And here’s an interesting note. Is it due to the focus on FISA courts or is it because of a disinterest in working with the Trump administration? From ZDNet.com:
In Trump’s first year, FISA court denied record number of surveillance orders
by Zack Whittaker
More surveillance orders were denied during President Donald Trump’s first year in office than in the court’s history.
In its first year, the Trump administration kept one little-known courtroom in the capital busy.
A secretive Washington DC-based court that oversees the US government’s foreign spy programs denied more surveillance orders during President Donald Trump’s first year than in the court’s 40-year history, according to newly released figures.
Why would that be?
Annual data published Wednesday by the US Courts shows that the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance (FISA) Court last year denied 26 applications in full, and 50 applications in part.
That’s compared to 21 orders between when the court was first formed in 1978 and President Barack Obama’s final year in office in 2016.
That’s a rejection rate of 0.11 percent to date.
Okay, why?
Specific reasons for the modifications were not given, but they can include changing who or what is surveilled and for what length.
Or is it simply a Deep State political reaction?
What you may not know is this: going to the FISA court customarily equated to a Grand Jury and a ham sandwich.
It used to be the premiere federal law enforcement agency. I worked for the FBI. They are a proud organization used to adhering to the triad of Fidelity, Bravery and Integrity.
They are no longer so. Mid-to-upper level management — particularly James Brien Comey — ensured most of the trust the organization garnered in decades past has “left the building.”
The 7th floor couldn’t be more corrupt. Oh wait, yes it could. James Comey could walk back there for a visit.
It is now revealed: the FBI paid for the dossier. Cash. Your hard-earned American Taxpayer dollars. For oppo research. You know the rest. From the WashingtonTimes.com:
FBI hired dossier author Steele to investigate Trump, fired him for lying about media leaks
by Rowan Scarborough
The FBI officially authorized payments to Christopher Steele, who wrote the infamous Trump–Russia dossier, but then fired the former British spy for lying to agents about his covert leaks to the news media.
That’s a rather heady first paragraph.
Direct linkage from the FBI to the dossier. In terms of cash money. Paid. For oppo research. And former FBI agent Josh Campbell expects us to cry buckets of tears because he feels offended that the FBI has somehow become diminished in the eyes of the American public. Suck it up, buttercup. Your “leadership” put you there. I drink your disingenuous tears. You can pull the Martyr Bayonet out of your chest now. It ain’t playing and, worse, it’s poor stage blood.
The sequence of events is outlined in the declassified memo released Friday by Rep. Devin Nunes, California Republican and chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
The Nunes memo is the first official confirmation that the FBI hierarchy made a decision to start paying Mr. Steele and why the deal fell through. Justice Department witnesses in public have declined to confirm such a deal.
But wait. Hasn’t it been the various guilty parties who’ve insisted our alphabet agencies are strictly secular and have no political inclinations whatsoever? Like, say, the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, et al?
James Clapper unmasked members of Congress for Barack Hussein Obama.
Didn’t James Clapper unmask Donald John Trump?
These cuts, of course, are conveniently forgotten and purposely avoided by the American Media Maggots because they doesn’t “fit.” You know why.
The memo shows that the bureau was using Mr. Steele’s unverified Democratic Party-financed dossier not only to obtain a court-ordered wiretap on Trump volunteer Carter Page, but it also wanted a commitment to a longer-term financial agreement with the former British intelligence officer to continue investigating President Trump.
If he had not lied, Mr. Steele, who vowed to ruin the Trump candidacy, could have been investigating Mr. Trump from the postelection transition into his presidency.
Your FBI at work, continuing to cement the relationship between — wait. What?
Apparently Leftists fervently believe we have no memory or access to this kind of unusual thingie called the internet. Where moments in time can live in perpetuity.
More damning yet is this:
Mr. Steele denied to the FBI that he was feeding his discredited information to the press. But on Oct. 30, 2016, an article in Mother Jones magazine quoted an unidentified former spy — who was obviously Mr. Steele — discussing his dossier and the FBI investigation.
The narrative is laid out in the Nunes memo. It notes that at the time the FBI sought the Page warrant on Oct. 21 “the FBI had separately authorized payment to Steele” for the same information the bureau submitted to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court for the warrant. Mr. Steele wrote his last election dossier memo on Oct. 19, apparently ending his $160,000 in payments from Fusion GPS, the investigative firm that had hired him to produce the dossier.
