Moderation

ModerationTruism.

We didn’t create this country behind “moderates.”  We created this country behind people who veritably placed their very intimate lives on the line and took a stance for Conservatism and freedom.  Those persons who believed in minimal government, independence, self-determination, religious freedom, unfettered thought and speech, and the ability to defend same.  (Leftists run this way: 1. What isn’t prohibited, 2. Will be mandated.)

And we won’t save this country behind moderation.  Moderation to me is the equivalent to defeatism, to capitulation, at this stage in our history.  Time and again Liberalism has yielded the downfall of our cities and, by dint of that, the expansion of government in order to backstop failed Leftist policies.  For Leftists, it’s a win-win.

For people who may desire to stand on their own two feet, it’s lose-lose.

With one major exception:

The US Government, over many generations now, has taught people how not to stand on their own two feet.  The US Government has taught people to become dependent on it, which in turn mandates larger and larger government, more spending, higher taxes.

Moderation is the ability of the GOP to look the Demorats right in the eye, squint, and say “yes, you’re correct; looks like I’ll have to come over to your way of thinking.”

Moderation is for losers.

Just look at the GOP.

GOP, once again, never fails to squander an advantage

Boehner & Pelosi

John Boehner just loves him some good ol’ Demorats.

Because the Old Staid GOP decided it’s just got to be “business as usual” with John Boehner throned for a third time as Speaker of the House.

Ho-hum.  Buh-bye to any power the GOP would have wielded to fight the Demorats and Leftists, despite the majority in the House and Senate.

The GOP, once again, not failing to squander whatever advantage it acquires.

And what would a re-coronation of John Boehner be without the waterworks?

Just when you thought, as an actual Conservative, that the GOP might be starting to change, they go and insist upon the path they’ve trod for years: knocking back drinks at local DC watering holes with their buddies, the Demorats.  Back slapping all around.

As Rahm Emanual said, “you never let a serious crisis go to waste,” so the GOP says: “we must never fail to squander a good electoral and tactical political advantage.”

The GOP is broken — and I’m wondering if it can ever be repaired.

Boehner - If It's Okay With Barack

GOP waits about 35 seconds after taking power before kicking Conservatives in the crotch

John Boehner MascaraHere, John Boehner wears mascara in order to emphasize the innocent sweetness of his lash-lovely eyes and his perfectly rouged lips. “How can you not trust me?” his exquisitely-tanned persona seems to ask.  “Easy,” I respond.

In the Classic Old Staid GOPGo Along To Get Along” Mode via John Andrew Boehner, he did his level best to ensure the $1.1 TRILLION dollar Omnibus bill passed the House, 216 to 209.

Laura Ingraham Twitted:

The Dems split w/Obama HELPS Dems in 2016. The GOP’s war on conservative principles HARMS GOP in 2016.

As well as this:

How much ACTUAL debate on the SUBSTANCE of the $1.1T bill was there? No one wanted to defend this.

And this:

. was planning to do this all along. Gave Obama almost everything he wanted; shafted conservatives.

From the AssociatedPress.org:

House approves $1.1T bill financing government

WASHINGTON (AP) — Republicans have muscled a $1.1 trillion bill financing government agencies through the House after President Barack Obama phoned Democratic lawmakers and urged them to back the measure.

The House approved the measure late Thursday by 219-206.

Many conservatives opposed it because it did not block Obama’s recent executive actions on immigration. A large majority of House Democrats opposed it because of provisions easing some restrictions on banks and allowing higher political contributions by big donors.

Obama backed the bill and called wavering Democratic lawmakers to persuade them to help it pass.

The bill must now be approved by the Democratic-run Senate.

Thanks for being the perennial sell-out, John Andrew.

I might suggest a scheduled and long-needed upcoming trip to Spines N Us.
