Berkeley Councilman Proposes Email Tax To Fund Postal Service

BERKELEY (CBS SF) – A Berkeley city councilman has suggested that a tax on email may be a wise way to help fund the United States Postal Service, according to the blog Berkeleyside.

District 8 Supervisor Gordon Wozniak, who represents an area that includes the Claremont Hotel and the eastern end of the UC Berkeley campus, made the comments Tuesday as city officials moved to halt the sale of a Post Office building on Allston Way due to a decline in business.

But shoot, the tax would only be teensy-weensy:

“There should be something like a bit tax. I mean a bit tax could be a cent per-gigabit and they would still make, probably, billions of dollars a year.  And there should be, also, a very tiny tax on email,” Wozniak said at Tuesday’s meeting.

Nineteen Eighty-Four, here we come, freedoms-a-vanishing!

Let’s just serve up a heaping helping of US citizens as collective Frogs In The Boiling Pot, eh?

There is a “direct correlation between gun control and black people control”

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, a video that not only haven’t you seen but one that you purposely will NEVER see on ANY so-called “mainstream media” channels, outlets or venues.  And for obvious reasons: here are blacks supporting the 2nd Amendment and the US Constitution but not the Demorats, Mr Barack Hussein Obama or his policies.

Please listen closely to the words of the last man speaking, the Reverend William Owens Jr., founder of God, Guns & the Constitution:

“This current administration is far from the truth.  This agenda is becoming more and more obvious to all.  That it’s a distraction, it’s a reason, it’s an excuse, to carry out an ideology that is more evident every day and every week that goes by, that it is anti-American.  And when you touch the Second Amendment, you can’t become more anti-American — because America would not be without her guns, and guns would not be necessary without her God.  We call upon Americans, both black, white, hispanics, Republicans, Democrats, Independents and even those who are not of our faith to agree upon this: without God, without guns, without the Constitution, America’s end will come with haste.  For when they change our Constitution, they will take our guns.  And when they take our guns they will also seek to take our God.  That’s when Americans will fight back.”

Obama DHS Purchases 2,700 Light-Armored Tanks to Go With Their 1.6 Billion Bullet Stockpile

This is getting a little creepy.
According to one estimate, since last year the Department of Homeland Security has stockpiled more than 1.6 billion bullets, mainly .40 caliber and 9mm.

DHS also purchased 2,700 Mine Resistant Armor Protected Vehicles (MRAP).

What is an MRAP vehicle?  It would be this:

MRAPIt is, essentially — at 14+ tons — a tank on wheels.  And a very far cry from the standard LE Lenco BearCat which is popular with law enforcement agencies across the nation regarding SWAT and other specialized applications/units.  See the Lenco BearCat, at 8.5 tons.

Lenco BearCatI’d say there was an — ahem — massive difference between the two vehicles.

This isn’t the hated or disgusted InfoWars; it’s something of a mainstream Conservative reporter wondering what is happening.

You’d have to be brain-dead to think there isn’t some purposeful activity occurring within the continental United States — and it doesn’t have anything to do with the adherence to the Bill of Rights of the Constitution — but instead with the abrogation thereof.

I wrote, earlier, about the issues here:

Many of my federal contacts are surprisingly short of comment.  With one or two exceptions.  But mostly they are silent.  It is somewhat unlike them.

But I would posit a few questions that I’ve no doubt asked before:

Why so many rounds?
Why so many vehicles?
Why so militarily-oriented?
Why no explanation?

Frankly, I simply don’t hear any answers to these questions.  Nor do I hear the questions asked in any kind of a public forum.

I’ll ask these questions and answer them in a future post, using logic, common sense, rationality, proportion and history.

P.S.
Finally, let’s divide this purchase.  2,700 vehicles parsed amongst 50 states = 54 MRAP vehicles per state.

Look for them to be distributed and parked either in LE agency lots or in NG lots.

AMM - American Media Maggots 1A long time ago, I was a “journalist” myself.  I worked for a major Fornicalia radio station and was sent to any number of events in order to cover them.  My reports didn’t include personal biases because I had actual Editors.  Any personal “bias” was simply removed.  I was limited to facts and reality.

Today, that paradigm has changed entirely.  “Journalists” are nothing more than parrots and copiers of whatever fecal material stems from DC and White House press releases.

In a sentence: the AMM are in the tank for Mr Obama and his wife Michelle.

ABC defends editing Michelle Obama’s ‘automatic weapon’ claim

ABC is defending its decision to edit out an apparently erroneous claim by Michelle Obama in its broadcast of the first lady’s interview on Good Morning America today, saying it made the changes “solely” for the sake of time.

Michelle Obama said, regarding a Chicago shooting:

“She was standing out in a park with her friends in a neighborhood blocks away from where my kids…grew up, where our house is. She had just taken a chemistry test. And she was caught in the line of fire because some kids had some automatic weapons they didn’t need,” she said. “I just don’t want to keep disappointing our kids in this country. I want them to know that we put them first.”

So-called “automatic weapons”?

Uh, no.  I call bullshit.  And I smell it though my nose is predominantly ineffective.  A massive lie.

The truth is here:

In fact, Chicago Police reported Pendleton was shot by a man who “opened fire with a handgun before fleeing in a waiting car,” according to the Associated Press.

But, of course, the American Media Maggots can’t be seen to report accurately as to Michelle Obama’s inaccuracy, her bias, her ineffectiveness, her anti-Gun agenda, her transparent Leftist leanings.

The “so-called ‘truth’ ” on ABC?

ABC News commented on its editing choice this afternoon, telling Mediaite, “The full story was posted to our website in advance of the interview being broadcast. The edits made to Robin’s interview with the First Lady were made solely for time.”

Right.  “Edited for time.”

How about: “edited for corruption?”
