IRS Lois Lerner: “I take the Fifth”

As predicted, Lois Lerner took the Fifth during her alleged “testimony.”

Except that, first, she made a self-serving statement, then refused to testify.

The arrogance of the IRS and this administration, by extension, is phenomenal.

“I have not done anything wrong.”

Really?

Except be an obstructionist.

When people think you’re guilty because you plead the Fifth — they’re correct.

  1. They should not let her get away with testifying, making a statement, then claiming the Fifth so she can’t be questioned about her statement or anything else.

  2. The comment is designed to make it more difficult to arrest her.
It is not a court proceeding so her further subterfuge does her no damage.
Apologies are offered when something wrong is done. They are as good as a confession in terms of probable cause for arrest. She should be arrested and held without bond for the basic violation of her oath in the obvious violation of the free association principal of the First Amendment leading to intended violation of free speech through violating the Fifth Amendment protection from abuse of government authority. It’s a slam dunk case. That’s why there was an apology in the first place. Put the bitch in jail. Let her buy her way out with decent information or sit there, where she belongs, until her trial.
