The new requirements for Canadian Citizenship are now in force. The changes to the Canadian Citizenship Act, the most comprehensive in more than 35 years, make it much harder and more costly to become a Citizen of Canada.

One of the most important changes is the requirement that an individual must now physically reside in Canada for 4 years over a 6-year qualifying period.

The fees for obtaining Canadian Citizenship have been increased to $630 per adult application and $200 for a minor.

A summary of the main changes include the following:

  • Applicants must be permanent residents of Canada for at least 1,460 days (four years) during the six years before the date of their application.
  • Applicants must be physically present in Canada for at least 183 days in each of 4-years within the 6-year qualifying period.
  • Applicants are required to provide extensive proof of actual residence in Canada.
  • Applicants between the ages of 14 and 64 must meet basic knowledge and language requirements.
  • Adult applicants must declare their intent to reside in Canada once they become citizens.
  • To help improve program integrity, there are now stronger penalties for fraud and misrepresentation (to a maximum fine of $100,000 and/or up to five years in prison).
  • Only lawyers or notaries (including paralegals and students at law) or members of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC), can be paid to provide citizenship applicants with representation or advice.
  • The new law no longer considers time spent in Canada as a non-permanent resident (non-PR) for most applicants.
  • Expansion of criminal prohibitions to bar applicants for crimes committed abroad.
  • Gives the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Canada the authority to refuse an application if applicant commits fraud.
  • Gives Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Canada authority to decide on most revocation cases.
  • Complex revocation cases such as war crimes, crimes against humanity, security, other human or international rights violations, and organized criminality will be decided by the Federal Court.
  • Establishes authority to define what constitutes a complete application and what evidence applicants must provide.
  • Changes citizenship to a single-step process for most applications.  CIC aims to reduce duplication and improve processing times.
  • Requires adult applicants to file Canadian income taxes, if required under the Income Tax Act, to be eligible for citizenship.
  • Authority to revoke Canadian citizenship from dual citizens who served as members of an armed force of a country or an organized armed group engaged in armed conflict with Canada.
  • Authority to revoke Canadian citizenship from dual citizens who are convicted of terrorism, high treason, treason, or spying offences, depending on the sentence received.
  • Authority to deny Canadian citizenship to permanent residents who served as members of an armed force of a country or an organized armed group engaged in armed conflict with Canada or who are convicted of terrorism, high treason or spying offenses.
  • Applicants can be refused for misrepresenting or withholding material facts on applications and are subsequently barred from being granted citizenship for five years.
  • Citizenship will be automatically extended to additional “Lost Canadians” effective June 11th 2015, who were born before 1947, and did not become citizens on January 1, 1947 when the first Canadian Citizenship Act came into effect. This will also apply to their children born in the first generation outside Canada.
  • Creates a fast-track mechanism for citizenship for individuals serving or on exchange with the Canadian Armed Forces to honour their service to Canada.

The insanity of Leftists on Trump’s win

This video is almost too much to watch all the way through. But it’s illustrative of the length to which some people will go to demonize conservatives, the GOP or anyone who isn’t a Demorat.

This is simple insanity but important to show because Demorats and blacks are self-enforcing in terms of their insistence on being monolithic. Some day black Americans will learn that Demorats have been, historically as now, their worst slave-masters.

One reaction to the release of the video is this:

“Apparently, she thought it would be clever to videotape herself abusing him and kicking him out of her home. The cries and pleas from this little boy to his ‘mother’ begging her to let him stay are absolutely heartbreaking! Hopefully, this video will help the proper authorities to identify her and help her young son to find a safe and hate-free environment in which to live.”

The video has, not surprisingly, gone viral. A somewhat similar situation occurred following a school election in Texas.

Leftists have no shame, few values, no moral compass, no sense of proportion, no rationality, no conscience, no logic and little sense of direction save perhaps that of nihilism or base anarchy simply for its appeal, comfort and mob popularity. We get this because few people in life have ever told these people NO, up to and including their parents (if even both parents exist in the same household) and law enforcement.

