Article 50 triggered: Brexit truly begins

As opposed to all of the forces aligned against the very concept of Brexit itself by most every monied and arrogantly-assumptive elitist in Europe, a very critical step to the UK removing itself from the European Union begins.

Parliament has given its approval for Prime Minister Theresa May to start Britain’s withdrawal from the European Union, even as Scotland signalled its opposition by announcing plans for a fresh independence vote.

The House of Lords rejected a last-ditch attempt to amend a bill empowering Mrs May to begin Brexit, paving the way for it to become law as early as Tuesday.

Let me be blunt: this exists as a dagger to the heart of the Caucasoid GOWPs extant throughout the European Union whose life revolves only but about the One World Barbecue.

Just as Chuck Schumer is currently weakening America in order to provide more power to the Demorats by refusing to approve the final cabinet positions and appointments of President Trump, the Caucasoid GOWPs of the EU have done their level best to weaken Europe by trying to obstruct Brexit with all their might. Both are maliciously destructive, purposefully so.

The prime minister could then trigger Article 50 of the EU’s Lisbon Treaty at any time, starting two years of talks that will end with Britain becoming the first country to leave the bloc.

Mrs May’s spokesman sought to play down speculation that she would send her notification letter to the European Council on Tuesday, when the bill is expected to receive royal assent from the Queen.

But if independence is the issue, so it is “locally.”

But the prospect of an imminent start to Brexit was enough to push the nationalist devolved government in Scotland into calling for a new independence referendum.

For those ignorant of geography or history, let’s not forget that England is on an island, and so is Ireland. Scotland exists on the northern portion of the island. I apologize if I insult the older readers amongst us, but newer readers have no idea what is the United Kingdom.

For his service to country and courage in the face of overwhelming odds, Nigel Farage should be knighted.

Steve Hilton, former Senior Advisor to David Cameron, proposed a series of questions to be considered for roughly every bill or movement in any government:

  • Should the federal government be involved in this at all?
  • Is it a function of government and is it really necessary?
  • Should we be doing this at the federal level?
  • Power and accountability should be placed in the hands of persons in local communities in terms of decision-making, not larger government

Additionally, I would — as the Bloviating Zeppelin for the US — add these critical questions and qualifiers:

  • Is it Constitutional?
  • Is it fiscally prudent?
  • How will it be funded?
  • Does it add to the deficit?
  • Does it reduce or enhance freedoms?
  • Does it enhance or diminish US sovereignty and power?

I can guarantee you this: the instigation for Brexit revolves around the perceived and actual loss of control forced upon the EU client states by Brussels and, to an equal or greater degree, by Angela Merkel’s insistence that the EU be overwhelmed by Muslims who have no intention of assimilation whatsoever.

  • Borders
  • Language
  • Culture

You couldn’t see this coming, could you, elitists?

No. Because they couldn’t understand that, after a period of time, the proles, the serfs, the groundlings, the commoners — they sometimes come to their senses.

When they do, they are not pleased.

After Brexit, Frexit?

Have the French finally had enough of jumping whenever Brussels or Merkel demands? Because it is, frankly, Brussels and Merkel who have determined the recent path of France.

First, Angela Merkel’s importation policy of illegals has not only inundated her country to the tune of one million+ Muslim “refugees” who are assimilating not unlike oil and water, but the flood has turned Paris and other cities into nightly displays of carbeques, riots, disturbances and increased crime — also creating actual “no-go” zones in France.

Folks, an important clue and safety tip from me to you: If you’re planning on seeing wonderful, beautiful Paris, you’d best cancel your rather expensive vacation, save your cash, and visit the downtown area of your nearest high-density, high-rise, low-footprint urban rat cage. You’ll see the same thing and at a fraction of the cost. You’re welcome.

The French are also tired of having their culture eradicated and enclaves formed by Muslim migrants.

There are those who, after Brexit, think that Italy or France will be next to step out of the European Union.

Italy already defeated a referendum about constitutional reform proposals that would transfer power from regions to the centralized Italian government. In other words, it was a Leftist power grab by former Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi which would have removed checks and balances from the system. The power to block or revise legislation or even unseat a government would be been removed by Renzi.

