I can’t help but think that the MSM/DEM is doing its level best, along with the standard GOP Establishment, to immure in stone the “frontrunner” for Republicans in 2012: Mitt Romney. So many media outlets, great and small, are attempting to say “it’s all over” but the crying. Romney’s “the guy.” Period.
So, when Chris Christie endorses Mitt Romney, is the GOP field essentially “done”? And, moreover, what does Chris Christie get out of it? A cabinet appointment? A VP spot?
When I think and consider the current GOP fleet, I keep coming back to Herman Cain.
He’s not perfect; not by any means. No candidate can possibly be.
But I like him for a few salient reasons: he’s actually had to meet a payroll. He’s pulled himself individually up by his bootstraps. He’s bought into and invested himself into a Capitalist paradigm. And he’s not a politician. Many people have said, in his denigration: “he’s NOT a politician!”
And I respond: “So dedicated politicians have done what for us?” Why is it that we hold politicians on another elevated level entirely?
Harry Belafonte, the ancient and addled non-factored entertainer, says:
The Republican party, the tea party, all those forces to the extreme right have consistently tried to come up with representations for what they call black, what they call the real Negroes,” he said, naming former Secretaries of State Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell as examples. “They’re heroes for some people. But for a lot of us, they’re not. Herman Cain is just the latest incarnation of what is totally false for the needs of our community and the needs of our nation. I think he’s a bad apple. And people should look at his hole card. He’s not what he says he is.”
It would appear that the various and sundry Occupy ______ groups of Leftists, Marxists and Socialists are, themselves, idiots, parrots and now: racists.

(THE BLAZE) — It is becoming less and less clear who, or what, the string of “occupy” protesters really represent.
At an Occupy Atlanta event Friday night, the cult-like group of demonstrators refused to allow U.S. Congressman and Civil Rights Icon John Lewis to speak to the crowd.
The mob dictatorship chose to not give the Congressman the time of day because allowing him to speak was not supported by a consensus. At 8:35 of this video (above) from ConservARTive.com covering the disturbing quorum, the mob silences several crowd members attempting to apoligize to Rep. Lewis.
In the above video — and the one I posted on Saturday involving Frances Fox Piven at the Occupy Wall Street protest — you can hear the crowd chanting and parroting the words of the speaker. Isn’t it odd, I posit, how all those who wish to bleat their individuality instead baa-baa-baa the same words of the speakers at these protests, like the little robotic drones in which they so thoughtfully, conveniently and truthfully portray themselves.
Though the “Occupy ____” protesters not only don’t quite know what they specifically want, they unveil themselves for what they are: vapid, mindless, sheepish and racist rabble whose three primary words, above everything else, reveal their foundation: MORE FOR ME.
A question posed for all the “Occupiers”: just how many jobs have you seen created for you by poor people?
As I wrote back in March of 2010, we need to remember that the current administration — and Mr Obama in particular — was schooled in the ways of William Ayers, Saul Alinsky’s “Rule For Radicals” and the Cloward-Piven Strategy.
2.Saul Alinsky in his book “Rules For Radicals” (cited by both Cloward and Piven as inspiration for their works and theories) wrote:
7. Tactics
“Tactics are those conscious deliberate acts by which human beings live with each other and deal with the world around them. … Here our concern is with the tactic of taking; how the Have-Nots can take power away from the Haves.” p.126 Always remember the first rule of power tactics (pps.127-134):
1. “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.”
2. “Never go outside the expertise of your people. When an action or tactic is outside the experience of the people, the result is confusion, fear and retreat…. [and] the collapse of communication.
3. “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy. Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty. (This happens all the time. Watch how many organizations under attack are blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments that they are then forced to address.)
4. “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules. You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.”
5. “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.”
6. “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”
7. “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag. Man can sustain militant interest in any issue for only a limited time….”
8. “Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.”
9. “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.”
10. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign.”
11. “If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside… every positive has its negative.”
12. “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.”
13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. In conflict tactics there are certain rules that [should be regarded] as universalities. One is that the opposition must be singled out as the target and ‘frozen.’…
“…any target can always say, ‘Why do you center on me when there are others to blame as well?’ When your ‘freeze the target,’ you disregard these [rational but distracting] arguments…. Then, as you zero in and freeze your target and carry out your attack, all the ‘others’ come out of the woodwork very soon. They become visible by their support of the target…’
“One acts decisively only in the conviction that all the angels are on one side and all the devils on the other.” (pps.127-134)
The Cloward/Piven Strategy is named after Columbia University sociologists Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. Their goal was to overthrow capitalism by overwhelming the government bureaucracy with entitlement demands. The created crisis provides the impetus to bring about radical political change.
Cloward and Piven published an article in the May 2nd, 1966 issue of The Nation, entitled “The Weight of the Poor: A Strategy to End Poverty.” A PDF version of that specific article is here. With that in mind, it should be no surprise whatsoever that the website Democracy Now! features Frances Fox Piven (still living, Cloward having died in 2001) saying that — regarding the “Occupy Wall Street” protests — I think we desperately need a popular uprising in the United States,” Piven said. “I study movements. None of us know the exact formula for when those movements erupt, but it could be. And if that is true, then these people who are here are really wonderful.” She is described in Democracy Now! as: Frances Fox Piven, Distinguished Professor of Political Science and Sociology at the Graduate Center, City University of New York. She is the author, most recently, of Challenging Authority: How Ordinary People Change America.
