Ebola terror at Gatwick as passenger collapses and dies getting off Sierra Leone flight

by Rebecca Younger & Andy Lines

Staff tell of fears as jet from Africa is quarantined after the death of passenger who was ‘sweating and vomiting’ before she collapsed

Airport staff tonight told of their fears of an Ebola outbreak after a passenger from Sierra Leone collapsed and died as she got off a plane at Gatwick.

Workers said they were terrified the virus could spread globally through the busy international hub from the West African country which is in the grip of the deadly epidemic.

The woman, said to be 72, became ill on the gangway after she left a Gambia Bird jet with 128 passengers on board. She died in hospital.

Ladies and gentlemen, Ebola is now out into a Westernized country.  Just as I suspected and as I warned.

Here is what people don’t think about:

Everyone on that plane is infected.  Every aircraft  has a closed system of recycled air.  Everyone who touched her.  Everyone who handled her baggage. Everyone who helped her or serviced her at any point in her trip.  Everyone.  And needs to be quarantined.

Further, places where she washed her hands, where she used silverware in a restaurant, where she sneezed, where she blew her nose, and where she urinated or defecated — those places are likewise infected.

What people don’t wish to know: some women hover when they urinate over public toilets.and the urine splashes.  Anyone who sits down on that toilet is subject to infection.  Sweating?  Vomiting?  Bodily fluids, ladies and gentlemen.

Where she touched her eyeballs and then touched a doorknob.  Where she touched her oily or sweating face and touched another object or person, in purposeful or unconscious gestures.

And watch: response and quarantine to this will be considered an “over-reaction.”

It takes 21 days for Ebola to incubate.  So that person KNEW she was sick WHEN she got on that aircraft.  She did so anyway.

And I say this: I submit this is a very poor time to be getting into any airliner for any reason.  It is av very poor time to take an international trip.  Anywhere.  For any reason.  You have no idea where that aircraft has been and who has been sitting in the seat you’re about to occupy.

Further, it is a very poor time to be near a hub of large population, as in any large city serviced by a major international airport.  For, now, obvious reasons.

I said Ebola was “one plane ride away.”

And it clearly is.

FIRST obvious step: NO ONE from Africa enters this country

P.S.

You wonder how Ebola transfers in primitive Africa?  This way: tradition indicates that when someone dies, you wash and tend the body afterwards, and many people come in contact.  Now, black people in Africa believe that the White Man has created Ebola and applied it to them — and it won’t be eradicated because the White Man, via White Doctors, refuses to allow them to conduct their rituals for the deceased.

Grading a paper = racist

RaceEmoticons are racist.  Everyone knows that.

Further, making corrections as a Caucasoid teacher to a black student’s paper is also racist.  From DownTrend.com:

Professor Called Racist For Correcting Black Student’s Grammar And Punctuation

by Brian Anderson

I thought the race debate reached a new low when Gummy Bear maker Haribo was accused of racism for making African mask Gummies, but what happen at UCLA this week makes that look sane. 25 University of California Los Angeles students participated in a sit-in protest because, get this, one of their professors had the gall to correct grammar and spelling issues on some black students’ papers.

Val Rust, a professor of education and information, was the target of the protestors for what they feel was racial insensitivity. Describing themselves as “aggrieved minority students,” they claim that the professor was wrong to correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar in the papers of black students.

Call 2 Action: Graduate Students of Color, the group which launched the sit-in, said the act of correcting a black student was “micro-aggression.” But it’s much worse than you think. The group issued the following statement:

“A hostile campus climate has been the norm for Students of Color in this class throughout the quarter as our epistemological and methodological commitments have been repeatedly questioned by our classmates and our instructor. The barrage of questions by white colleagues and the grammar ‘lessons’ by the professor have contributed to a hostile class climate.”

Did you get that? Trying to hold black students to a college level of proper writing skill is a hostile act of racism. And you know they are serious; just look at all those big words they used in their statement.

