We know that seventeen people were killed by a 19-year-old shooter named Nikolas Cruz, at his former high school in Parkland, Florida this past Wednesday, Valentine’s Day.
Nikolas Cruz was initially described as an Hispanic by media but then was magically converted to a White Hispanic (would that be similar to an Hispanic Black?) and then a Caucasoid because, well, the meme didn’t fit the event. We learned later that he was Hispanic. Remember, if you’re an American Media Maggot, only Caucasoids can be mass shooters. All others are inviolate. With some notable “exceptions.” But that was before the AMM went “all in” on Caucasoids — so they may be excused.

Alicia Blonde, a teacher at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, remembered school shooter Nikolas Cruz as someone who had a “pride issue” with his Hispanic background and “didn’t feel comfortable in his own skin, in his culture.”
Blonde lamented that Cruz “didn’t really like to speak Spanish too much.”
“I remember him being a very quiet student,” the teacher told MSNBC’s Ali Velshi. “He has a Hispanic background. I remember that he didn’t really like to speak Spanish too much. I think there was some pride issue there. He didn’t feel comfortable in his own skin, in his own culture.”
Of course, not the American culture but “his culture.” Meaning: Hispanic. The intimation being: “he was a bad Hispanic.” I wonder just how much hate and/or discontent Cruz had received over what must have been pressure to correspond to “his culture”? A question for another day.
Then we were told Cruz had associations with White Nationalists. The American Media Maggots went gallivanting off with that meme as well. Eureka! We have rooted out the true evil nature of his Caucasoid soul. See? We knew it.

The Associated Press inaccurately reported that Florida high school massacre suspect Nikolas Cruz was “confirmed” to be a member of a white nationalist group – but it appears the news organization was duped by attention-seeking trolls.
Cruz reportedly has confessed to police that he killed 17 people when he opened fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., on Valentine’s Day. Republic of Florida leader Jordan Jereb reportedly told the AP that Cruz was a member of his white nationalist militia and even participated in paramilitary drills.
“Leader of white nationalist group has confirmed suspect in Florida school shooting was member of his organization,” the AP tweeted on Thursday.
Media Research Center contributing editor Tom Blumer wrote that the AP went to “great excuse-making lengths” after it “abandoned skepticism” when contacted by Jereb.
“It’s reasonable to ask if what supposedly fooled them was really narrative-fitting information that was too convenient to conscientiously check,” Blumer wrote.
There must be a political motive, the AMM insists.

Local law enforcement sources have not found a connection between accused Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz and a Tallahassee-based paramilitary group.
Leon County law enforcement sources told the Tallahassee Democrat that they could not find information linking Cruz, 19, to the Republic of Florida Militia, as claimed by the group’s self-proclaimed leader Jordan Jereb.
His comments to the Anti-Defamation League and The Associated Press set off a media firestorm Thursday at about midday that Cruz was connected to the alt-right, white nationalist group.
Hours after news outlets around the nation reported Cruz’s alleged ties, Leon County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. Grady Jordan told the Tallahassee Democrat investigative work did not yield any connections.
The actual truth emerged. Corrected by local law enforcement — who should know.
At least the AP admitted that they fell for the ruse.
White nationalist appears to disavow connection with shooter
PARKLAND, Fla. (AP) — A white nationalist appears to have lied to The Associated Press and other news organizations when he claimed that Florida school-shooting suspect Nikolas Cruz was a member of his obscure group.
Law enforcement officials have said they didn’t have any evidence to support the claim that Republic of Florida leader Jordan Jereb made in interviews with several news organizations.
Jereb told The Associated Press on Thursday that Cruz had participated in paramilitary drills in Tallahassee, where his group is based. Jereb said he didn’t know Cruz personally and that “he acted on his own behalf of what he just did and he’s solely responsible for what he just did.”
Law enforcement officials said they hadn’t confirmed any such ties.
Lt. Grady Jordan, a spokesman for the Leon County Sheriff’s Office in Tallahassee, said he knew of “no known ties” between Cruz and Jereb’s group.
Let’s examine the individual named Jordan Jereb. There isn’t possibly a bigger, more useless goober in the state. Jereb’s Evil Empire has ten affiliates at best according to law enforcement. I know of sewing circles with more fearsome and menacing members.
Yet the AMM were more than willing to risk whatever may be left of their tattered reputations to hope with all fervency that Jereb was in fact totally correct. It must be. It has to be.
You have to ask yourself why the American Media Maggots continually “fall for the ruse” if it has anything to do with President Trump or essentially any conservative value, tradition or belief? Why?

Guaynabo’s mayor, Angel Perez, said in an interview with The Daily Caller that his experience with the federal government has been different from Cruz’s, in part because — unlike Cruz — he has been participating in meetings with officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and other federal agencies.
You mean cooperation could mean the difference between success and failure? Mayor Soto had to actually do something to further aid? There were meetings? Meetings she really had to attend?
Cruz has repeatedly accused Trump and the federal government of abandoning Puerto Rico. She demanded in a press conference on Friday that Trump do more to help the island, adding that “we are going to see is something close to a genocide” if more is not done.
Mayor Perez told TheDC that the story Cruz is telling the media doesn’t mesh with what he has seen from the federal government.
“My experience is different. I have been participating in different meetings at the headquarters of FEMA and our government and the help is coming in and right now my experience is different from hers. I’m receiving help from the government, we are receiving assistance from FEMA, I got people over here helping us with applications for the people that have damage in their houses. And we have here in Guaynabo, we have thousands of people that lost partially or totally their houses,” said Perez, who is a member of Puerto Rico’s New Progressive Party.

