CBO: ObamaKare to remove SEVEN MILLION Americans from their job-based health insurance

Obama Care LineThis is, of course, according to my Leftist Trolls and hackers, a completely inaccurate portrayal of ObakaKare except that — ahem — it’s not; here is the CBO report.

Even NBCNews reports:

The new health care reform law is not going to provide health insurance for as many people, at least not as quickly, as the Obama administration had hoped, according to the latest look at the economy from the Congressional Budget Office.

That’s mostly because of the deal Congress made last month to keep the country from going over the fiscal cliff, the CBO says. About 8 million people who would have been insured by their employers will probably lose their coverage because of tax changes, the CBO projects.

It takes away some of the tax breaks that employers get for providing health insurance to workers and their families. The change “will lead to a greater reduction in such coverage and higher enrollment in insurance exchanges than previously estimated by CBO,” the report reads.

Please let me appropriately remind everyone of the words issued from the lips of Barack Hussein Obama in 2009:

It was a lie then and it’s a lie now.  Not simply a “falsehood” or a “misunderstanding” or a “fabrication” — make no mistake — it was a purposeful LIE.  For those of you who may have just tuned in: A LIE.

If you wish to see what a good bulk of major urban blacks think about Mr Obama and his ObamaKare, then click here.  I would have embedded the video but YouTube has DISABLED embedding.  Why?  Because the video makes blacks and the woman featured appear as idiots.  I say: YouTube need not worry; the public display of parasitism by deep urban blacks speaks for itself.  You need not look further than the city of Chicago, home of Mr Obama.  Murder Capital, per capita, of the United States.  By blacks.  On blacks.  Despite some of the most onerous gun laws in the entire nation.  Oh my God.  Did I just write the truth?  I should be horse-whipped.

That said, NBC reluctantly reports:

But overall, instead of 32 million to 34 million new people getting health insurance by 2017, probably only about 27 million people will be covered by then, the CBO projects.

Additionally, Kaiser Permanente reports:

Feb 06, 2013

About 7 million people, nearly double the earlier estimates, will no longer get health insurance from their employers because of changes to the tax code made by the health law, according to CBO projections.

The Wall Street Journal’s Washington Wire: Why CBO Figures More Employers Will Drop Health Coverage
The Congressional Budget Office says the year-end fiscal cliff deal that preserved lower tax rates for most households produced a little-noticed side-effect: Fewer people will get health insurance from their employer over the next decade. That nugget of economic thinking pops up in the nonpartisan office’s annual update of its budget and economic forecast (Radnofsky, 2/5).

The Fiscal Times: 7 Million Will Lose Employee Coverage Under Obamacare
A new report from the Congressional Budget Office estimates that nearly 7 million people will lose their employer-based health insurance coverage under President Obama’s signature health care law, nearly twice the previous estimate. Changes to the tax code under Obamacare, said the CBO, have altered the incentives for the business sector, which will likely prefer to pay the penalty rather than the cost of workers’ health insurance. Overall, 27 million people are expected to gain coverage by 2017, roughly 5 million less than originally projected (Ehley, 2/5).

The Hill also writes about the true cost of ObakaKare:

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimated Tuesday that President Obama’s signature healthcare law will cost about $1.3 trillion over the next 10 years.

The figure represents a slight increase since August, when the nonpartisan budget office estimated that the law would cost about $1.17 trillion before 2022.

Right.  That’s only a “slight increase” of $130 BILLION DOLLARSAs of this calculation.  Today.  What do you suspect next month might bring, pray tell?

But fear not, ladies and gentlemen, because if you happen to lose your employer-based health coverage, you can pick up the lowest level government family plan for around $20 THOUSAND DOLLARS a YEAR, according to the IRS.  See the issued IRS regulation here.

A grand bargain at twice the price, yes?

So at a time when you’re worried about the cost of your healthcare — if you work — you’re about to be confronted with this paradigm: when you are removed from your employer’s healthcare roll.  And then, according to the IRS, your family begins paying $1,666 a month for the most basic of care.

That Mr Obama, what a great president!

US Sheriffs: coalescing around taking a stand AGAINST further gun control

I wish my sheriff were one of these involved but, on the Left Coast, it’s a Death Knell if you make anything other than a 100% PC statement regarding the issue.  Better yet, staying completely silent is the best option — as is his default here.  The state of Fornicalia is controlled by Leftists who solely vote Demorat — as the Supermajority in Sacramento testifies.  My Sheriff, as of this writing, is conspicuously absent from the list below.

That said, I proffer this positive insight of county Sheriffs supporting the 2nd Amendment:

P.S.

As of this publishing, I find it disheartening that there are only 12 Texas Sheriffs on the list, whilst there are 17 Fornicalia Sheriffs on the list — considering there are only 58 counties in Fornicalia, and there are 254 in Texas.  I submit: as goes Fornicalia so go Leftists.  But, on the other hand, as goes Texas so go Conservatives.

I can certainly account for the larger Fornicalia county Sheriffs not being listed here: they have massive populations in urban areas primarily consisting of those dependent upon government Free Cheese largesse, with greater gang activity, higher “minority” loads (though, in Fornicalia, the Caucasoid is in truth the statistical minority), and held accountable to a Leftist Voting Block.

One black man weighs in:

But do we listen to him?

No we don’t.  Because he dares to tell the truth.