I cannot read this and not think of the absolute disaster called “Ebonics,” a failed 1996 Leftist program stemming from the Oakland School Board in Fornicalia, which insisted that “Ebonics” was an actual, embraced, logical and promoted language.

This amazing paragraph:

For students whose primary dialect was “Ebonics”, the Oakland resolution mandated some instruction in that dialect, both for “maintaining the legitimacy and richness of such language… and to facilitate their acquisition and mastery of English language skills.” This also included the proposed increase of salaries of those proficient in both “Ebonics” and Standard English to the level of those teaching limited English proficiency (LEP) students and the use of public funding to help teachers learn AAVE themselves.[1]

Please allow me to dredge up another statement from Captain Obvious: “Ebonics” was another Leftist ploy to make excuses for lazy black instructors and black students who had no incentive to excel, as they were held to few if any quality standards by said instructors.

Unmotivated and excuse-providing black teachers expected nothing from their students but to portray and embrace themselves as victims.

Expecting actual performance from a black student is racist.  Keeping him ignorant and stupid is not racist but to be promoted.  This kind of thinking mystifies me.

And, in truth, helps to keep a permanent underclass just that.

Leftists: emoticons are racist

Emoji ExamplesWith all of the things occurring on the planet, Leftists are once again navel-gazing and placing the racism of emoticons at the top of the heap in terms of importance.

You can’t write this stuff.

From MotherboardVice.com (whatever the hell that is):

The Petition to Make Emoji Less Racist

If you spend a decent amount of time on the internet, chances are you’ve heard people raising hell because there are no African-American Emoji icons. Diversity-minded texters are now actually trying to do something about the emoticon racism problem, by petitioning Apple to add more people of color to its Emoji keyboard.

“If these Emoji are going to be the texting and Twitter standard, we think it’d be cool if they better reflected the diversity of the people using them,” argues a petition currently up on DoSomething.org, spotted by Fast Company.

The petition laments that out of 800 emoticons, the only two person icons that aren’t white: a guy who looks “vaguely Asian” and another wearing a turban. Meanwhile, it points out, there are two different camels, a smiling pile of poo, and a cop, bride, grandma and dancer, all white. But zero black people.

Stop the presses!  Emoticons are racist, those evil bastards!  Or bastardettes!  Or LGBTQ bastardoritos!  Bastardoritas?

But if you wish even more extreme irrelevancy — to the point where you’re likely in another dimension entirely — read this:

Some white emojis, such as the image of the police officer, appear to hold positions of power, emphasizing the idea that minorities do not commonly occupy skilled jobs like these. In addition, the blonde princess represents that only pure and royal whites can obtain power. In fact, I am surprised that they do not have a white king. The white angel also shows white purity, while an image of white hands held up in a prayer position implies that religion or Catholicism is a white concept. In addition, the absence of non-white females demonstrates a lack of awareness of the intersectionality between race and gender in society.

Emoticons in “positions of power.”  Once again, the white Emoticon keeping the black emoticon down.

What a wonderful society this must be when, as a Millennial, all you have to be concerned with is the racism of Emoticons.

I shake my head.  What a massive generation of navel-gazing pussies we have raised.

P.S.

Pssst.  Hello?  Leftists?  Anyone notice that Emoticons are actually yellow?

Last crewman of the Enola Gay passes:

Theodore VanKirk, Navigator On Enola GayFrom CBSNews.com:

Theodore VanKirk, last survivor of Enola Gay crew, dies

ATLANTA – The last surviving member of the crew that dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima has died in Georgia.

Theodore VanKirk, also known as “Dutch,” died Monday of natural causes at the retirement home where he lived in Stone Mountain, Georgia, his son Tom VanKirk said. He was 93.

VanKirk was the navigator of the Enola Gay, a B-29 Superfortress aircraft that dropped “Little Boy” – the world’s first atomic bomb – over the Japanese city of Hiroshima on Aug. 6, 1945. The bomb killed 140,000 in Hiroshima and 80,000 in Nagasaki three days later. VanKirk was 24 years old at the time.

