5.56 / .223 BATFE ammo ban halted

M885 Round, 5.56 mm (.223)Only one reason: because of pushback.

Of dissension and pushback and protest and writings and objection in the public venue.

Which is why, for example, the current US administration wishes to clamp down on your individual First Amendment and Second Amendment rights.

Because, without the Second Amendment, there is no such thing as a First Amendment.

This I fervently believe.  As a cop for 41 years and with my concomitant beliefs, I have been quantified as a terrorist — by my federal government — because I believe in our foundational documents to include the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Additionally, I am an Oathkeeper.

I revel in my classification as a terrorist because I believe in our foundational documents.  All others are nothing more than pretenders to the throne and above.

Including Barack Hussein Obama, who has an incredibly massive disregard for our national laws.

ATF says it won’t proceed with 5.56mm ammo ban

by Doug G. Ware

WASHINGTON, March 10 (UPI) — After public backlash to a proposal two weeks ago, the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on Tuesday stepped away from a proposal to outlaw the sale of armor-piercing 5.56mm ammunition.

Please see my posts here and here.

After announcing the proposal to change the bullet’s exemption status, the bureau solicited public opinion on the matter. Tuesday, in a two-paragraph news release, the agency said it will “not at this time seek to issue a final framework” for the ban — due to the largely critical response from the public.

“Although ATF endeavored to create a proposal that reflected a good faith interpretation of the law and balanced the interests of law enforcement, industry, and sportsmen, the vast majority of the comments received to date are critical of the framework,” the bureau said, adding that some of the comments raised issues that warrant further examination.

Common sense won out.  Temporarily.

Trust that Leftists are coming for your firearms.

If they are not now successful, they will never give up.

Plain and simple.

In any way possible.

Muslim woman smacks male Imam on TV

As well she should.  First, the video:

Then, a bit of transcript, so all may see what an arrogant prick Hani Al-Siba’i truly is:

Al-Siba’i: “What kind of behavior is this?!”

Karaki: “Please don’t get all worked up. We respect you and know you want to give a complete answer. Unfortunately, we have limited time –”

Al-Sibai: “I agreed with Mr. Ibrahim Harbi –”

Karaki: “Fine, go on. They’ve given us more time.”

Al-Siba’i: “I agreed with him that you wouldn’t cut me off.”

Karaki: “Enough with that, go on –”

Al-Siba’i: “You think you’re so high and mighty?!”

Karaki: “Go on, but do not call me names.”

Al-Siba’i: “I am serving the idea in which I believe.”

Karaki: “In this studio, I run the show. For your own benefit, I’m telling you that we are running out of time. If you are going to elaborate so much, we won’t have time for other questions. If we start discussing history, we won’t have enough time for our topic. Now, it’s up to you. If we have time, you will answer all the questions, but I will be the one to decide.”

Al-Siba’i: “You can decide as much as you like, but I will do whatever I want.”

Karaki: “Okay, let us hear your answer. Let’s get back to the topic rather than waste time arguing.”

Al-Siba’i: “Are you done? Shut up so I can talk. I am talking so that people can understand – ”

Karaki: “How can a respected sheikh like yourself tell a TV host to shut up?!”

Al-Siba’i: “I am respected whether you like it or not –”

Karaki: “Enough. Let’s wrap this up.”

Al-Siba’i: “It’s beneath me to be interviewed by you. You are a woman who – ”

Karaki: “Just one second. Either there is mutual respect, or the conversation is over.”

Mutual respect — of women — by a Muslim male and specifically an Imam?

Perish the thought.

Ferguson out of control:

FERGUSON BLUE LIVES MATTERThe Ferguson Police Department is the last department that officers throughout this nation would want to belong to.

Despite the fact that Officer Darren Wilson was completely exonerated, two officers were shot on Thursday.

From CNN.com:

State, county police take over Ferguson protest security after shooting

(CNN)  With tensions running high after the shooting of two officers in Ferguson, Missouri, state and county police took over protest security in the St. Louis suburb Thursday.

St. Louis County Police and the Missouri State Highway Patrol are assuming “command of the security detail regarding protests,” St. Louis County Police said, while Ferguson Police will remain responsible for “routine policing services” in the city.

Meaning: the city was “taken over” by outside forces.

Ferguson DecisionThe officers who remain are there because they cannot readily leave, and they can do nothing right — at this point — in the eyes of the nation.

Ferguson Cops SensitiveThey are caught between belief and physicality.

And they are caught up in the lie that apparently won’t stop.

The Hillary disaster:

Hillary Clinton InvestigatingIt just keeps getting worse for Hillary Rodham Clinton.

She just recently spoke to eBay personnel in Fornicalia on Thursday, for roughly $200,000.  The eBay team wanted her speech to be “off the record.”

Repeat: for $200,000.

Hillary Clinton YeahThat said, FoxNews weighs in with an amazing article on her e-mails:

Hackers, probing Clinton server, cite security lapses

by James Rosen

Stirred by the controversy surrounding Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server when she was secretary of state, a determined band of hackers, IT bloggers, and systems analysts have trained their specialized talents and state-of-the-art software on clintonemail.com, the domain under which Clinton established multiple private email accounts, and uncovered serious lapses in security, according to data shared with Fox News.

The findings call into question Clinton’s confident declaration, at a hastily arranged news conference in New York on Tuesday, that “there were no security breaches” in her use of a private server. One prominent figure in the hacker community, bolstered by long experience in the U.S. intelligence community, has undertaken to build a virtual “replica” of Clinton’s server configuration in a cyberlab, and has begun testing it with tools designed to probe security defenses. This individual has shared details of the Clinton system not disclosed publicly but legally obtainable.