Who’s the house negro?  The slave from the crack cup of liberal propaganda? This man?  Or the bulk of blacks who bought Obama’s rap to the tune of a hook, line and a sinker?

It’s just a question; these are just words.

Words that no one wants to hear.

Ending the 22nd Amendment: not just specious “Right-Wing conspiracy theories”

Obama Destroying US ConstitutionIt’s fact, it’s right in front of our faces and — yes — desired by the Left.  As introduced by Demorat Jose Serrano of NY:

U.S. Rep. Josè Serrano, D-N.Y., once again quietly introduced a resolution that would allow President Obama or any president to serve an unlimited number of terms, according to a report.

According to GovTrack.US, Rep. Serrano introduced House Joint Resolution 15 on Friday. The resolution is described as:

“Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the twenty-second article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President.”

This resolution was assigned to a congressional committee on January 4, 2013, which would have to consider it before it would be sent to the House or Senate.

The bill was a reintroduction of House Joint Resolution 17 presented by Rep. Serrano in 2011. That resolution was never sent to committee.

So: why not allow an unlimited number of presidential terms?

Because, in my opinion, the wants of the bulk of the electorate just became abundantly clear this past November of 2012: give us more state and federal FREE CHEESE.  The parasites in the country are, now, roughly numerically on par with the hosts.  The producers and the consumers.  Taxpayers and non-taxpayers.

The national hard drive has been corrupted: corrupted by the elitist Worms in DC and the spreading Virus of Free Cheese.

Don’t you find it odd that the only persons who want the 22nd Amendment abolished are those on the Left?  And don’t you find it odd that the only presidential term under which the bill is introduced is that of Mr Obama’s?

Because, after all, there’s never any veracity to those incredibly crazy and suspect Right Wing Conspiracy Theories.

Is there?

BZ

P.S.
The 22nd Amendment reads, in full:

Amendment XXII

Section 1.

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.

Section 2.

This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several states within seven years from the date of its submission to the states by the Congress.

Boehner’s Plan B

Kabuki TheatreJohn Boehner is going to get the GOP to violate their pledge to not raise taxes, via his Plan B.  The DEM/MSM is already portraying Beoehner as having “conceded” on Wednesday.

Boehner will let the Demorats have their way, and then call it a victory.  I quantify it via one word only: capitulation.

George HW Bush broke his word to the taxpayers in 1988, in re “read my lips: no new taxes.”  And it ended his tenure.  Bang.

Yes, the Republicans cannot block tax increases.  But apparently they may sign off on Obama’s will to cut another $100 BILLION dollars from defense.  That is insanity personified — if for no other reason than because of the profligate manner in which Obama himself is applying our American military in numerous theaters around the planet.

And none — none — of the Republicans apparently have the huevos to publicly stand against Boehner and stand on a refusal to increase taxes.  With a singular exception: I listened to Marco Rubio speak on Hannity’s show indicating so.

Hugh Hewitt and his callers excoriated Plan B.  He wrote on Wednesday:

Plan B raises taxes.

A yes vote on Plan B violates the pledge many if not all GOP candidates took, and convoiuted logic won’t change that and Grover’s pardon won’t matter.

After the routine violations of the “Pledge to America” of 2010, GOP credibility is in tatters.

MSM will begin every story on taxes for the next two years with “The GOP once before broke its pledge not to raise taxes, so…”

Plan B cuts defense by $100 billion.

Plan B won’t pass the Senate.

So why exactly did this get pushed forward, without consultation with the Senate leadership and without any chance for the GOP base to weigh in?  At what point does GOP leadership figure out the “representative” part of their job?

This is a huge, indeed potentially catastrophic mistake, and the Speaker ought to withdraw the plan and send everyone home with a vow to make any tax cuts in the new year retroactive.  We will go over the president’s cliff, but the GOP will have some credibility left and may yet remember that the party of Reagan defends the military that defends us and, crucially, doesn’t raise taxes.

Thank you Hugh.  Precisely.

The Fed has already said it will print a TRILLION dollars next year.  Inflation is going to hit, in 2013, in a way and manner that harkens back to 1980 — where I was paying 12% for a home loan with a minimum of 20% down, and vehicle loans hovered around 20% to 25% or more.  Or worse.  Much worse.

Recognize this: HALF of the people in the US don’t have a mortgage, so the elimination of the mortgage deduction means nothing to the bulk of the Free Cheese electorate.  But what might you then conclude about the already-poor health of the housing market if this deduction is eliminated?

Boehner is not taking this crisis seriously.  Obama is not taking this crisis seriously.  No one in Congress is taking this crisis seriously.

Let me state things as bluntly as possible: these assholes have no skin in the game and play, cavalierly, with your “skin.”  That is because Congress does and has historically exempted itself from the bulk of the bills it passes — plus —  by the time each individual has reached DC they have a sufficient layer of fiscal scams and insularity as to guarantee their continued profit but upon retirement.  There is always another high-paying job awaiting for Congress Critters because that is their nature and their history and their linkage.

Congress simply has no skin in the game.  And they are not held to answer save “censure” or harsh language or perhaps a bit of sarcasm or temporary embarrassment via some red cheeks.

This is generational theft.  This is immoral.  It borders on actual evil because it is planned and plotted and designed and calculated to the Nth degree.

Make no mistake: on both sides of the aisle.

It’s all Kabuki Theater at this point.
