According to a pair of recent polls, for the first time since the 9/11 terrorist hijackings, Americans are more fearful their government will abuse constitutional liberties than fail to keep its citizens safe.
A Fox News survey polling a random national sample of 619 registered voters the day after the bombing found despite the tragic event, those interviewed responded very differently than following 9/11.
For the first time since a similar question was asked in May 2001, more Americans answered “no” to the question, “Would you be willing to give up some of your personal freedom in order to reduce the threat of terrorism?”
A similar poll sampling 588 adults, conducted on April 17 and 18 for the Washington Post, also discovered the change in attitude.
“Which worries you more,” the Post asked, “that the government will not go far enough to investigate terrorism because of concerns about constitutional rights, or that it will go too far in compromising constitutional rights in order to investigate terrorism?”
The poll found 48 percent of respondents worry the government will go too far, compared to 41 percent who worry it won’t go far enough.
Perhaps there’s just a glimmer of hope left for the nation? I wish I could say I were convinced of the trend.
But, as with the Leftist doctrine of the American Media Maggots, this information and the existence of these polls remains predominantly uncovered.
SACRAMENTO, California (AP) — The California Assembly passed a bill on Thursday that would make the state the first in the nation to allow non-citizens who are in the country legally to serve on jury duty.
Assemblyman Bob Wieckowski, D-Fremont, said his bill, AB1401, would help California widen the pool of prospective jurors and help integrate immigrants into the community.
Great. Now Fornicalia will have illegal immigrants deciding capital cases and bringing their biases against laws — being lawbreakers themselves — into the jury room.
Assemblywoman Diane Harkey, R-Dana Point, said there is no shortage of jurors.
“Jury selection is not the problem. The problem is trial court funding,” Harkey said before the vote. “I hope we can focus on that. Let’s not break something; it’s not broken now. Let’s not whittle away at what is reserved for U.S. citizens. There’s a reason for it.”
Copy that. The jury system isn’t broken — but, hell, the Demorats are bent on breaking it anyway.
But wait; we can’t leave the federal government out of the insanity equation, can we? Doesn’t Attorney General Holder have to weigh in on illegal immigrant invaders? Of course he does. From FoxNews.com, Holder essentially calls citizenship for illegals a “civil right.”
During a April 24th speech to the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Attorney General Eric Holder said that creating a “pathway to earned citizenship” was a “civil right.”
“Creating a pathway to earned citizenship for the 11 million unauthorized immigrants in this country is essential. The way we treat our friends and neighbors who are undocumented – by creating a mechanism for them to earn citizenship and move out of the shadows – transcends the issue of immigration status. This is a matter of civil and human rights. It is about who we are as a nation. And it goes to the core of our treasured American principle of equal opportunity.”
However, fear not: we’re just talking about a measly ten or eleven million illegal Mexicans, aren’t we? In a country of 311 million persons?
The pending Senate immigration bill would bring a minimum of 33 million people into the country during its first decade of operation, according to an analysis by NumbersUSA, a group that wants to slow the current immigration rate.
By 2024, the inflow would include an estimated 9.2 million illegal immigrants, plus 2.5 million illegals who arrived as children — dubbed ‘Dreamers’ — plus roughly 3.4 million company-sponsored employees with university degrees, said the unreleased analysis.
The majority of the inflow, or roughly 17 million people, would consist of family members of illegals, recent immigrants and of company-sponsored workers, according to the NumbersUSA analysis provided to The Daily Caller.
So there you have it. Aren’t you absolutely adrip with orgasmic joy that the federal government is following in the footsteps of Looney Fornicalia?
Matter of fact, I think I have an idea for a new DC bill; it would be called the Shared Home Act. In this bill each American Taxpayer, Caucasoid in nature, would be mandated to share their home with an illegal invader family, at the homeowner’s expense, so that they would begin to understand the dire plight and sad circumstances of illegals who haven’t yet been given their own free home.