The proposal failed at vote and, as promised if it failed, Renzi resigned.

Bottom line. What caused Italian voters to rebuke Renzi’s proposals? A crap economy and the flood of tens of thousands of migrants into Italy. Italian voters could see they were losing the country and losing the capability to keep what is their Italian culture and their Italian history.

At the time, around the middle of December, I said and wrote that likely Italy would attempt to exit the EU next and then possibly France. I also said that if France managed to leave, the rest of the European Union would essentially break apart like a dried leaf.

“We want a European Union that is ready to listen. They are not ready to listen and they are going their own way.

The UK started with Nigel Farage’s Brexit — still highly contested — and now appears to be moving towards Italy examining its own ejection from the European Union.

François Hollande denounced populism and nationalism ahead of upcoming French presidential elections, but Marine Le Pen hit back saying after Trump and Brexit, the French share the worldwide “aspiration for independence” in the fight against globalism.

In his New Year’s Eve address, President Hollande, who earlier in December said that he will not be seeking reelection in 2017, alluded to Front National candidate Le Pen when he warned against what he called “rising extremism,” citing Brexit in the U.K. and the election of Donald J. Trump in the U.S.

And therein lies the link. The commonalities are the rise of Donald Trump, the fall of the establishment or status quo on both political sides in the United States and, across the pond, the fall of the Leftist establishment by way of Brexit.

Leftists were, frankly, totally gobsmacked when Trump gained momentum despite every attempt by the Demorats, Leftists, social media, collusion by the American Media Maggots, DNC and much cheating along the way. Frustration grew as Trump became stronger and stronger. It was — and hate to use this term — a “populist wave.”

Simultaneously, sensing the time was right, Nigel Farage assembled the political components to push for and achieve UK’s Brexit. But please note there is a unifying commonality between all of these things: the creation of Donald Trump, the success of Brexit, the rumblings of Italy and, now, France.

The commonality is the standardization of the responses and pushback by Leftist elites to each and every one of those situations. It all went something like this.

Nominal Leftist bleats: it’s nothing but ill-informed populism run rampant with Islamophobia, driven by irrational xenophobia, because all the commoners, proles, groundlings and serfs well and truly do not know what is best for them whilst the Leftist Elites most certainly do. Commoners lack the brainulal horsepower to consider the greater overarching umbrella and must be convinced to properly and rightly concede power to a higher, more all-knowing singular authority

Taxpayers are finally beginning to awaken to their being fleeced by big governments globally, run by Leftist Elites who wish to ultimately answer to no one or nothing. Populism cannot be tolerated because it portends a diminishment of their centralized mastery, challenges their authority, and blinkers their chances to make even larger and farther-reaching power grabs for complete and utter dominance.

The Leftists in Europe aren’t backing down. There is a push for this:

Under the radical proposals, EU countries will lose the right to have their own army, criminal law, taxation system or central bank, with all those powers being transferred to Brussels. 

This is what, ultimately, Leftists in the US would also like to see. A proverbial One World Barbecue. But that is precisely what the vote for Brexit was about: removal of centralization in Brussels and the ability of those who pay taxes in the UK to hold elected persons responsible — as opposed to those unelected few many hundreds of miles away.

The excuses of the Leftist elites are like a company saying “you’re not buying our product, so it must be the consumer’s fault.”

The elephant in the room on both sides of the Atlantic was also the corruptive forces of unbridled migration and immigration. People are sick of it. They don’t want to see their cultures disappear.

There will be another country to leave the EU. Will it be Italy or will it be France?

“Eye In The Sky” — SUPERIOR

Alan Rickman Eye In The SkyJust as I could not recommend the ridiculous film “Batman v Superman,” so must I highly recommend the UK film “Eye In The Sky.”

The late Alan Rickman delivers what will likely be the most coveted line in movie history just prior to a passing.

“Never tell a soldier that he does not know the cost of war.”

And perhaps it couldn’t have occurred to a finer British actor, given the range of his talents and the shocking news of his demise via pancreatic cancer at the age of 69.

I’ll leave it to you to determine which parts of the film are accurate, and which parts are not

The parts with the pussified and limp-wristed politicians unwilling to make an actual decision that could fire back on them?

