Defeat ObakaKare THIS WEEK. We Need HELP NOW!

I had today off. I spent the bulk of it running up my phone bill on both ends — long distance through my land line carrier and also over the internet (I only have dial-up at my cabin).

I went to HughHewitt.com in order to acquire information for phone calls, and I went to RushLimbaugh.com in order to find various numbers and e-mail references. I spent roughly 9 am to 3pm calling and e-mailing various politicians.

I would solicit you to do the same thing. I make some easy references for you now:

From Hugh Hewitt, he identifies three Demorats who are being leaned upon by Obaka and Pelosi. I called them. I e-mailed. I left messages. I didn’t read from someone else’s prepared text. I told them what I really thought. Those three are:

Marcy Kaptur:
D.C.: (202) 225-4146
Toledo: (800) 964-4699 or (419) 259-7500
E-mail (use zip code 43604).

Jason Altmire:
D.C.: (202) 225-2565
Aliquippa: (724) 378-0928
Natrona Heights: (724) 226-1304

Michael McMahon:
D.C.: (202) 225-3371
Staten Island: (718) 351-1062
Brooklyn: (718) 630-5277
E-mail (Use zip code 10306).

Plus, go here to Free Our Health Care. I did. Today.

The “Slaughter Rule” is UNConstitutional. Click this link and read the interview.

The Demorats’ current bleat is that “process doesn’t matter.” That means votes on a specific issue don’t matter. That means you don’t matter.

Pelosi has already said: “But I like it (the Slaughter Rule) because people don’t have to vote on the Senate bill.” Because it would protect the Demorats who would have voted for ObakaKare — but now, may not overtly have to.

However, a niggling little 1998 SCOTUS ruling may end up getting a bit in the way.

Also, you can track the daily movement of ObakaKare here.

The movement for a possible repeal is already, and properly so, being organized.

More Demorats to call who are facing pressure:

Georgia’s John Barrow:
D.C. (202) 225-2823
Augusta: (706) 722-4494
Savannah: (912) 354-7282

New Jersey’s John Adler
D.C.: (202) 225-4765
Toms River: (732) 608-7235

New York’s Dan Maffei:
D.C.: (202) 225-3701
Syracuse: (315) 423-5657

New York’s Michael Arcuri:
D.C.: 202-225-3665
Utica: 315-793-8146/8147

I called them too and spoke to only a few humans. But I left many voicemails. Some just rang and rang. But I let it ring.

Nate Silver of FiveThirtyEight blog –the best of the lefty bloggers by far– lets us know the ten key Democrats on whom to lean (and to whose opponents your contibutions should be directed if they vote “yes” on Obamacare):

You can use the House switchboard via 202-225-3121. Call them all. Pledge to help their opponents if they vote “yes” on Obamacare.

But also keep the pressure on this list, especially the Ohio five.

These Ohio Demorats are also “on the fence.” I called them and sent e-mails. You can too:

Rush Limbaugh already killed the DC switchboards this week by merely asking listeners to call:

– Toll-free number for the Capitol Switchboard: 877-762-8762.
– Direct toll number is 202-224-3121.

Mr Obaka sat for an interview on Wednesday with Bret Baier on Fox News’ Special Report. Obaka did nothing more than obfuscate and filibuster. At one point Baier asked Obaka the same question four times with no clear answer proffered.

Obaka cannot answer. He cannot speak “in the clear.” He, literally, does NOT know what is in the ObakaKare bill itself. The entire transcript is here. He doesn’t know what’s in the bill. He doesn’t care what’s in the bill. Pelosi has already pulled all the chicks for a vote. But a vote on what?

In terms of suits stemming from ObakaKare, Idaho is already leading the way:

BOISE, Idaho — Idaho took the lead in a growing, nationwide fight against health care overhaul Wednesday when its governor became the first to sign a measure requiring the state attorney general to sue the federal government if residents are forced to buy health insurance. Similar legislation is pending in 37 other states.

Ladies and gentlemen, if I can make calls, you can make calls.

Time to stop reading. Get on the heater. E-mails. Phone calls. Do it now.

This post will remain up for more than one day, for obvious reasons.

Get going.

The door has to be slammed.

And it has to be slammed now.