I think it could work. Hell, we’re halfway there already, are we not?

P.S.
Might it now be the time to posit this action: what if the rest of us in the nation collectively decided that we would obey only the laws that were convenient for us? I might suggest this first: the cessation of paying taxes. Because, after all, if one strata of persons can be literally rewarded for breaking laws, then why can’t you and I?
Every day you say: “It can’t get any more insane.”

The federal Treasury expects to collect a record $2.712 trillion in taxes on Americans and U.S. business this year, shattering the 2007 high of $2.5 trillion in taxes.
Despite the sputtering economy and sustained high unemployment, the fine print in President Obama’s budget belatedly presented Wednesday revealed that the administration expects to take more in taxes than the Congressional Budget Office projects. CBO put the 2013 estimate at $2.708 trillion.
But wait; weren’t and aren’t we consistently told by Mr Obama that we need to pay more taxes because — well — we are simply undertaxed, one and all? Don’t more of us have to step up to the plate in order to keep a morsel of food in the mouths of starving American children?
That said, how can it be that we are set to collect more taxes for this country than in its entire history?
Somehow, those two concepts simply don’t equate. They don’t make sense. They are, shall we say, incongruent.
On any number of levels.
First, let me pull out some basic stops. There is an American Myth of “starving children.” I call bullshit. There are no “starving children” in this nation. Instead, there are obese children and their equally obese parents or, in the case of many, parent (singular). I don’t see Biafran-like children skelled over on the sidewalks of our cities. I don’t see the skeletons of starved infants splayed across the venues of our American Media Maggots because — if there WERE — you would see such a thing heralded and trumpeted not just for weeks but for months on the DEM/AMM channels ad nauseum.
This trumpeting doesn’t occur because the situation doesn’t exist.
The so-called “poor” in this nation drive a Lexus, possess an EBT card which yields lobster. Check the receipt below.
They have their housing subsidized, their healthcare subsidized, their furniture subsidized, their children subsidized, possess a smartphone, a flatscreen TV, the internet subsidized, free schooling, free breakfasts, lunches and dinners for their children, free transportation, and free higher education. And they don’t quite have to work if they feel diffident about it.
They possess sufficient time to war upon themselves, copulate readily and produce banks of children at will who become abandoned to the state when convenient, are responsible for nothing, are considered an entirely victimized class, are soothed and coddled and expected to produce or support nothing.
They, literally, have no expectations whatsoever placed upon them save that of the unresolved victim class. They have their Victimhood hammered into their heads at all levels and for many years.
They are a Permanent Underclass and raped by the Leftists and Demorats who purposely support their ignorant, arrogant and barbaric ways. These denizens have their ruffled fur smoothed, licked, groomed, and their ticks eliminated by the Taxpayers of our nation. And they get testy when their fur isn’t sufficiently clean in a remarkably small amount of time.
But isn’t it odd that this seeming “underclass” possesses material goods and objects of a much higher level than I possess as an American Taxpayer?
And yet, Mr Obama and his minions are shouting to the treetops that we need — we must — make the minimum wage a “living wage.”
Because, after all, the ignorant tattooed and pierced shite who presses the CHEESEBURGER icon at McDonalds should and must make as much money as an entry-level firefighter, say.
The head of U.S. tire maker Titan launched a vitriolic attack on French productivity after the country’s socialist government suggested he buy a tire factory in the north of France.
“How stupid do you think we are?” wrote Maurice Taylor, in a letter to French Industry Minister Arnaud Montebourg, obtained by French business newspaper Les Echos on Wednesday.
Montebourg had asked the U.S. mogul to take over a Goodyear tire factory that is due to close.
“I have visited that factory a couple of times. The French workforce gets paid high wages, but works only three hours. They get one hour for breaks and lunch, talk for three and work for three hours,” he wrote.
“I told this to the French union workers to their faces. They told me that’s the French way!”
Keep on the same path and you’ll find, in America, the same robust productivity as France.
