29 people shot in less than 18 hours in Chicago

In the pouring rain, the 23-year-old man pulled a fur-lined hood over his head and stood on the porch of his younger brother’s home in the Douglas Park neighborhood early Sunday, watching police investigate the city’s first homicide of the weekend.

The man said he heard people arguing and throwing bottles at each other about 2:30 a.m. before the shots rang out. He said he went to check on what was happening three doors down but then stopped, retreated back.

“When I noticed the commotion, I headed the other direction,” he said, as he was getting ready to go to work as a truck driver. “There’s a reason for the rain. Only God knew this was going to happen.”

The fatal shooting of Tywan Anderson, 23, in the 1300 block of South Fairfield Avenue, half a block north of Mount Sinai Hospital, marked the only fatality among 29 people who were shot from Saturday to Sunday morning, officials said. Of the people shot, three were teenagers — ages 14, 15 and 17.

Woo-hoo. In the city with the strictest gun laws in the nation. How well they work. Wait. I have a great idea. Let’s make them even more constrictive. That will solve everything.

Even left-leaning TheAtlantic.com admits Chicago has a serious problem.

The problem is real: 762 people were murdered in Chicago last year, a stunning 58 percent jump in homicides from 2015. So large was the sharp, sudden increase in homicides in one of America’s largest cities that it tangibly raised the entire nation’s homicide rate higher for 2016. But nobody really knows why it’s happening.

Is that true? No one knows why it’s happening?

Even the data on one of the most obvious possible causes—a sudden shift in policing tactics—offers little clarity. Street stops had been in steady decline since early 2014, when they peaked at 80,000 stops per month. By October 2015, they reached 60,000 per month and then plummeted sharply to 10,000 stops by December 2015. At first glance, that would seem to correlate with the sudden surge of in 2016.

What are the reasons? Because, after all, even Time magazine admits violent crime is on the rise in major US cities all through the United States.

Breitbart writes, on the Easter violence in Chicago:

Despite the low death rate, the number of wounded for the holiday weekend has far exceeded that of the last three years.

While the focus has often been misplaced on the police in the Windy City, those killed in confrontations with cops is relatively low. For instance, in 2016, only four of the city’s 717 shooting deaths were at the hands of police. Thus far this year, there have been no police-involved shootings.

[We also know the US DOJ is keeping Americans in the dark about Obama’s release of over 1,700 convicts in the last days of his presidency.]

Why is this problem not solved?

Because it is impolitically correct to focus policing and discipline on one segment or area of a given city. Stop and frisk worked.

Nothing is working now.

Black lives matter?

Another woman shouts “beat his ass,” while another man is heard laughing before remarking, “Don’t vote Trump.”

Here, ladies and gentlemen, is a crime in progress heavily documented by the suspects themselves, young black urban males. See the photograph above. In California this would be 211 PC – Robbery, and 215 PC – Carjacking. Both are felonies. Information indicates this occurred Wednesday in Chicago.

Here is the evidence. Now it is up to the local police jurisdictions to investigate, as well as the FBI and DOJ for the concomitant hate crimes involved. It is also up to the American Media Maggots to place this video on television, newspapers and the internet in order to bring the suspects to justice for the felonious hate crimes. Mr Obama’s heart skips a beat on the beautiful links.

Don’t bother Mr Obama, he’s busy playing golf.  He can’t be bothered by those 13 people killed and tens of thousands displaced following the floods in Louisiana, or those blacks shot and killed on the mean streets of Chicago — even after it was those black votes he desired because of a certain melanin match or a certain Republican president Mr Obama accused of being “uncaring” during Katrina in NOLA.

You see, Mr Obama detests “fakery.”  He detests the “theater” of politics.

And then — what? — more shootings and death in Chicago?  Meh.  Not worthy of even a mention.  Those deaths and that carnage doesn’t serve to advance Mr Obama at all.  One must serve before one acquires a mention.

