A moment of clarity about the The Realist

BZ Logo For BlogI’ve received a few emails from lost souls who actually follow my blog (they must be the ones who also religiously clean their fish tanks and balance check books), and are asking about the new header and its meaning.  Actually, I received more emails about the new header than I’ve ever received in the history of the blog.

They all asked: so, what does “I am The Realist” mean?

I decided it was time to explain and clarify.

Yes, I am still the Bloviating Zeppelin.  I have been so since this blog’s inception on Blogger in 2004.  I have kept this blog running for 11 years now.  These days that is unheard of.  Most blogs last a few weeks or a month, if that, then are abandoned.  The Blogosphere is replete with the abandoned floating remnants of good intentions ignored.

BZ Beard Avatar 1But, in my 60+ years on the planet, never have I encountered times such as these, where the 180-Paradigm is so completely embraced.

That is to say: if something is good, wonderful, fantastic, honest, clear, loyal, brave, powerful, proud, supportive of the United States, you can be assured that the current administration will do or embrace the complete reverse.

I am so done with that.  I am done with receding, with subsuming, with parsing my words, with taking care, with hesitating, with trying to acquire a readership, with attempting to appeal to more readers.  I am in my 60s, my days are numbered, I am done with tolerance, with acceptance, with any form of political correctness.

Let me make this plain.  I have “mine.”  I purposely purchased food for me and my wife to continue living.  I have a water source.  I have a defensible cabin far away from population centers.  I have a bangstick and one bullet.  I have the mindset and the training and the education and experience to utilize all of these things when necessary.  Further, I have a modicum of fiscal security.  I may have been a cop, but I was not a stupid cop.

I planned for my retirement when I was only in my single digits.  Shame on you if you haven’t planned for your retirement.  It’s not my responsibility to take care of you, that you haven’t had the insight I had or if you’re stupid.  Which reemphasizes: I have “mine.”  If you weren’t equally smart then shame on you.  Which translates to: if I advocate against the GOPEE or take certain stands, it’s because I don’t so much mind if the nation collapses.  I am better off than 99% of the rest of the US.

I don’t have to equivocate or worry about what anyone thinks about me.  That, frankly, is rather liberating.  And, as The Realist, it’s time to yank the covers off the national bed and expose the soft white underbelly of politics.  Because I am done.

This nation is not going to survive “compromise.”  It is not going to survive “bipartisanship.”  It is not going to survive communal thoughts or bicameral decisions or deconfliction or Progressives or Socialists or Demorats or Leftists or the SEIU or illegal immigrants or Muslims or open borders.

It’s time to be a Realist.  It’s time to realize what can be done and what must be done.  It’s time for me to fish or cut bait.  It’s time to be even more plain than ever before.  Because, in my estimation, the literal life of this nation, this great nation, is literally on the line.

There are elements, many elements, that wish to see this nation go down in flames.  They exist from without but way too many of these elements exist from within the nation.  I must identify them, call them out, be Politically INcorrect, and use plain and coarse language.

It’s not about me.  As I said, I have “mine.”  I can survive when pushed against the wall.  Too many Americans cannot.  And too many Americans are stupid and dull and groomed for extinction.  They don’t realize that they are the frog in the boiling pot.  They are dulled by their television and their news and their indifference to life around them.  They cannot see two inches in front of their faces.  They have been groomed and petted and coddled to be the dullards they have turned out to be.  The Millennials are the worst.  And they are in for a massive shock.  They are the least prepared for it.

There is a huge societal “thump” coming.  It may be revealed in a physical sense, in a geographic sense, in a fiscal sense, in a budgetary sense, in a stock sense, in an internet sense, in a viral sense, in a technological sense.  Or all of these.

But there is a major “thump” coming and oh-so-very-few people are prepared.  With that in mind, I have to ratchet up my rhetoric because ratcheted-up rhetoric is about to be banned.

You doubt me?

Just you wait and see.

Hence: I am now The Realist.

I must be more clear than ever before.

Why the GOP no longer matters

Because there isn’t a dime’s worth of difference between the Old Staid GOP and the Demorats.

The ancient and staid GOP wants what it wants when it wants it.  They want their watering holes in DC, they want their limousines, they want their grand offices, they demand the deference of “lessers”, they want the Proles and Groundlings and Serfs to declare their subservience.  Heel and boot-licking.

