GOP Update:

It’s pretty simple.

No one really thought that Donald Trump would last as a presidential candidate. Of course, he didn’t disappoint — he has officially pulled out. He was a temporary distraction. He’d rather continue with business and his television shows. Nothing wrong with that, indeed. But blowing up the presidential skirts? Just wrong. But: no loss.

Huckabee is out. I repeat: no loss.

Newt Gingrich is in. Paul Ryan is not too terribly keen on Newt.

Mitt Romney has raked in, so far, the most cash.

Rick Santorum has his hat in the ring but predominantly no one knows who the hell he is.

Ron Paul is just — Ron Paul. Only a smattering of dimwits would vote for this elderly flake. But he does make one recent interesting point.

Obama’s “OBL Bump” has ended.

In the meantime, the USA borrows $58,000 a SECOND.

Pete and Repeat were walking down the street. Pete fell down.

And who was Left?

Denair (CA) School District to Cody: You can’t have a flag on your bicycle — a reminder.

[Thanks to Geeez for the heads-up. -BZ]
First, Cody Alicea couldn’t have a flag on his bicycle because it might offend “some” persons on Cinco de Mayo. Which, by Mexicans, is considered Cinco de Gringo — because Mexico doesn’t even much care about it.
Then, in reconsideration, Denair (Fornicalia) School District officials said that the prohibition was for “safety reasons.”
I’d wager the Cinco reason was the predicating reason — GOWPs allowing race to rule.
See the original story here. KCRA mentions Cinco de Mayo in the video. But what the first story doesn’t mention is this, referred to here:

At the time, the district said a campus supervisor asked Cody to put his flag away while on school grounds; Superintendent Ed Parraz issued a memo in March, saying that the request came only after Cody’s mother “agreed that due to threats he was receiving, the flag should be put away while there was an investigation into who was threatening the student.”

Yes, that’s correct; a kid — a white kid — was receiving death threats for daring to fly the American flag on his bicycle. Because of “racial tensions.” (Oh, so it wasn’t for “safety concerns”, was it?)
Now, see the results: over fifty local American Legion bikers escorted Cody to school (November 15th, 2010), their motorcycles absolutely festooned with American flags — in support of one 13-year-old boy. To see the KCRA video on YouTube, go here.
There was another reaction; go here.
Once the story went viral, however, somehow — magically, mystically — the school edict against Cody’s flag disappeared. Isn’t that amazing?
But Google and the American media isn’t without guilt as well. Google has refused to allow embedding of the KCRA videos, and comments to the videos are closed. “By request,” says Google. Hence, no embedding here. Of course, I’m not quite shocked, even after this amount of time. I finally found a video about the story on my local Sacramento Channel 40 Fox News and backtracked it to YouTube. That is the top video.
But something was started.
There are clues indicating that, little by little, real Americans are refusing to placidly sit down and allow GOWPs, Racist Pimps, Poverty Pimps and government administrators to rule by simple fiat. There is an actual backlash beginning, actual consequences to undermining our country, and people are beginning to turn on the “politically correct” stand — as well they should.
The real reason for disallowing Cody’s flag on his bicycle, then? Fear of “offending” Mexicans. Let me be crystal clear: if you’re a Mexican and you’re offended by an American flag on May 5th, or Veterans Day — or any day — then you can traverse either straight to Hell or straight back to Mexico.
And by the way, this past May 5th, Cody Alicea was flying his American flag.