Concurrently, there have been overt Donald Trump assassination advocates on social media, to include Twitter, who have attached their names to their threats. Some of the ones I encountered were forwarded, rightly so, to the US Secret Service. Others include:

Additionally, in that peaceful, tolerant, all-inclusive northwestern enclave of mostly-Caucasoid Portland, Oregon, its resident Leftists thought it would be an excellent idea to terrorize lone women in cars in order to demonstrate their hostility to the election of Donald Trump. She had a nice car and obviously a job, so it was her turn to take the brunt of violent impulses from petulant Leftists (where was Portland PD?). Watch:

Mr Obama needs to step in and step up, telling these rioters and felons that they are accomplishing nothing and that, should they choose not to stop, the National Guard will be called for each affected city. But of course he will not because he fundamentally believes that America deserves all of this and more. This goes far beyond simple free speech, protest and the exercising of one’s rights. This was and is organized anarchy.

Enough, Leftists, enough.

A Wisconsin lawmaker has introduced a bill in Congress that would require those seeking tax deductions to undergo drug tests as a response to nationwide efforts by Republicans to drug test social welfare recipients.

Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Wis.) introduced the Top 1% Accountability Act on Thursday requiring all those claiming itemized deductions in any year over $150,000 to undergo drug tests or take lower standard deductions. The Guardian points out the requirement would only fall on households with a yearly federal adjusted gross income of more than $1m.

The bill is a retort to Republicans in several states including Wisconsin where the recipients of certain welfare benefits have to undergo drug tests. In Wisconsin, Gov. Scott Walker signed off on a rule in November to start drug testing welfare recipients and is currently suing the federal government to drug test food stamp recipients, as federal law prohibits states from imposing any additional eligibility conditions on food stamp recipients. He has even approved a rule which requires those seeking unemployment benefits to undergo drug tests. Walker has defended the requirements, saying they help ensure a drug free workforce.

And further, it ensures that for those who want Moar Free Cheese have at least some form of accountability.

But accountability is absolutely anathema to Leftists.  This cannot be tolerated in the slightest.

“Free” should mean free of any responsibilities whatsoever.

Leftists make no differential between those who pay into the system — hosts — versus those who do nothing but take from the system — parasites.

No dispute exists that there are literally generational families who have done nothing but take from the system.  Real, actual, honest human beings want to get off the System of Suck and become independent themselves.  Generational parasites, enabled and promoted by Leftists and Demorats, not only do not desire independence but seek greater amounts of Free Cheese.

Then claim “victim status” when they are challenged.

When one receives Moar Free Cheese from the federal government — or a state or local government — there should necessarily be an attached responsibility for same.  That something so simple as to be unaddicted is so vehemently challenged merely proves the depth and breadth of entitlement expectations in this country.

To the point where, as regaled above, the ridiculous, the Kabuki Theater, the insane, intrudes.  Proffered by Leftists.  When it’s stupid, when it’s unsustainable, when it’s beyond politically correct, when it’s dangerous, when it’s morally wrong, you can be guaranteed it’s an idea from Demorats and Leftists.

Again, the federal government believes, and worse, acts as though the dollars you make belong not to you, but to them, absolutely and incontrovertibly.

There are parasites in this nation who not only do not pay taxes, they acquire refund checks from the government.  The nation has already reached a point where 45.3% pay no federal income tax whatsoever.  Can you say “tipping point”?

Ladies and gentlemen, there are bad times coming.  I suspect civil unrest; perhaps severe civil unrest.  Just how that unrest is addressed and adjudicated will point the clear path for the future of this country.  I believe it is not bombastic or immoderate to suggest that the fate of our nation will be decided in the next two years.

420 Revelers At Golden Gate Park Leave Behind Tons Of Trash

SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) – Crews were out in force at Golden Gate Park early Thursday morning, cleaning up trash left behind by thousands of marijuana smokers who converged on Hippie Hill for the annual 420 celebration.

Workers with the Recreation and Park Department arrived at 6:00 a.m. to continue a cleanup that began after the so-called “Smokeout” ended. While the celebration was mostly peaceful, revelers left behind at least 10,000 pounds of garbage.

Wait.  I thought all these young Millennials cared about the planet — particularly considering that “Earth Day” is tomorrow.  They want to save the earth, recycle, worship Gaia, save the forests, hug a pine, coddle a weed — then smoke it.

Yes, the loving embrace of Eco-Leftists.

Who think that it’s perfectly fine to let City of San Francisco “underlings” clean up their trash.  What?  You expect us to clean up our trash??  We are better than that.  We’re special.  Mommy and Daddy told us that.

“Laborers” can go to hell.  We don’t “labor.”

We’re too wrapped up in SELF and DOPE.
