-dealing and law-violating friends.

Because, you must ask, just how will these new Mexicans vote when amnesty passes and they remain in the United States, and when Obama and the Demorats continue to provide Free Cheese?  Why yes, that would be correct: Demorat.

Mr Obama was doing nothing more, on Friday in Mexico, than speaking to his newest conglomerate of voters.

More apologism, more breast-beating, more America bashing in order to pander and subjugate the country for the demographically-increasing Mexican Illegal Invader vote.

I feel comforted.