Walgreens’ news release
Effective April 16, Walgreens drugstores across the state won’t take any new Medicaid patients, saying that filling their prescriptions is a money-losing proposition — the latest development in an ongoing dispute over Medicaid reimbursement.
The company, which operates 121 stores in the state, will continue filling Medicaid prescriptions for current patients.
In a news release, Walgreens said its decision to not take new Medicaid patients stemmed from a “continued reduction in reimbursement” under the state’s Medicaid program, which reimburses it at less than the break-even point for 95 percent of brand-name medications dispensed to Medicaid patents.
This bill hasn’t even passed and it’s having ramifications. What? You couldn’t see or anticipate this? Demorats, you ignorant sluts.

To The Demorats: Now It’s Personal

The sign couldn’t say it any better than I could.

Demorats, Leftists, Socialists, Marxists, Communists, Progressives:

You are trying to take my current healthcare away from me.

Yes, it’s a pain sometimes. But it’s my healthcare and the choices and plans and paths are determined by me and my doctors. I’m no spring chicken; the 6th decade is upon me. But I’ll fight you with everything I have.

I don’t have any children so I really shouldn’t care. However, I have a nephew and two nieces; ignorant and heads filled with idealistic drivel and jejune pap — but nice kids. Their debt burden from the GOP is already bad; the burden laid upon them now and potentially in the future by Mr Obaka and his minions is beyond human ken.

But wait; there’s more. Speaker Pelosi has said out loud that ObakaKare is only the proverbial tip-o-the-iceberg:

Pelosi also sought to reassure those unhappy with the Senate bill by stressing that future legislation would follow, suggesting that after they passed this legislation Dems might try to do away with the insurance industry’s antitrust exemption, among other unnamed initiatives.

“Kick open that door, and there will be other legislation to follow,” she said. “We’ll take the country in a new direction.”

Right. The one thing we desperately need in this country: more legislation. Let me guess — wait for it — wait for it — could it possibly be in the form of CapNTax and amnesty for Illegal Invaders?

I say: it’s Open Season on Demorats. All of you bastards and bastardettes.

Even if ObakaKare fails, you are so going to pay.

Thanks to Jinksto for this link!

P.P.S.
How about a couple more signs?

Finally: on Greta Susteren, Representative Paul Ryan says the Demorats don’t have the votes to pass ObakaKare or they wouldn’t be resorting to every puerile tactic extant.

Huh; d’ya think?

P.P.P.S.
Today is an anniversary. I’ve been in law enforcement, in one form or another, for 37 years.

Obaka’s Threat

From the UK Telegraph:

Barack Obama has said he will not campaign for any Democratic congressmen who fails to support health care reform.

My first thought: is that actually a threat, or more of a promise?

Mark Hemingway of the Washington Examiner writes:

I bet those Democrats who are voting no are wondering if they can get that promise in writing. Obama may help with fundraising, but those Dems in competitive districts probably don’t see an association with the president as being of much help — again, just ask Martha Coakley, Jon Corzine or Creigh Deeds.

Further, according to The Hill, House Majority Whip James Clyburn says the House’s ObakaKare vote could possibly be delayed past the Easter holiday.

Thumbscrews and racks, anyone? We know waterboarding’s out.

You Mean Nothing To The US Federal Government

Read this article from the National Review Online:

What are Democratic leaders saying? “If you pass the Stupak amendment, more children will be born, and therefore it will cost us millions more. [My emphasis – BZ] That’s one of the arguments I’ve been hearing,” Stupak says. “Money is their hang-up. Is this how we now value life in America? If money is the issue — come on, we can find room in the budget. This is life we’re talking about.”

That’s right, ladies and gentlemen: kill more babies and that’s more money you’ll save the federal government.

That’s your ObakaKare.

But why stop there?

You already realize that those persons with serious genetic defects from birth will not likely be productive Americans in their lifetimes — that is to say, their likelihood of being a consistent and deep-pocketed taxpayer is twofold: slim and none. Therefore, why should they be aided and abetted, medically, by the government?

At what point do you stop being a productive citizen and start being a drag on the ObakaKare system? That point likewise should be determined so that ObakaKare may be withdrawn from those persons. Sounds like Mr Obaka needs an actual Master Plan. Because, clearly, the US government will be in the business of determining who are the most productive and deserving — and who are the least productive and deserving.

This is simply heinous, people. Beyond reprehensible.

And, at this point, I’m afraid it’s going to become the law of the land.

Why do you think there exist those Demorats who are, publicly, “unsure” of how they’ll vote? You think they’ve actually not yet made up their minds?

No. They just haven’t agreed upon the numbers for their own bribes yet.