Moreover, this police officer’s account corroborates Trump’s claim that the federal government’s response to the hurricane so far has been timely and impressive, and it is the various levels of Puerto Rican government that deserve the blame.
“If the US government doesn’t get involved, they will finish us,” the Puerto Rican cop pleads. “We’re going to end up worse than Cuba, Africa, or worse than Haiti.”

The head of an international engineering firm in Puerto Rico said in an editorial Saturday that when the time came to send 50 of his engineers to help in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, he bypassed local officials and went straight to FEMA.
The reason, said Jorge Rodriguez, the CEO of PACIV, in an editorial in the New York Post, is that “for the last 30 years, the Puerto Rican government has been completely inept at handling regular societal needs, so I just don’t see it functioning in a crisis like this one.”
“Even before the hurricane hit, water and power systems were already broken. And our $118 billion debt crisis is a result of government corruption and mismanagement.”
Puerto Ricans elected a new governor last November but, Rodriguez charged, he was inexperienced and had never been responsible for a budget.
Gov. Ricardo Rossello cannot exactly count on those around him either, Rodriguez asserted.
“His entire administration is totally inexperienced and they have no clue how to handle a crisis of this magnitude,” said Rodriguez, who has a graduate business degree from Harvard Business School and was named a “Most Distinguished Graduate” by the University of Puerto Rico.
Translation: in many ways this is a self-inflicted wound. And we wonder why Puerto Rico went bankrupt? The clouds are parting, yes?

WASHINGTON, Sept. 30, 2017 — The Defense Department is accelerating relief operations and the deployment of additional response capacity to Puerto Rico to meet the Federal Emergency Management Agency‘s need for a comprehensive commodities distribution network able to reach isolated communities and provide sustained medical support for the island’s residents, Army Lt. Col. Jamie Davis, a Pentagon spokesman, said in a statement this morning.

That was the advice retired Army General Russel Honore gave President Donald Trump this week about responding to the devastation of Puerto Rico by Hurricane Maria. And Honore’s opinion was well informed: In 2005, President George W. Bush sent him to bail out New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina’s 30-foot storm surge overran its levees. And by Honore’s judgment, Trump has fallen short: “This is a hit on White House decision making,” he told Bloomberg News.
“The logistics chain is broken and only the U.S. military can stand it up,” insisted Florida Senator Marco Rubio. “And it is truly my hope that at some point in the next few hours the generals that are down there now, someone with … two stars, or three stars on their shoulder, will be able to be the ultimate decision maker until we get basic logistics.”
TH: So, it seems like everybody has blasted Trump administration’s response to the Puerto Rico crisis. Has that criticism been fair?
JH: No, I don’t think so. First of all, there was a fair amount of anticipatory action that is not being recognized. Amphibious ships including the light amphibious carriers Kearsarge and Wasp and the amphibious landing ship dock Oak Hill were at sea and dispatched to Puerto Rico ahead of the hurricane’s impact.
Oh wait. You mean to say the Trump administration was planning ahead of Hurricane Maria, as he was ahead with Hurricane Harvey?

San Juan mayor accuses Trump of ‘genocide’ after hurricane

The House overcame a conservative rebellion Thursday to pass a new round of disaster relief, saying the $36.5 billion is needed to replenish funds that are quickly depleting in the wake of hurricanes that have battered Texas, Florida, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
The overwhelming 353-69 vote came even as President Trump suggested federal emergency workers cannot remain in Puerto Rico “forever” — and Carmen Yulin Cruz, the mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico, accused Mr. Trump of “genocide” for what she said was an antipathy toward her island territory.
“I ask every American that has love, and not hate in their hearts, to stand with Puerto Rico and let this President know we WILL NOT BE LEFT TO DIE,” the mayor said in a statement she sent to Rep. Luis V. Gutierrez, Illinois Democrat, and asked him to publicize on Capitol Hill.
“I ask the United Nations, UNICEF and the world to stand with the people of Puerto Rico and stop the genocide that will result from the lack of appropriate action of a President that just does not get it because he has been incapable of looking in our eyes and seeing the pride that burns fiercely in our hearts and souls,” the mayor continued.

Perhaps one teensy-weensy factoid tidbit that most folks overlooked. It was 107-degrees in Phoenix and still the event was packed. Hundreds were lined up outside.
Well. Yes. I’m sorry. CNN does in fact primarily suck. Facts in evidence, your honor.
Whilst present President Trump dared to speak the obvious about one particular Arizona senator. And his impact upon “repeal and replace.” Damn him.
PHOENIX — President Trump taunted Sen. John McCain on his home turf Tuesday, repeatedly telling a boisterous rally that they were just one vote away from repealing Obamacare.
“We were one vote away. Think of it —seven years. one vote away from repeal,” said Mr. Trump, holding up his index finger.
Mr. Trump never mentioned by name Mr. McCain, the Arizona Republican who cast the deciding no vote in a 49-51 vote that killed the repeal-and-replace bill. But the hometown crowd knew exactly who the president was talking about.
Not like that was important or anything.
“One vote away,” said Mr. Trump, again raising his index finger. “I will not mention any names. Very presidential, isn’t it?”
“And nobody wants me to talk about your other senator who is weak on borders, weak on crime. So I won’t’ talk about him,” said Mr. Trump. “Nobody wants me to talk about him. Nobody knows who the hell he is. So now — I haven’t mentioned any names — so now everybody is happy.”
Here is the Washington Post’s biased and edited version of the rally with some salient points apparently mistakenly included. Because sometimes what the American Media Maggots consider a loss is truly a win.
Then former Barack Hussein Obama lapdog DNI/Apologist/Liar James Clapper weighed in on the Trump rally. A few salient points: 1) Who cares what he thinks, and 2) Why is he even consulted? Oh yeah. That’s right. Because he has the perfect slanted view for CNN. Buttressing Memes 101.
