Just like “1984”: White House Sets Ground Rules for Local Interviews

Imagine that.

The Obama Administration attempting to control the DEM/MSM.

From Keith Koffler, a veteran White House reporter:

The White House is doing something with its local TV interviews that it could not easily get away with in encounters with the White House press corps, which President Obama has been studiously ignoring: choosing the topic about which President Obama and the reporter will talk.

In interviews with three local TV stations Monday, two from states critical to Obama’s reelection effort, Obama held forth on the possibility of “sequestration” if he and Congress fail to reach a budget deal, allowing him to make his favorite political point that Republicans are willing to cause grievous harm to the economy and jobs in order to protect the rich from tax increases.

Obama Monday threw the White House press corps a bone by suddenly appearing in the briefing room for 22 minutes and taking questions from a total of four reporters. It was his first press conference at the White House – albeit in miniature – since March, and only his second of the year. Obama before Monday had taken exactly one substantive question from White House reporters since June.

Can you imagine the results had Bush 43 done the following:

– Set ground rules for interviews;
– Avoided the White House press corps for five months?

Yes: 24/7 excoriation would have been the result.

For Obama?  No.  Because the DEM/MSM are “in the tank” for Mr Obama due to his duality: he is Demorat and he is black.  He is, in a media sense, (and continues to be) untouchable.

That said, have you heard or read a portion of how your 2009 “Stimulus” funds were actually spent?  Likely not.  Read it here first:

Now: from the WashingtonTimes.com:

Labor Department spends stimulus funds for ads during Olbermann, Maddow shows

The Labor Department paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal stimulus funds to a public relations firm to run more than 100 commercials touting the Obama administration’s “green training” job efforts on two popular MSNBC cable shows, records show.

The commercials ran on MSNBC on shows hosted by Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann in 2009, but the contract didn’t report any jobs created, according to records recently reviewed by The Washington Times.

Spending reports under the federal Recovery Act show $495,000 paid to McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations LLC, which the Labor Department hired to raise awareness “among employers and influencers about the [Job Corps] program’s existing and new training initiatives in high growth and environmentally friendly career areas” as well as spreading the word to prospective Job Corps enrollees.

Ultimately, the firm negotiated ad buys for “two approved spots” airing 14 times per week for two months on “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” and “The Rachel Maddow Show,” according to a project report, which listed the number zero under a section of the report asking how many jobs had been created through the stimulus contract.

David Williams, president of the nonprofit watchdog Taxpayers Protection Alliance, called the contract “questionable” because it created no jobs and because of the placement of the ads on shows viewed as friendly to the administration’s policies.

“Hiring a PR firm does not create jobs and this was obviously meant for selling a particular political agenda,” Mr. Williams said. “The placement really reeks of a political ad rather than a job ad, and taxpayers see through this.

“Taxpayers would be a lot happier at the end of the day to see a completed road rather than a bunch of ads on cable television,” he said.

I say: YOUR FEDERAL TAX DOLLARS AT WORK.
As in: YOU paid “stimulus dollars” for a litany of Obama propaganda advertisements.
As in: YOU, as an American Taxpayer, were once again FLEECED.
This is YOUR money, ladies and gentlemen.  YOUR MONEY.
Do you care?

MSNBC’s host: Romney Engaging In The ‘Niggerization’ Of Obama

And this is an absolutely blasphemous and obscene characterization of Mr Romney by the DEM/MSM attempting to carry the water of Mr Obama on behalf of racists everywhere.

Because, as we all know, racists come in every color.

And this MSNBC host has certainly shown his:

On Thursday’s edition of MSNBC’s The Cycle the group discussed Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney‘s assertion that President Obama should “take [his] campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago.” Co-host Touré saw what he believes to be explicit racial connotations beneath what Romney was saying, calling it the “niggerization” of the campaign.

“That really bothered me,” he said. “You notice he said anger twice. He’s really trying to use racial coding and access some really deep stereotypes about the angry black man. This is part of the playbook against Obama, the ‘otherization,’ he’s not like us.”

“I know it’s a heavy thing, I don’t say it lightly, but this is ‘niggerization,’” Touré said to the apparent shock of his co-panelists. “You are not one of us, you are like the scary black man who we’ve been trained to fear.”

In complete keeping with the racial divide, once again, it is racist to criticize Mr Obama’s POLICIES and mentioning his city of political origin.

Because, in truth, Mr Obama’s campaign does naught but promote division, hate and anger.  Mr Obama is the greatest Divisionist that I can think of in recent times.  He and his sycophants don’t promote unity or commonality; oh no.  They promote every divide possible, by race, by class, by sex, by age, by wage, by type of employment.