A funeral service was scheduled for VanKirk on Aug. 5 in his hometown of Northumberland, Pennsylvania. He will be buried in Northumberland next to his wife, who died in 1975. The burial will be private.

Crew of the B-29 "Enola Gay"Like the bulk of The Greatest Generation, these men wanted no spotlights on themselves and rarely spoke of their exploits and conditions in WWII.  That is simply how they acted and existed, as issued from the factory.  Humble and quiet and efficient and patriotic.

The Enola Gay was recognized as the Silverplate Boeing B-29 Superfortress that dropped the first atomic bomb, “Little Boy,” on Hiroshima — August 6th of 1945.

Theodore VanKirk was a member of that crew.  In his dotage, he spoke to UK media here in 2010.

But what he said deserves to be reproduced here for the sake of historical posterity:

He is now a frail old man who spends his days tending his roses. Yet 65 years ago this Friday Theodore “Dutch” Van Kirk took part in a mission which changed the world forever.

Dutch was the navigator on Enola Gay, guiding the B-29 Superfortress bomber to a point 31,000ft above Hiroshima to deliver the deadliest weapon man had ever built.

More than 200,00 people were killed when the world’s first atomic bomb exploded. Yet 89-year-old Dutch, the last remaining survivor of Enola Gay’s flight crew, has never had any doubts that it was the right thing to do.

“Do I regret what we did that day? No, sir, I do not,” he says. “I have never apologised for what we did to Hiroshima and I never will. Our mission was to end the Second World War, simple as that.

“If we had not dropped that bomb, there is no way the Japanese would have surrendered. We would have had to invade the country and the death toll would have been truly unimaginable.

“They had been taught to fight to the last man and they would have fought us with sticks and stones. We did what we had to do. Not only to save American lives, but Japanese lives as well.”

Boeing B-29 "Enola Gay"We did what we needed to do when we needed to do it.  He said: I would do it again.

VanKirk confirms it.

The Bockscar and its crew applied the second atomic weapon to Nagasaki on August 9th, via “Fat Man.”

BocksCar B-29Truth and in full.

God bless you for your service, sir.

Potential Ebola arrivals in North Carolina, Texas and Canada? Where else?

ebola-outbreak-responsible-for-59-deaths-confirmed-in-west-africaThe Peace Corps is currently removing its volunteers from the countries of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone because of the Ebola outbreak in those three nations.  It is believed that some volunteers were exposed to Ebola whilst making contact with locals.

There are at least three U.S. citizens known to have contracted the disease. Two are medical workers in Liberia, Dr. Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol.

Brantly and the couple’s 3- and 5-year-old children left Liberia for a scheduled visit to the United States on July 20. Days later, Kent Brantly quarantined himself in the isolation ward of a hospital where he had been treating Ebola patients after testing positive for the disease. His host organization Samaritan’s Purse has recalled non-essential employees from Liberia.

Amber Brantly and the children are in Abilene, Texas, under a 21-day fever watch but are not believed to have contracted the illness.

Another American citizen, Patrick Sawyer, died prior to being able to board an aircraft to the United States, which he intended to do — as I wrote about here.

A potential Ebola arrival to the US.

One of those volunteers recently arrived into the United States proper on Tuesday and was responsible for the isolation of an entire corridor of the ER at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.

“CMC officials said earlier Wednesday that a patient was being tested, but a spokesman would not specify what for. Officials with CMC said Wednesday afternoon the patient had recently visited Africa.”

A potential Ebola arrival to the US.

One very important physician familiar with Ebola has already perished from the disease, Dr Sheik Umar Khan, in Sierra Leone on Tuesday.

A story like this with no medical attribution does little to assuage fears of a potential epidemic.

British and Hong Kong authorities are concerned about a global breakout — particularly with regard to centers of high population where the virus could spread geometrically.

Ebola is up to 90% fatal, the incubation period is roughly 21 days, and there is no cure.

Now, a doctor has been quarantined in Canada because of an Ebola fear.

One plane ride away.

Perhaps that plane ride has already occurred.

No one can yet say for certain whether it has, or whether it hasn’t.