So hackers are interested in vetting Hillary’s claims?  I find this most interesting.

“There is a very strong indication that the clintonemail.com server is in Manhattan,” the source told Fox News.

But the best paragraph of all in the story:

Just the original decision to use a private email account, with Clinton’s own surname embedded in it, has baffled the hacker community. The analyst with experience in the intelligence community, a “white hat” hacker — the kind corporate firms retain to conduct “penetration testing” that exposes businesses’ cybersecurity lapses — told Fox News: “If we learned that the foreign minister of a major foreign country was using her own private server to send and receive emails, and was relying on outdated commercial software to operate and protect it, that’d be a hallelujah moment for us.”

You don’t conduct sensitive government e-mail communications on a private server.  Period.

Brian Williams Hillary's EmailsBut what about this?

Hillary Emails FactsArrogant, entitled, insulated, insular.  Hillary is all of those things.

EMAIL RULESAnd what about this, from FoxNews.com:

No one read Hillary emails before destruction

by Chris Stirewait

NO ONE READ HILLARY EMAILS BEFORE DESTRUCTION
How did Hillary Clinton know that the tens of thousands of emails from her time in office she ordered destroyed were personal? Did she or even her staff scroll through her sent items scanning emails about “yoga routines” or “family vacations” before deleting them? Nope. No one looked at them. The Clinton campaign said those emails that did not crop up in a keyword search performed by her team were automatically deleted. No eyes. No one to be subpoenaed. Just highlight all and press delete. That method seems better for missing emails than to finding them. And it would sound reckless and haphazard coming from another politician. In this case, though it sounds like a woman covering her tracks in preparation for a long and bloody legal fight over subpoenas to come.

Further:

DID HILLARY SIGN ON THE LINE?
WashEx: “Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, like all departing federal employees, was required to fill out and sign a separation statement affirming that she had turned over all classified and other government documents, including all emails dealing with official business. Fox News’ Megyn Kelly reported Wednesday evening on the requirement and that a spokesman for Clinton had not responded to a request for comment, including an explanation of when the former chief U.S. diplomat signed the mandatory separation agreement or, if she didn’t, why didn’t she. The Washington Examiner also asked Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill for comment late Wednesday but had received no response from him early Thursday.”

“Every employee at the State Department has to sign this little piece of paper when   they leave the State Department. And it says I certify basically under penalty of perjury that I have returned all official records that were in my possession while I was an officer of the Department of State. So where is that document, Megyn? And if there isn’t, if [Hillary Clinton] didn’t sign that, why not? There are a lot of questions to be answered.” –Former DOJ Attorney Shannen Coffin on “The Kelly File” Watch here.

Hillary Deleted EmailsThere was a clear and present intent to deceive the federal records act.  Plain and simple.  Hillary Clinton believed she was above the law.

As an aside, I should care to mention this pertinent tidbit:

Dead. Broke. – Politico: “By Election Day 2016, taxpayers will have paid out more than $16 million to fund Bill Clinton’s pension, travel, office expenses and even the salaries and benefits of staff at his family’s foundation, federal records show. Since he left the White House in 2001, Clinton and his office have received more money through the Former Presidents Act than any other ex-president, according to a POLITICO analysis of budget documents.”

The Clintons: taking advantage of every penny, every copper, every dime of American Taxpayers throughout the nation.  They Live Large at your expense.

Because, after all, you owe it to them for their immaculation.

Hillary Clinton Question

Tom Cotton stirs it up:

Tom CottonTom Cotton, a Freshman Republican, has certainly struck the hornet’s nest with a major rhythm stick.

From the NYTimes.com:

Senator Behind Iran Letter Is Latest Freshman Republican to Stir Things Up

by Jennifer Steinhauer

WASHINGTON — First there was Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, who held up bills, conducted an antidrone talk-a-thon and generally annoyed his colleagues. Next was Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, who whipped up a campaign that shut down the government.

Now comes Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas, another Republican freshman, whose letter to the leaders of Iran warning against a nuclear deal with the Obama administration has caused an international uproar.

At 37, Mr. Cotton is the youngest member of the Senate and had served as of Wednesday exactly 65 days. A graduate of Harvard and Harvard Law School, Mr. Cotton served as an infantry officer in the 101st Airborne Division in Iraq in 2006, one of the bloodiest periods of the war.

But what did Cotton actually advocate?

Kerry LetterMore importantly:

Leaders in the House noted Mr. Cotton’s intellect and the fact that he showed little willingness to compromise on legislation, even when the leadership wanted him to. In 2014, he campaigned in a camouflage-themed recreational vehicle against the Democratic incumbent, Senator Mark Pryor, and handily beat him.

Let’s face it, Mr Obama’s “deal” with Iran includes concessions just short of abject capitulation to the Iranians.  It would leave Iran’s nuclear infrastructure primarily intact, including heavy water reactors and at least 6,000 centrifuges.  It would even allow work to continue on Iran’s ballistic missile program.

The “deal” will also sunset in 10 to 15 years, allowing Iran to do anything it wishes thereafter.

Because Mr Obama is the smartest man in DC and in every room, just what did he receive from Iran in terms of concessions?

Let’s see: uh, nothing.

That’s right, Mr Obama is clearly a hard-line negotiator when dealing with the Muslim world, by God!

Sanctions would actually be lifted on Iran, in “exchange” for Iran allowing inspection of its nuclear facilities — something it’s supposed to already be doing — yet the IAEA finds itself currently stymied at most every turn by Iran.  Already.

DC and Obama are pissed because Cotton dares to point out the lack of clothing on Emperor Obama.