Actual Conservatives ruin the play.  They spill their alcohol, they break the Legos, they kick out the Lincoln Logs, they dare to question.  They dare to even configure questions.

Republicans place the actual Conservatives into small offices, they take them out of committees, they refuse to see them, speak to them, acknowledge them.

Except that a few of them, to the tune of Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, seem to have lives that are not unlike digital games.  As in: they go on and on.  Like a bad battery monkey.

Monkey-CymbalsEven Donald Trump throws a massive monkey wrench into the GOP engine.  It’s not appreciated.

Who did the GOP throw up against Barack Hussein Obama?  Oh, right, the greatest RINO ever: John McCain.  And an ignorant dupe: Sarah Palin.  She’s about as intelligent as a hubcap.

Who did the GOP throw up next?  Oh, right, Mitt Romney.  The guy who wasn’t even convinced that he should run.  Just ask his son, Tad.

The current GOP “leadership” leads about as effectively as a band of cystic nematodes.  To include John Boehner and Mitch McConnell.

Let me make myself clear.  Battle lines need to be drawn.  There is no more room for “moderation” or ‘bipartisanship” or any of the other bullshit words and phrases crafted by both sides of the aisle.

I am 64 years of age.  My best years are “behind me” according to Leftists.  I am the one to whom no one should apply any amount of the healing arts.

And with that I say: I have spent those years preparing for what is coming, because I was sufficiently aware to recognize a bit of the future.  I have precious metals, I have precious metal launchers, I have food, I have water, I have a mindset.

And if I don’t support or vote for the GOP piece of shite that the Leftists have pushed upon us, I quite couldn’t care less.  Because, finally, I have mine.

Republicans Move to Save Obamacare Subsidies if Supreme Court Eliminates Them

WASHINGTON (AP) — Congressional Republicans will move to temporarily continue health care subsidies for millions of people if the Supreme Court overturns the aid, according to plans discussed in the House and Senate Wednesday.

Republicans on both sides of the Capitol met privately to discuss how to respond to the politically explosive ruling that’s expected in the next two weeks and could result in some 7 million people losing subsidies to buy coverage under President Barack Obama’s contested health care law.

Good to know, eh wot?

Obama “Hopeful” Immigration Will Drown Conservatism

The spread of vibrant social diversity is constricting the GOP’s ability to champion conservative causes, such as smaller government and independent families, President Barack Obama said in a softball media interview.

“Over the long term, I’m pretty optimistic, and the reason is because this country just becomes more and more of a hodgepodge of folks,” Obama told Vox editor Ezra Klein.

Check where this is going.

“People are getting more and more comfortable with the diversity of this country, much more sophisticated about both the cultural differences but more importantly, the basic commonality that we have,” he said in his talk, which was recorded Jan 23.

But for Obama, “commonality” is a go-to euphemism for big, intrusive, nation-wide government by progressive experts.

The nation’s governors “all have a common interest, and that is making sure that their constituents — who are also my constituents — are able to gain opportunity, work hard, prosper, feel secure,” Obama said in a Dec. 5 comment about visiting governors. “That happens best when we work together, whether we’re talking about Democrats and Republicans and independents working together, or whether we’re talking about state, federal and local officials working together,” he said.

Further:

Free-market variety is contrary to a common purpose, Obama said Jan. 21. “Our media is all segmented now so that instead of just watching three stations, we got 600,” he said in an Idaho speech. “You got the [single] conservative station and the liberal stations. So everybody is only listening to what they already agree with. And then you’ve got political gerrymandering… so there are a lot of institutional forces that make it seem like we have nothing in common,” he said.

What does that mean to you?

To me it means: when the nation is consumed by a greater and greater number of illegal immigrants and by an increasing number of persons who will, in fact, vote themselves “largesse” (immigrants, of course, having the right to vote) because they find dependence on the government to be vividly attractive, then Conservatives and the GOP will have nothing to offer the population.

Meaning: the electorate will continue to vote, in perpetuity, for Free Cheese, thus eliminating any competition to Demorats.

Voila.  Mr Obama enables Cloward-Piven writ large over the entire nation.

A project being worked on with great vigor by Mr Barack Hussein Obama.