Dozens Shot, Four Killed over Weekend in Gun-controlled Chicago

Dozens were shot–four fatally–over the weekend in heavily gun controlled Chicago.

This death and violence follows the 52 who were shot–nine fatally–during the previous weekend in Chicago.

According to ABC News, a 7-year-old girl was among the wounded. She was shot while attending “a vigil for another shooting victim.” A 36-year-old woman was also shot while attending that vigil.

At one point during the weekend — “an intense 14-hour stretch of violence that ran from Saturday into Sunday” — someone was shot in Chicago “every 33 minutes.” The Chicago Tribune reported the same portion of the weekend — “from Saturday afternoon to early Sunday” — was especially violent last weekend too. During that time alone, “five people were killed and at least 19 others were wounded.”

Forty-nine people were shot, nine fatally, two weekends ago, and “52 people were shot, seven of them fatally” the weekend before.

You know, in Chicago.  That Demorat/Leftist city controlled historically by Demorat/Leftist mayors (and Mayor Rahm Emanuel now), a pristine and shining example of Demorat/Leftist values where blacks are lifted from poverty, have jobs and are able to acquire their dreams in a Utopian atmosphere of understanding and funding, and guns are proscribed for a violence-free, clean environment.

I mean, there are gun laws in Chicago.  Real gun laws.  And gun laws stop criminals!  Right?

Of course they do.  Just ask a Demorat or a Leftist.

That, of course, goes hand-in-hand or, perhaps, blood puddle-in-blood puddle with my prior post only a few days ago where 100 people were shot in Chicago on a single weekend as well.

If you want to stop gun violence, you’d best start with inserting the black father into the family equation and stop paying people for more children absent a father, embrace religion and churches, clean up schools and bring the trades back into them, lean on “stop and frisk,” demand the “broken windows” mindset from police, emphasize education with a focus on the basics and halt generational welfare.  Blacks in urban neighborhoods have just as much a right to be safe on their streets and in their homes as anyone else.

Let’s face it, Obama is “calling it in” and “checking out” as a lame-duck president.  I submit: he didn’t much care about the job in the first place.  He liked the perks.  Hated the bother of it all.

Nearly 100 people shot in Chicago in less than a week

Nearly 100 people have been shot in Chicago in less than a week, pushing the number of shooting victims so far this year to more than 2,500 — about 800 more than this time last year, according to data kept by the Tribune.

Between last Friday afternoon and early Thursday, at least 99 people were shot in the city, 24 of them fatally.  At least nine people were killed on Monday alone, the deadliest day in Chicago in 13 years, according to Tribune data. Among the wounded that day was a 10-year-old boy shot in the back as he played on his front porch in Lawndale.

The number of shooting victims in Chicago stood at 2,514 Thursday morning. At this time last year, 1,725 people had been shot.  The city has not seen this level of gun violence since the 1990s, a trend the Police Department has blamed on lax gun laws and feuding gang factions.

“Lax gun laws.”  What a load of horse-crap.  Chicago has some of the toughest gun laws in the nation, on par with Los Angeles and New York.  Assault weapons?  Banned.  Go here.

Let us not forget it is Lyndon Baines Johnson, Democrat, Hero of the Left, the consummate personal opportunist and 36th president, who said — regarding the Civil Rights Act of 1957 (as Senate Majority Leader) to Hubert Humphrey, “Hubert, it don’t take any genius to be for civil rights from Minnesota.  How many black people you got in Minnesota?  Humphrey said, about 12,000.  Johnson said to Humphrey, “you make me sick.”

Let us also not forget that it was LBJ who said “I’ll have those niggers voting Democrat for the next two-hundred years.”

And so he has.  It’s nothing more complicated than this: I’ll respect black lives when Democrats respect them, and when they respect themselves.

I’m going to have a very long wait.

Memorial Day 2016 in Chicago

Because black lives don’t matter.  They don’t matter to the Demorats, they don’t matter to Leftists, they don’t matter to the local Chicago politicians, and I can make an excellent argument that black lives don’t matter to blacks themselves.

