Senate Dems deliver stunning warning to Supreme Court: ‘Heal’ or face restructuring

Several high-profile Senate Democrats warned the Supreme Court in pointed terms this week that it could face a fundamental restructuring if justices do not take steps to “heal” the court in the near future.
The ominous and unusual warning was delivered as part of a brief filed Monday in a case related to a New York City gun law. Sens. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, Richard Durbin, D-Ill., and Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., referenced rulings by the court’s conservative majority in claiming it is suffering from some sort of affliction which must be remedied.
This is nothing more than a naked threat from the Senate, threatening supremacy over another branch of government. This is absolutely unprecedented, as the Demorats are saying, openly, that if more decisions don’t go the Demorat way, SCOTUS will pay a serious price. This is clearly threatening the independence of the US Supreme Court.
This is the stuff of actual tyranny. Actual totalitarianism. Could you imagine had the Republicans done something similar?
For whatever reason, the show came to a bit of a crashing halt when the computer froze. Further, the confuser refused to reset when I held the power button down. I had to literally unplug the thing, then plug it back in. That’s the hardest reset imaginable. Then, once up and running again, the XSplit program, which hosts our video streams, completely died. It was just one of those nights.
That would explain, you see, why the show is split into two parts.

Let’s set the record straight about President Donald Trump and Charlottesville. And let’s end the Leftist bullshit about his quotes regarding the incident — always taken completely and purposely out of context and full of not even half truths.
Remember, the article will always be here, with full attributions of audio, video and complete textual transcripts for future reference.
You know: to set Leftists straight. And to combat their bullshit.
Because 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden said this on June 11th.
So, we quite clearly need to correct the so-called “record” according to Leftists.
News anchors and pundits have repeated lies about Donald Trump and race so often that some of these narratives seem true, even to Americans who embrace the fruits of the president’s policies. The most pernicious and pervasive of these lies is the “Charlottesville Hoax,” the fake-news fabrication that he described the neo-Nazis who rallied in Charlottesville, Va., in August 2017 as “fine people.”
The Unite The Right rally occurred on August 11th and 12th of 2017 because of the removal of a number of Confederate monuments throughout the east and south as a result of the Charleston church shooting in 2015. Counter protesters showed up and by their presence the violence escalated. More than 30 people were injured. On the afternoon of the 12th, James Fields rammed his 2010 Dodge Challenger into protesters at between 23 to 28 mph. He killed Heather Heyer and injured 19 other people. He was convicted of first degree murder and other crimes in 2018, receiving a life sentence.
Just last week I exposed this falsehood, yet again, when CNN contributor Keith Boykin falsely stated, “When violent people were marching with tiki torches in Charlottesville, the president said they were ‘very fine people.’” When I objected and detailed that Trump’s “fine people on both sides” observation clearly related to those on both sides of the Confederate monument debate, and specifically excluded the violent supremacists, anchor Erin Burnett interjected, “He [Trump] didn’t say it was on the monument debate at all. No, they didn’t even try to use that defense. It’s a good one, but no one’s even tried to use it, so you just used it now.”
So lets go directly to the words of President Donald Trump, first from August 15th, 2017.
“Excuse me, they didn’t put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides. You had people in that group – excuse me, excuse me, I saw the same pictures you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.”
So no one can apparently concede, on either side, that there were at least a few persons on the scene who didn’t have blood and violence on their minds? Not even a smattering few? Of course not. Not according to the Leftists, Demorats and American Media Maggots. Historically speaking, the greatest amount of violence has always been from the Left.
If those words were insufficient, let’s go back to this press conference originally on August 12th. You likely never heard both and neither of them fully.

“I’m in Washington today to meet with my economic team about trade policy and major tax cuts and reform. We are renegotiating trade deals and making them good for the American worker. And it’s about time. Our economy is now strong. The stock market continues to hit record highs, unemployment is at a 16-year-low and businesses are more optimistic than ever before. Companies are moving back to the United States and bringing many thousands of jobs with them. We have already created over 1 million jobs since I took office.
We will be discussing economic issues in greater detail later this afternoon, but based on the events that took place over the weekend in Charlottesville, Va., I would like to provide the nation with an update on the ongoing federal response to the horrific attack and violence that was witnessed by everyone.
I just met with FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Jeff Sessions. The Department of Justice has opened a civil rights investigation into the deadly car attack that killed one innocent American and wounded 20 others. To anyone who acted criminally in this weekend’s racist violence, you will be held fully accountable. Justice will be delivered.
As I said on Saturday, we condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence. It has no place in America. And as I have said many times before, no matter the color of our skin, we all live under the same laws, we all salute the same great flag, and we are all made by the same almighty God. We must love each other, show affection for each other, and unite together in condemnation of hatred, bigotry and violence. We must rediscover the bonds of love and loyalty that bring us together as Americans.
Racism is evil. And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans. We are a nation founded on the truth that all of us are created equal. We are equal in the eyes of our Creator. We are equal under the law. And we are equal under our Constitution. Those who spread violence in the name of bigotry strike at the very core of America.
Two days ago, a young American woman, Heather Heyer, was tragically killed. Her death fills us with grief, and we send her family our thoughts, our prayers, and our love. We also mourn the two Virginia state troopers who died in service to their community, their commonwealth and their country. Troopers Jay Cullen and Berke Bates Exemplified the very best in America, and our hearts go out to their families, their friends and every member of American law enforcement. These three fallen Americans embody the goodness and decency of our nation.
In times such as these, America has always shown its true character: responding to hate with love, division with unity, and violence with an unwavering resolve for justice. As a candidate, I promised to restore law and order to our country, and our federal law enforcement agencies are following through with that pledge. We will spare no resource in fighting so that every American child can grow up free from violence and fear. We will defend and protect the sacred rights of all Americans, and we will work together so that every citizen in this blessed land is free to follow their dreams in their hearts and to express the love and joy in their souls. Thank you, god bless you, and god bless America. Thank you very much.”
