Black racist, an employee of DHS, advocates “killing a lot of whites”

War on the HorizonReverse racism once again?  Check this out:

A Department of Homeland Security employee who works on, among other things, the procurement of guns and ammunition for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, spends his nights and weekends preparing for a coming race war and advocating for anti-gay causes, according to a new report from the Southern Poverty Law Center. Meet Ayo Kimathi, a.k.a. “the Irritated Genie,” who told his bosses at the DHS that his anti-white, anti-gay site, “War is on the Horizon,” was just an entertainment site that sells concert and lecture videos.

The site?  Waronthehorizon.com (the server was down as of this writing).

The opening page of Kimathi’s website describes the group as “a Haitianist organization created for the purpose of preparing black people worldwide for an unavoidable, inevitable clash with the white race. Whites around the world are absolutely determined to exterminate Afrikan (sic) people in all corners of the Earth.”

“Warfare is eminent, and in order for black people to survive the 21st century, we are going to have to kill a lot of whites — more than our Christian hearts can possibly count,” reads a 2010 post titled “Black Ethnic Cleansing: An Idea Whose Time Has Come.” ”Waging war against whites is at the core of the Afrikan warrior’s spirit. It’s the flame that drives our willingness to fight in the face of certain defeat and/or death.”

And let us not forget — oh joy — this black racist is employed by the federal government and tasked with the acquisition of firearms and ammunition for ICE.

Of course, no one could possibly have foreseen that Ayo Kimathi brought his racist views to the federal work site.  Just as no one could have foreseen the Islamist views of Major Nidal Hassan.  As in: everyone knew about Nidal Hassan but afraid to act for fear of being perceived as anti-Muslim — just as I suspect everyone at Kimathi’s work site knows that he’s a racist but afraid to act because he is black.

I summarize once again: I am past tired of a continuing and unrelenting accusatory finger pointed at Caucasoids for being unmitigated racists.  I am done with being a door-mat for the Racial Industry and Poverty Pimps.  Until everyone is truly equal, and all are responsible and held to account for their racist views — on every side — then there is no true equality.

And I shall not stop pointing out the glaring and ignored inequalities.

The unreported reverse racism marches on:

Delbert-BeltonCheck this out.  It is a race crime, plain and simple.

Un- or -under reported?  Naturally.  The race of the suspects plastered up front, early in the article, as it would have been had the suspects been white and the victim black?

Of course not.

Colorado and North Colorado?

Colorado MountainsDon’t think it’s unthinkable.

Rural Coloradans — about 10 counties — are looking at creating a 51st state.

The US Constitution allows secession via a petition to Congress, carving a new state boundary.  It is Congress — not the president — that would have to approve another state.

About 85% of oil and gas production is in this area.

There would then be two more US Senators.  And at least one new US Representative.

Rural Coloradans are completely and overwhelmingly disappointed with the so-called “representation” afforded them at this point.  They are frustrated, angry, and on the cusp of actual action.

Who would argue against?  Many and most.  Mostly Demorats.  Urban metropolitan areas vs agrarian and rural venues.

North Colorado thinks it would yield about 350,000 to 400,000 occupants.  But what would the money part be?

This: no debt.  It would be perhaps an excellent business model to follow.  They forecast an assessed value of roughly $10 billion dollars.

From WashingtonTimes.com:

Rural Coloradans to vote on breaking away as 51st state, angered by liberal policies on guns, energy

By Valerie Richardson

DENVER — You’ve got North Carolina and North Dakota, so why not Northern Colorado?

Voters in several rural Colorado counties will be asked whether they want to form a new state tentatively named Northern Colorado in the November election, a reaction to the Democrat-controlled state legislature’s “war on rural Colorado.”

The Weld County Commissioners voted unanimously at Monday’s meeting to place a measure on the Nov. 5 ballot asking voters whether they want the county to join other rural counties in forming another state.

“The concerns of rural Coloradans have been ignored for years,” William Garcia, chairman of the Weld County Commissioners, said in a statement. “The last session was the straw that broke the camel’s back for many people. They want change. They want to be heard.”

A common thought and complaint tacitly and overtly ignored by the Demorats in power currently.  It is no surprise that Fornicalia has a Supermajority of Demorats in the state which means that Conservatives have no voice whatsoever in Sacramento.

Given the complexities involved with creating a state, Mr. Hare said, the Northern Colorado movement is considering two other options: asking Wyoming to annex Colorado’s northern counties or requesting that the state legislature redraw its Senate districts to give a senator to each of the state’s 64 counties, analogous to how the U.S. apportions seats by state, regardless of their populations.

Colorado now has 35 senators in districts drawn by population, giving the state’s urban areas far greater sway in the state legislature.

