Chuck Todd on MSNBC’s Morning Joe said:

“This poll is a disaster for the president.  You look at the presidency here: Lowest job rating, tied for the lowest; lowest on foreign policy. His administration is seen as less competent than the Bush administration, post-Katrina.  On the issue of do you believe he can still lead? A majority believe no. Essentially the public is saying your presidency is over.”

As the Cheneys wrote in the Wall Street Journal this week, “rarely has a US president been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many.”

Are the rats starting to flee Obama’s sinking Ship of State?

Never Obama’s fault: Hagel thrown under the bus for Bergdahl

Obama Driving the BusIsn’t it amazing how Mr Obama is never really responsible for anything that occurs in his administration?  Luckily, it’s always the fault of “someone else” instead of Mr Barack Hussein Obama.  As some have said, it’s good to be proficient but it’s equally good or truly better to have excellent luck as well.

Mr Obama seems to have great continuing amounts of luck because, as it turns out, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel actually personally made the call to trade five Taliban leaders for Sgt Bowe Bergdahl, not Barack Hussein Obama.

Mr Obama is saved once again.  This is indeed reassuring, is it not?

Isn’t it odd that the trade of five Taliban leaders for Sgt Bowe Bergdahl was, according to DC, simply a good thing at the outset.  Nobody noticed.  Move on.

  • Congress learned on Monday that Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel gave final approval for the prisoner exchange that freed Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl
  • Last week, Hagel said the swap was a unanimous decision made by senior officials
  • Hagel is expected to defend the prisoner exchange on Wednesday in an appearance before the House Armed Services Committee

And now that Bergdahl’s primacy was due to his health, and then due to his jeopardy, there is now a NEW meme created by DC: “it’s not Obama’s fault.”

Nor should it be — when Barack Hussein Obama has any number of martyrs and kamikazes set in place in order to politically ricochet negative issues off of his tough hide.

To keep him safe and sipping calm soup nightly.

Sometimes sacrifices have to be made.

– Father John: Sacrifices have to be made, mister.  These people are at war!
– Harry: So am I.
– Father John: How dare you pull a gun in the house of God.  If you don’t believe in the sanctity of the church —
– Harry: I don’t have time to argue religion with you, boy.

And I don’t have time to posit anything but: Hagel, thrown under the DC Political Bus by Mr Obama.

CBO Study: Health care overhaul will cost 2.3 million full-time jobs

WASHINGTON (AP) — Several million American workers will reduce their hours on the job or leave the workforce entirely because of incentives built into President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul, the Congressional Budget Office said Tuesday.

That would mean losses equal to 2.3 million full-time jobs by 2021, in large part because people would opt to keep their income low to stay eligible for federal health care subsidies or Medicaid, the agency said. It had estimated previously that the law would lead to 800,000 fewer jobs by that year.

Yes.  ObamaKare is an abortion.

It’s the latest indication that “the president’s health care law is destroying full-time jobs,” said Republican Rep. John Kline of Minnesota, chairman of the House Education and the Workforce Committee. “This fatally flawed health care scheme is wreaking havoc on working families nationwide,” he said.

The agency sees the deficit sliding to $478 billion next year before beginning a steady rise years through 2024 that would bring the annual imbalance back above $1 trillion. Overall, it forecasts deficits totaling $7.3 trillion over the coming decade, about $1 trillion more than previously estimated.

“CBO expects that economic growth will diminish to a pace that is well below the average seen over the past several decades,” the report said, citing an aging population and a decrease in the rate of growth in the labor force.

Bolton: ‘Our Biggest National-Security Problem Is Barack Obama’

With the Obama administration grappling with a crisis in Ukraine, former United Nations ambassador John Bolton took the stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday and declared that the country’s “biggest national-security problem is Barack Obama.” 

Bolton honed in on the terror attack in Benghazi, Libya, which he described as paradigm of President Obama’s foreign-policy failures because the president “has done nothing to avenge Chris Stevens’s death.” 

“That is a terrible lesson for our adversaries,” Bolton said. “Under Barack Obama you can murder his personal representative and get away scot-free.” 

Absolutely correct.  Having worked around felons for over 40 years, their predominant mindset is “what’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine unless you’re strong enough to stop me.”  Why is it so difficult for Leftists to understand this concept?

He also warned that the matter will come back to haunt Hillary Clinton if, as most suspect, she launches a presidential bid in 2016. “We will be happy to tell Hillary Clinton in unmistakable terms, ‘We know what difference it makes, even if you don’t,’” he said.

I should also care to offer: lack of our energy independence is also a huge — if not greater — threat to our national security.
