O, The Betrayal!

Imagine, if you will, the sense of abject betrayal the Leftists/Socialists are feeling today after President Barack Hussein Obama asked for the two following items regarding national education:

  • – Merit pay for teachers;
  • – Expansion of the number of charter schools
Worse yet, Mr Obama stated that he insists “the money is tied to results” in education.

Uh-oh. Looks like our new president might be hinting at some form of accountability or responsibility attached to more funding for education.

It can only go downhill from here.

Intelligent, But. . .

. . . clearly lacking in any common sense whatosever:

KABUL (Reuters) – President Barack Obama’s proposal to reach out to moderate Taliban will fail to end the Afghan insurgency as it is inflexible Taliban leaders who are orchestrating the war, not moderates, analysts said.

It is clear Mr Obama is not unintelligent; he knew how and when to pull a sufficient amount of puppet strings to acquire the presidency, along with a legion of oh-so-willing dupes in host with the Mainstream Media. He has surrounded himself with like-thinking sycophants, trembling toadies and sniveling jackanapes.

Where Mr Obama becomes the dullard is when he cleaves common sense distinctly away from the intelligence pile.

One may find a “moderate Taliban” where one would customarily locate a “giant shrimp.” I could go on but that would be tedious.

A brief refresher on “Who Are The Taliban 101”:

  • They immediately forbade, upon takeover, women from attending any schools;
  • Instituted strict Sharia law;
  • Women could not work outside the home (violators would be beaten or shot);

Ralph Peters, columnist for the New York Post, rightly compares the Taliban to alien life forms.
And this but an upbeat sampling of their simple pleasures.

This is the president for which you, America, voted.

Aid For Illegals In Stimulus Package

LOS ANGELES — Tens of thousands of jobs created by the economic stimulus law could end up filled by illegal immigrants, particularly in big states such as California where undocumented workers are heavily represented in construction, experts on both sides of the issue say.

Exquisite. Not only are ILLEGAL Invaders responsible for skyrocketing healthcare costs in Fornicalia, we’re now going to consider them in the so-called “stimulus” package.

And guess what, citizens of the United States? There isn’t a THING you can do about it. You are completely powerless.

Let’s Kill American Business, Pt. XIV:

The United States Supreme Court has now decided that, though a given drug is FDA approved, if a deleterious event results from that drug the incident is actionable — despite the FDA drug approval.

Let’s do what I call “The Logical Extension”:

Do you think this decision will, in the long run, save lives or jeopardize lives? Because, of course, it begs the primordial question: why would drug companies conduct more and deeper research into newer drugs? Who will do this?