How wonderful for you. Paying taxpayer dollars for the device that a politicized FBI and DOJ via the NSA decided to weaponize against, first, an American citizen (in violation of section 702), a presidential candidate and then an actual sitting president because — do we know precisely when the surveillance stopped?
No. We do not. But this is also important:
The dossier was exclusively funded by Democrats beginning in June 2016 through Fusion GPS, according to court and congressional hearings. The Washington Free Beacon had paid Fusion for Trump opposition research but broke off that arrangement in April.
Featuring Right thinking from a left brain, doing the job the American Media Maggots won’t, embracing ubiquitous, sagacious perspicacity and broadcasting behind enemy lines in Occupied Fornicalia from the veritable Belly of the Beast, the Bill Mill in Sacramento, Fornicalia, I continue to proffer my thanks to the SHR Media Network for allowing me to utilize their studio and hijack their air twice weekly, Tuesdays and Thursdays, thanks to my shameless contract, as well as appear on the Sack Heads Radio Show each Wednesday evening.
For the first hour we spoke to Dave Milner, the Unpleasant Blind Guy who isn’t. I mean, he’s blind, yes, but he’s not unpleasant. He brought us up to speed on the group Britain First who, it turns out, is far from being on the up-and-up as a “pro-UK” group.

And it’s what I’ve been saying and writing for months.
Sara Carter said it Friday night on the Sean Hannity show. The headline from Hannity.com:
BOMBSHELL: Clinton-Financed Russia Dossier USED TO SPY on Trump Campaign
The unverified dossier alleging connections between President Trump’s campaign and the Russians was used as evidence by the FBI to gain approval from a secret court to monitor members of Trump’s team, this reporter has learned.
A large portion of the evidence presented in the salacious 35-page dossier put together by former British spy Christopher Steele, has either been proven wrong or remains unsubstantiated. However, the FBI gained approval nevertheless to surveil members of Trump’s campaign and “it’s outrageous and clearly should be thoroughly investigated,” said a senior law enforcement source, with knowledge of the process.
Was the DNC/Clinton campaign-funded dossier used to obtain warrants on Trump team from the secret court?
Multiple sources told this reporter that the dossier was used along with other evidence to obtain the warrant from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, known as FISC. The sources also stressed that there will be more information in the coming week regarding systemic “FISA abuse.”
“(The dossier) certainly played a role in obtaining the warrant,” added another senior U.S. official, with knowledge of the dossier. “Congress needs to look at the FBI officials who were handling this case and see what, if anything, was verified in the dossier. I think an important question is whether the FBI paid anything to the source for the dossier.”
Representative Matt Gaetz (R, FLA) said it was “outrageous” if the FBI used the “dossier” to justify a FISA court warrant request.
Which, well, yes, apparently they did.
On Wednesday, Sean Hannity said he has also independently confirmed that the dossier was used to obtain the FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) warrant from three separate sources.
Imagine that. Not one anonymous source as is the current and common trend in American Media Maggot circles. Three.
The “dossier” is specious, already factually disproven, yet was utilized as the basis for the acquisition of surveillance warrants against those involved in the Trump presidential campaign. See: the “Fruit of the Poisonous Tree” doctrine.
NOW do you see why the FBI has been stonewalling? NOW do you see why the DOJ has been stonewalling?
Are you beginning to see, as Leftists are wont to say, how we “connect the dots”? Dovetailing? Starting to make sense?
The specifically applicable portion in the video below begins at 4:00 and runs until 20:00. Gird thy loins.
This is what I have said. And now let me emphasize.
This will turn out to be the greatest black mark on the history of DC politics.
This is in fact indicative of a soft coup against a president campaign, a president-elect and a sitting president.
A soft coup. In America. In your country. In my country.
Committed by the Leftists, Demorats, the FBI, the DOJ and other governmental elements hostile to Conservatives.
A coup to overthrow one man, one campaign, because they did not agree with his politics and feared his efficacy.
Oh my, will there ever be more to come.
I truly believe this is the veritable TIP of the ICEBERG. This was far more than a mere RICO, this was an intricately interwoven purposeful and end-goal-designed SOFT COUP on an AMERICAN presidential candidate and now a sitting president. This is pure out-and-out treason.