Yes, that’s accurate.

The parts of the USAF drone pilots having to set up the complicated preparations to unleash missiles with murky ROEs?  Inaccurate.  Too long.  Too open.

Truth?  If drone pilots question their jobs, they can and will be replaced.  Further?  They wouldn’t be there in the first place if they questioned their missions.

If the good Lord could send me some comets, I could perhaps suggest a few locales, otherwise.

“In the next 10 days, we need tangible and clear results on the ground. Otherwise there is a risk that the whole system will completely break down,” Avramopoulos told a press conference after interior ministers dealing with the crisis met in Brussels.

Is UK Prime Minister David Cameron listening?  He thinks Britain needs very much to remain in the EU.

At odds with Cameron is Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London — who thinks a Brexit is just what the doctor ordered.

The migration crisis is just one aspect of the UK’s problems, but it’s not just a United Kingdom problem but a German problem, a Greek problem, an Italian problem and overall a European Union problem.

Advanced, mostly, by Deutschland’s Angela Merkel — who opened her guilty WWII GOWP arms to the flood of Syrians which then, by extension, meant everyone else from North Africa and parts farther.

Ten day, then.  What could happen in ten days?

A breakdown.  A complete and utter breakdown — think Cloward-Piven Strategy — of the western European system on most every level you can imagine.  Fiscal, societal, physical, you name it.

And so when the EU system breaks, what else tends to break?

That’s right, the markets.  EU markets, Japanese markets and of course the US stock market.

Coverage and emphasis UP, not gun crime

Guns Just In CaseThe thing I find particularly frustrating about the ongoing gun control and Second Amendment argument involves the clear lack of facts in the discussion.  With 41 years of law enforcement experience I have seen crime at its peak and at its zenith.  At this point, crime in America peaked in 1991 — oddly enough, when I was a Detective in the Robbery Bureau.  It was nothing for me to carry a monthly caseload of 40 to 50 reports, and there were five other detectives in the unit with a similar caseload.

Since then, the gun homicide rate has gone down 49%.

Despite national attention to the issue of firearm violence, most Americans are unaware that gun crime is lower today than it was two decades ago. According to a new Pew Research Center survey, today 56% of Americans believe gun crime is higher than 20 years ago and only 12% think it is lower.

With that in mind, a brave criminologist dares to speak the truth.  From, of all places, USAToday.com:

Another mass shooting sears deep into the collective consciousness of the American people. Another school — this time a community college in an otherwise peaceful town in rural Oregon — is devastated by a young man taking aim at students trapped in classrooms. Nine are murdered, and many others wounded, before the gunman is killed in a shootout with the police.

Within a few hours, President Obama appeared before the camera, reinforcing the notion that America is under siege. “Somehow this has become routine,” noted Obama with obvious emotion. “The reporting is routine.”

Mr Fox writes with insight and truth:

Although the sense of urgency may be overstated, Obama is certainly correct about the almost formulaic media response. The Oregon shooting had countless news outlets flooding the airwaves and the Internet with questionable statistics on the incidence of mass shootings along with sidebar listings of the deadliest shooting sprees in U.S. history. In the usual rush to offer up some breaking information, news reports were embellished with unconfirmed details about the massacre and the assailant that did little but fuel a contagion of fear.

It is this PSH (Pants-Shitting Hysteria) — ginned up by Leftists — which has a distinct purpose.

Further adding to the state of alarm and confusion, headlines featured scary yet conflicting statistics from various sources. By reducing the standard threshold in defining a mass shooting (four or more killed by gunfire, not including the perpetrator), the incidence can reach incredible proportions. For example, the “Mass Shooting Tracker” website redefines a mass shooting as an incident in which at least four people (including the assailant) are shot, but not necessarily killed. By this criterion, there have been nearly 300 thus far this year.

Mr Fox nails the truth in his final paragraph.

According to a careful analysis of data on mass shootings (using the widely accepted definition of at least four killed), the Congressional Research Service found that there are, on average, just over 20 incidents annually. More important, the increase in cases, if there was one at all, is negligible. Indeed, the only genuine increase is in hype and hysteria.

With all that, why the Leftist emphasis on gun control?  To what point or end?  There is only one conclusion to draw.

