In the video below, a 71-year-old man at an internet cafe in Ocala, Florida on Friday, July 13th, takes umbrage with two purposely-hooded “youths” who decided to rob said cafe via handgun and baseball bat:
OCALA, Fla. — Authorities in central Florida say two men were trying to rob an Internet cafe when a 71-year-old patron began shooting his own gun, wounding the suspects.
Surveillance video shows two masked men entering the Palms Internet Cafe around 10 p.m. Friday. The Ocala Star-Banner reports one pointed a gun at customers while the other swung a baseball bat.
Nineteen-year-olds Duwayne Henderson and Davis Dawkins were later arrested and face attempted armed robbery with a firearm and criminal mischief charges. Both posted bail and were released.
The video shows patron Samuel Williams pulling a handgun and shooting. He continues firing while the suspects fall over each other as they run out the door.
Williams has a concealed weapons permit. Bill Gladson of the Marion County State Attorney’s Office says the shooting appears justified.
Because race means everything to the DEM/MSM and Leftists, I should care to point out that the aged shooter was white, and the “youths” were black.
To Mr Williams I say: nice crouch, nice two-handed Weaver stance, sir. And nice aggression. Take the fight to the enemy. Keep moving. You were textbook.

Finally, this most interesting tidbit from UK’s The Telegraph (indicating, once again, that if you wish to discover what’s really occurring in this country, I strongly suggest scouring UK news):
According to the FBI, over 1.5 million background checks on customers were requested by gun dealers to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System in December. Nearly 500,000 of those were in the six days before Christmas.
It was the highest number ever in a single month, surpassing the previous record set in November.
On Dec 23 alone there were 102,222 background checks, making it the second busiest single day for buying guns in history.
The actual number of guns bought may have been even higher if individual customers took home more than one each.
Explanations for America’s surge in gun buying include that it is a response to the stalled economy with people fearing crime waves. Another theory is that buyers are rushing to gun shops because they believetighter firearms laws will be introduced in the future.
In that light, I would suggest that under a Leftist administration such as Mr Obama’s, tighter firearms laws are an absolute guarantee. Further, I submit that you can count on a vicious clamp on ammunition, restrictions to include the types and amount of ammunition purchased and lengthy backgrounds checks, as with firearms, involving sales of rounds.
The trend had already started in 2008 (again, UK’s The Telegraph) just before the November presidential election.
“I’ve sold probably four times as much in the last six months as I have in 20 years combined,” said Cliff Hunter, owner of Tommy Bronson Sporting Goods in Memphis. “Hand guns and the tactical weapons, they’re absolutely off the charts.”
Most of his gun sales used to be for hunting, or personal protection in a city riddled with crime. But just before the November election, anxiety that Mr Obama would win and enact a radical programme of curtailing gun rights began drove business right up.
“Obama’s a liberal socialist and I think he’s proven quickly how extreme he is,” he said. “When they get through healthcare, guns are on the table. They’re not talking about it but it’s going to happen.”
The FBI recorded a 49 per cent rise in gun background checks during election week compared to the same week a year earlier.

There is an exhortation from Demorats this week — mostly Chuckie Schumer — to “stimulate” the economy BEFORE November. Translated: Obama needs help. Time to cheat and stack the deck. As Schumer said to Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke: “get to work” and instigate more “quantitative easing.” This is ObakaSpeak for more Porkulus, meaning: get those presses printing even more cash per day.
Let’s see: hitting ourselves with a ball-peen hammer on a head-wound site makes the wound heal quicker. Right? I.E., spending another massive clot of hundreds of billions of dollars will take us right out of the economic doldrums just like it did last time. Right?
It didn’t work then and it won’t work now. Where did the cash go? NO ONE KNOWS. And no one was made to ACCOUNT for all the TARP and “stimulus” funds. Hundreds of BILLIONS of dollars VANISHED — and the economy’s transmission is still stuck in REVERSE.

The SAME Bain Capital he accuses Mr Romney of Masterminding (bwaa-ha-haaa), which did nothing but crush big companies, kill small children and animals, outsource jobs, set fires in forests, slit the throats of the homeless and sack good and decent Americans.

Or how about Stephen Pagliuca? Last year, he cut a $35,800 check to Barack Obama’s Victory Fund. Then he cut another $30,800 check to the DNC. And another $30,800 check to the DCCC. Jonathan Lavine and Mark Nunnelly have both maxed out to Obama already, as well as to the DNC. Lavin was a bundler for Obama, and raised over $100,000 for him. Michael Krupka gave Obama $4,600 in 2008.”
Ladies and gentlemen, please. You have to understand what is at stake here. It isn’t simply an “election” this time. It’s about the future of this nation, its success or failure. President Barack Obama addressed supporters in Roanoke, Virginia on Saturday afternoon and took a shot at the business community. President Obama dismissed any credit business owners give themselves for their success:
There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me — because they want to give something back. They know they didn’t — look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there. (Applause.)
Mr Obama goes on to say that business creators owe massive debts to their teachers, their local bridge builder. That’s like saying I’m a good cop because my parents had milk delivered for a while to the house in the 50s. Or that we had our garbage collected by two guys on a truck once a week.
Mr Obama is so beyond the pale of human ken as to be, in my opinion, not only ludicrous but patently dangerous.
He is biased, racist, a massive Leftist, schooled at the feet of persons such as Saul Alinsky, William Ayers and of course his father, Barack Hussein Obama — a Communist.
Never has America been more assimilated, integrated, and intermarried — as is evident in everything from politics to popular culture, from statistics to anecdotes. Yet from late 2007 to 2012, Barack Obama has been establishing new rules of racial referencing. In general, his utterances follow a disheartening pattern. When he is ahead in the polls, has won an election, and is not campaigning, then he emphasizes the unity of the country. But when he is running for president, or campaigning for others, or sinking in the polls, he and his closest associates predictably revert to charges of racial bigotry, albeit usually coded and subtle. (CNSNews.com) – This year, Americans have to work until July 15 to pay for the burden of government, more than six months.
In a new report, Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) has calculated that Americans will spend a total of 197 days toiling to pay for the cost of government.
“Cost of Government Day is the date of the calendar year on which the average American worker has earned enough gross income to pay off his or her share of the spending and regulatory burden imposed by government at the federal, state and local levels,” reads the report.
The report,Cost of Government Day, shows that Americans will work 88 days to pay for federal spending; 40 days for state and local spending; and 69 days for total regulatory costs.
“From a different perspective, the cost of government makes up 54.0 percent of annual gross domestic product (GDP),” reads the report. “What’s more, the largest tax hike in the nation’s history is scheduled to take place at the end of 2012 unless Congress acts to protect taxpayers. If this tax increase is allowed to hit, COGD [Cost of Government Day] could permanently be pushed back into August and beyond.”
Yes, that’s correct.