Chicago’s Bloody Memorial Day: 66 Shot, 6 Killed

An incredible 66 people were shot, although just six were killed, over Chicago’s Memorial Day weekend. The carnage pushed the number of gunshot victims well above 1,500 this year in this Democratic-run city.

One of the youngest victims was a 15-year-old girl who was killed on the city’s famed Lake Shore Drive while a passenger in a car driven by a known gang member.

The blood continued to flow all weekend, with victims in their teens and early 20s dominating the mounting tally.

Memorial Day 2016 outpaced the toll of violence for both 2015 and 2014, but not the death tolls. In 2015, 45 were wounded, and 12 deaths were recorded. In 2014, 21 were wounded and eight killed. While far more were shot this year than any other Memorial Day weekend, Chicago can take some solace that fewer ended up dead.

So far this year there have been 1,514 people shot in Chicago. Of that number, 228 have been killed by the gunfire. An additional 26 murders by other means pushed the death toll to 254. Sixty-two of those homicides happened in May.

So just who kills whom in Chicago?  Let’s examine the statistics — not just from “conservative media,” but from governmental and the American Media Maggots as well.

New study shows likelihood of being shot in Chicago

The study, called “Tragic, but not random: The social contagion of nonfatal gunshot injuries,” was published in the January 2015 issue of Social Science & Medicine. It shows the risk of becoming a gunshot victim in Chicago is “more concentrated than previously thought,” according to Andrew Papachristos, one of the authors.

And as was previously known, race was a key risk factor in getting shot, the study noted. For every 100,000 people, an average of one white person, 28 Hispanics and 113 blacks became victims of nonfatal shootings every year in Chicago over the six-year study period.

Are you perhaps sensing a trend here?

AllenWest.com then weighs in on some statistics — Allen West being a retired Lt Colonel in the US Army and a former Florida Representative.  Who is himself black.

On average, 4,472 black men were killed by other black men annually between Jan. 1, 2009, and Dec. 31, 2012, according to the FBI’s Supplementary Homicide Reports. Using FBI and CDC statistics, Professor Johnson calculates that 112 black men, on average, suffered both justified and unjustified police-involved deaths annually during this period.

This equals 2.5 percent of these 4,472 yearly deaths. For every black man — criminal or innocent — killed by a cop, 40 black men were murdered by other black men. The, at most, 2.5 percent of the problem generates relentless rage. And, yet, it is rude-to-racist to mention 97.5 percent of the problem.

The notion that America’s cops simply are gunning down innocent black people is one of today’s biggest and deadliest lies”.

The numbers are horrifying

Simply put, Chicago has a massive Black-on-Black murder problem. All of the data below comes from the Chicago Police Department. You can access it here.

What stands out the most looking at both charts and knowing that 90% of the victims are male is that a lot of young, Black men are being killed in Chicago. No race comes even close to overall deaths by homicide. Keep in mind that based on 2010 Census numbers, only 33% of Chicago’s population was classified as Black. 

The data on offenders also tells a troubling story: Young, Black males are overwhelmingly committing most of the murders. Based on the data on the victims, that means young, Black males are primarily killing other young, Black males. What a terrible situation. 

“Black Lives Matter” have no problem with excoriating anyone and everyone not in sync with their racist mantra.  Anyone suggesting — and that includes any and all Leftists — that “all lives matter” is hoisted on their own Leftist petard.

But the only logical bottom line is this: there are any number of reasons that blacks are murdering blacks at remarkable rates.  Those aside, that law enforcement is a “major player” in the demise of young black males is an out-and-out lie.  Repeat: a lie.  Young black urban males predominantly kill young black urban males.  That is a fact.

The logical extension is this: blacks continuously demand what they term “respect.”  Let me state the obvious for those who cannot ken the obvious: when blacks truly respect each other, then and only then will respect be 1) given and 2) earned.

Blacks: earn it.

Law enforcement isn’t the problem in your “black community.”

Try some introspection.