In fact, the New York Daily News demands that the US State Department categorize the NRA as a terrorist organization:

On October 3–two days after a gunman killed 10 at the gun free facilities on the Umpqua Community College campus–the New York Daily News called for the U.S. State Department to designate the National Rifle Association (NRA) a “terrorist organization.”

They based this request on their belief that national security faces a greater threat from armed citizens than from “foreign terrorists,” and they singled out the NRA as the bulwark preserving citizens’ right to keep and bear arms. They suggested, “The NRA should take its rightful place on the State Department list of terrorist organizations, because its influence is more of an immediate threat to the lives of our citizens than foreign terrorists.”

Does that mean that blacks, no matter where they are in the US, are also part of a “terrorist organization”?  That would only be fair.  Because this past weekend in Chicago:

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) – At least eight people have been wounded in shootings across the city since Friday night.

Simultaneously, again in Chicago, as Texas Fred so cogently points out:

Nearly 75 people reportedly overdosed on dangerous narcotics, possibly heroin laced with painkiller fentanyl, in Chicago over a three-day span, according to city health and fire officials.

Just one city.  Just one weekend.  No mention of this by the American Media Maggots.  No mention of this by our Racist In Chief.  There is only one conclusion to draw.

Of course, this is insanity writ large for that Leftist Dogma media outlet to .  For one, the NRA would have to be “state sponsored” to qualify.

No mention is made that the children, teachers, and students shot in schools were shot in gun free zones by gunmen who knew their victims could not return fire. Moreover, no utterance given to the fact that the NRA was a leading voice in calling for a change in the gun free policies following the heinous attack on Sandy Hook–they wanted laws changed so teachers could quit begging for their lives and start keeping a gun close at hand with which to defend their lives and the lives of their students.

Why no consideration for the obvious immediate solution?  There is only one conclusion to draw.  If the school shootings stop, the best leverage Democrats and the American Media Maggots have to pass gun control vanishes.  Poof.

Second Amendment School SignTherefore, students and teachers cannot be allowed to defend themselves.  Let the bodies hit the floor.  Because the mental defectives are still out there.

Whites (except this past shooter who was of a mixed-race, white/black, from the UK — who CNN is portraying as white) involved in shootings need to be classified as terrorists.  Blacks involved in a continuing series of non-stop killings of blacks in large Demorat-controlled cities are not.  They’re not mentioned.  It’s as if the fact that Chicago is having its deadliest murder month in over a decade — well, that just doesn’t exist.  Yes.  59 murders of blacks by blacks in one month.

I do not see Mr Obama or any Leftist or Demorat pointing fingers at blacks for shooting blacks, children and infants.  I don’t see any mention of this at all.

Then there is the issue of mental defectives.

Unfortunately, Reagan brought the issue of shutting down the bulk of mental hospitals in California to the forefront; he began diverting funding. The trend continued because Leftists believed each “sanitarium” was a cesspool of horror. The bottom line is that when you remove these institutions, the mentally defective live on the streets, commit crimes, and stay with their parents or isolate themselves, often refusing to take medications or remaining entirely unprescribed.

And here’s the nasty fact no one wants to address: left to themselves, absent firearms, they would resort to vehicles to kill others, clubs, rocks, knives, machetes, crossbows, garrotes, acids and the like. Because they are mentally defective.

Many of these people are only treated in jails and prisons because they have already offended. As there was little available for them on the street. And trust me, mental treatment in jail is barely plugging a huge hole in the hull. The ship is still sinking.

Some of these people will never be “brought back.” Some of these people are not even remotely treatable. But because we, societally, have determined that we won’t warehouse those who really shouldn’t walk the streets, they walk the streets. They live with their parents, with family members who may be afraid of them themselves.

The firearm is just a TOOL. Remove that one TOOL from the toolbelt of the mentally unhinged and defective, they will find ANOTHER tool to replace it of equal or higher offense.

But the issue becomes the tool, not the organic human being.

There is only one conclusion to draw.

Leftists, Obama and Demorats wish to completely disarm the citizens of the United States of America.

So what’s the next step?

An Obama Executive Order.  Gun control by fiat.
