What if Obama loses?

There have already been prognostications made with this eventuality:

New Threats to Riot if Obama Loses Election

Despite the issue receiving national media attention, Obama supporters continue to threaten to riot if Mitt Romney wins the presidential election, raising the prospect of civil unrest if Obama fails to secure a second term.

The new threats continue to dominate Twitter and the vast majority make no reference to press coverage of the issue over the last week, illustrating the fact that they are a legitimate expression of how many Obama voters plan to respond if Romney comes out on top, and not merely a reaction to media hype.

Louis Farrakhan, of course, also weighed in, in terms of “keeping America white.”

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Speaking in Charlotte on Sunday, Louis Farrakhan had this advice for President Barack Obama:

Fight.

“Mr. President, you’ve got to realize you’re fighting for your presidential life,” the leader of the Nation of Islam told an estimated gathering of 6,000 at Bojangles’ Coliseum. “You’re fighting for your vision of the Democratic Party and the country.”

In marking the 17th anniversary of his 1995 Million Man March on Washington, D.C., Farrakhan was scheduled to talk about the economy and a Muslim “blueprint for ending need and want.”

But with the Nov. 6 election three weeks away, the 79-year-old Muslim leader changed his mind, instead offering advice to the president and country, describing a United States still ruptured by race.

Then Farrakhan spent two hours hammering at racial – some critics will call them racist – themes.

To begin, the highly controversial Farrakhan accused Republicans of having “overt” racist motives in their opposition to Obama, the country’s first black president. He attacked a political process that he says is controlled by monied interests and wants “to keep America white.”

And while he claimed Obama’s Republican opponent, Mitt Romney, had lied about his real positions on most major issues throughout the first presidential debate, he also criticized Obama’s low-energy response.

So:

What happens if America actually votes against Obama?

Obama: won’t get fooled again

Mr Obama wasn’t happy, nor were his Minions, following his first debate with Mitt Romney.

Quotes back then included CNN reporting that Obama said: “Basically they’re keeping me indoors all the time. It’s a drag.  They’re making me do my homework.”

Obama was predominantly disinterested, just as he has been for the bulk of his presidency.  He is too damned good for the job which, truly, when you bottom-line it all, is a Truism we all need to recognize.

“This time,” however, things may be different.  Mr Obama has allegedly been “cramming” for the past four days.

Though, according to the Chicago Tribune, Mr Obama is going to face some significant challenges as the topics include, in the second debate this Tuesday, both foreign and domestic policies:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Losing ground to Republican Mitt Romney on a host of issues, President Barack Obama faces a serious challenge to put his re-election bid back on track when the two men face off on Tuesday in their second debate.

Obama’s passive performance in their first debate two weeks ago and Romney’s subsequent surge have raised expectations for a more fiery encounter at New York’s Hofstra University.

Mr Obama’s handlers are indicating he’s going to come out fast and furious himself — though he’ll be doing his level best to completely avoid Fast & Furious itself.  He’ll simply be more aggressive.  However, one very interesting point from Nancy Cordes of CBS News:

But also because if the Obama campaign is looking for a comeback, a way to turn around his performance from the first debate, it’s challenging. He can’t go after Gov. Romney as much as he would in a normal debate format because he’s also is going to have to be working on connecting with the members of the audience and dealing with the questions they are asking.

Your thoughts or predictions on tomorrow’s debate?

“Do black people support Obama because he’s black?”

Only idiot GOWP Caucasoids would be sufficiently daft to even pose this question.

Yet, according to the Associated Press, this is a question of heft, bearing and serious import:

Are black people supporting Obama mainly because he’s black? If race is just one factor in blacks’ support of Obama, does that make them racist? Can blacks’ support for Obama be compared with white voters who may favor his Republican challenger, Mitt Romney, because he’s white?

Let me make this simple for the Leftists who may occasionally visit.

In a word: yes.

Not just regular yes, but extra-crispy yes.

Less than 3 hours to the Ryan – Biden debate

And frankly, I can’t wait.

In preparation for the debate, Joe Biden washes his Trans Am.

Any predictions?  I have one:

I think Biden is going to attempt to play “hard-ball” with Mr Ryan and ask the questions that people “wanted Obama to.”  I see Biden thinking of himself as the White Knight riding up in order to cleanse the dark arena of its Conservative Scourge.  He will be the Savior of the Leftists, come to the aid of Mr Obama with his quick wit, acerbic tongue and witty repartee.

My thought is borne out by this LA Times article.

I suspect Biden will attempt to make his attempt for the proverbial jugular.  Demorats secretly say their entire hopes rest on Biden.  That in itself is rather shocking.

However: if he decides to go there, I’m suspecting that Ryan will decapitate Mr Biden and simply watch the exsanguination.

As will I.

This, if anything, will be highly entertaining.

Can Paul Ryan continue the momentum, or will Joe Biden somehow shift that momentum?