These are the tactics you take when you are a defense lawyer possessing no articulable defense.

In a related fashion, we’ve all heard and read of the incredibly stupid Joe Biden remarks recently made regarding “ya’all in chains.”  More of Pandering 101, and Ignorant Racial Insults 101.  It’s part and parcel of what Joe Biden does.  It’s in his job description and, mostly, Biden is fatuous entertainment on a good day, who merely exhibits his actual mental thickness and stupidity.  He wasn’t worth a post here, because he is primarily a vacuous airhead.  And yes, I’m being quite kind, truly.

Biden’s staff already tried to remove and influence media interest in his “ya’all” travesty.  That also went — oddly enough — unreported by the DEM/MSM.  Imagine that!

That said, the first black state governor in the history of the United States, Douglas Wilder (Virginia, from 1990 to 1994), weighed in on Mr Biden’s comments:

Douglas Wilder .   .   . told CNN that ‘without question’ Biden’s remarks in Danville, Virginia (though the veep seemed to think he was in North Carolina) ‘were appeals to race’.

He continued: ‘The important thing I got out of this was Biden separated himself from what he accused the people of doing. As a matter of fact, what he said is they are going to do something to y’all, not to me. Not us. So he was still involved with that separate American.

In another interview, with Fox News, Wilder said: ‘Slavery is nothing to joke about. And the history of this nation’s involvement with slavery is nothing to pass off in a joke.’

Suggesting that Biden was a liability to Obama, he added that ‘you can’t continue to make gaffe after gaffe after gaffe and believe that it’s going to be supportive of what you and the president are both trying to do’.

The racial division continues unabated.  Supported both tacitly and overtly by Mr Obama who — yet — doesn’t believe he’s divisive.

Refutation?  How about this:

To Mr Obama: with “friends” like Mr Toure and Mr Biden, who needs enemies?

P.S.
The DEM/MSM may be coprophagous.  I myself — as you all well know — am even remotely not.

Paul Ryan has already gone up against Obama budgetarily — and WON

Here’s a bit of the truth that comes back to haunt:

Anyone remember Paul Ryan’s budget that managed to pass the House?

Then went on to the Senate?

Anyone remember: Ryan’s budget acquired 41 votes in the Senate — not far from half.

Anyone remember: what happened to Obama’s budget in the Senate?

Oh, that’s right: 0 votes — not ONE Demorat voted for his budget.  Even the UAW advocated against Mr Obama’s budget.

Score: Ryan 41, Obama 0.

And, oh yeah: Demorats own the Senate.

Video indicators on Ryan’s budget:

So who has a better grasp of reality: Paul Ryan in his instigation, or Mr Obama?

You know my answer to that.

P.S.
This is the worst “recovery” in 75 years.

Finally, the GOP stands up: the House sues AG Eric Holder for stonewalling Fast & Furious documents

From TheWashingtonTimes.com:

House Republicans on Monday asked the federal courts to intervene and force the Obama administration to turn over documents from the botched Fast and Furious gun-walking operation, escalating what had been a simmering constitutional crisis.

House Speaker John A. Boehner said President Obama and his team were ignoring a congressional subpoena — something the courts have long recognized as valid — and said lawmakers were left with no choice but to ask the third branch to referee.

“By stonewalling Congress and ignoring a contempt order, the Justice Department has left the House no choice but to take legal action so we can get to the bottom of the Fast and Furious operation that cost border agent Brian Terry his life,” Mr. Boehner said.

Time and again Mr Obama and his administration has ignored the law when it is convenient for them to do so.  The AG has managed to ignore voter fraud and intimidation yet sued Arizona for doing the job that the federal government is tasked with.

Mr Obama has repeated said his administration would be the most “transparent” ever, yet history and facts prove it is indeed one of the most opaque:

In a bipartisan vote in June the House held Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. in contempt of Congress for refusing to turn over documents the House had subpoenaed as part of its official investigation.

The White House, which had first said it would try to work out a way to release the documents and said they didn’t show anything incriminating, later reversed course and claimed executive privilege prevented them from having to release the information.

The bottom line is: had this been a Republican White House and Attorney General, the hue and cry would have been advanced months ago and said AG would be out on his or her ass.  But because Eric Holder is black, covered by Mr Obama in the White House, he remains in office.

Mr Holder has proven that he is a racist himself, on multiple occasions, with his suits and perhaps more pointedly, his purposeful ignorance of actions that demand suit.

Mr Holder needs to be relieved of office and the documents released.