This major thought:

Can you imagine the precedent set should this move towards fruition in any fashion?  Can you imagine the collective sphincters clenching in DC and various other Leftist bunkers when it may be discovered that agrarian or more rural areas may have a hand in determining their own futures?  And the disparities that would result?

Disparities, you ask?  Yes indeed.  True Conservative states would tend to have the greatest amounts of minerals and resources available to them.  They would also begin to build and rebuild, absent onerous regulations and restrictions, infrastructure to include refineries and electrical generation stations.

This would in turn lead to greater independence from DC.  And that is something those in DC, on both sides of the aisle, cannot countenance.

Novelist Elmore Leonard passes at age 87

Elmore LeonardFrom the NYTimes.com:

Elmore Leonard, Who Refined the Crime Thriller, Dies at 87

Elmore Leonard, the prolific crime novelist whose louche characters, deadpan dialogue and immaculate prose style in novels like “Get Shorty,” “Freaky Deaky” and “Glitz” established him as a modern master of American genre writing, died on Tuesday at his home in Bloomfield Township, Mich. He was 87.

His death was announced on his Web site.

To his admiring peers, Mr. Leonard did more than merely validate the popular crime thriller; he stripped the form of its worn-out affectations, reinventing it for a new generation and elevating it to a higher literary shelf.

Reviewing “Riding the Rap” for The New York Times Book Review in 1995, Martin Amis cited Mr. Leonard’s “gifts — of ear and eye, of timing and phrasing — that even the most indolent and snobbish masters of the mainstream must vigorously covet.” As the American chapter of PEN noted, when honoring Mr. Leonard with a lifetime achievement award in 2009, his books “are not only classics of the crime genre, but some of the best writing of the last half-century.”

And that is the absolute truth.  Elmore Leonard not only wrote about crime, but he wrote some significant western novels as well, some of which were turned into various movies such as Hombre and Valdez Is Coming.

Mr Leonard’s list of novels is here.

My favorites?  His earlier works:

Fifty-Two Pickup. New York : Delacorte Press, 1974.

Swag. New York : Delacorte Press, 1976.
Unknown Man No. 89. New York : Delacorte Press, 1977.
The Hunted. New York : Dell, 1977.

The Switch. New York : Bantam Books, 1978.

And City Primeval.

Elmore Leonard was the King of Dialogue with sparse, true writing.  Any and every current or budding writer should absolutely purchase Leonard’s “Ten Rules of Writing.”  Simply mandatory.  Please, I implore, click on the link directly above.

Mr. Leonard is survived by five children from his first marriage, Jane Jones, Katy Dudley and Peter, Christopher and William Leonard; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Elmore John Leonard Jr. was born in New Orleans on Oct. 11, 1925. Nine years later his father, an executive with General Motors, moved the family to Detroit. After graduating from high school in 1943, he did a two-year stretch in the Navy. Picking up his schooling at the University of Detroit, he graduated in 1950 and became a copywriter for a Detroit advertising agency.

His first crime novel, “The Big Bounce,” set in Michigan, was published in 1969 and kicked off a series of hard-boiled crime narratives — “Fifty-Two Pickup,” “Swag,” “Unknown Man No. 89”and the raw genre masterpiece “City Primeval: High Noon in Detroit” among them — that to some of his die-hard fans define the essence of urban noir.

I would highly recommend all of the above books for anyone wanting to introduce themselves to Leonard’s excellent writing.  They are my absolute favorites.

But in terms of urban noir, I would also recommend two other American novelists: James Ellroy and the little-known and oddball Eugene Izzi.

You won’t go wrong with any of these three crime writers, as well as cop writers Joseph Wambaugh and Gerald Petievich — subjects for another later post.

Goodbye, Dutch.

You will be missed.

Governor Chris Christie signs bill banning gay conversion therapy in New Jersey

Christie's Love At the Jersey ShoreA similar bill was signed Tuesday of last week by Fornicalia’s Governor Jerry Brown, as I documented here.

From CBSNews.com:

TRENTON, N.J. Gov. Chris Christie on Monday signed a bill barring licensed therapists from trying to turn gay teenagers straight, making New Jersey the second state to ban so-called conversion therapy, along with California.

The bill passed both houses of the New Jersey Legislature with bipartisan support in June. Assemblyman Tim Eustace, who sponsored the bill and is openly gay, described the therapy as “an insidious form of child abuse.”

In a signing note accompanying the bill, Christie said he believes people are born gay and that homosexuality is not a sin. That view is inconsistent with his Catholic faith, which teaches that homosexual acts are sins.

The Republican governor also said the health risks of trying to change a child’s sexual orientation, as identified by the American Psychological Association, outweigh concerns over the government setting limits on parental choice.

Really?  How about this: “The little boy who started a sex change at age 8 because he (and his lesbian “parents”) knew he always wanted to be a girl.”

Yeah.  Chris Christie for President.

Right.
